Chapter 1190 Lilith Snow - Allies
Sucked in by the endless chaos brought on by the Order, a chillingly familiar yet unfamiliar voice resounded, catching my ear.
“Alright, Big Brother,” The voice of Truck-Kun said, her short childlike appearance replaced by a woman’s physique, masked by a number VIII and a fur cap to mask her figure. Her chilling voice stirred the void of emptiness, weighing into my bones like the voice of the reaper.
Arsene said when he first met truck-kun, she was introduced as the world’s greatest killer… I thought it was a joke… But with such killing intent. It would seem I was wrong. This woman is… a Monster, just like her two brothers.
She turned to Arsene, who merely stared, his expression unmoving despite the endless destruction around, ” See you soon Big-Big Broda!” She waved, vanishing alongside Van and Zero.
“Regroup!” Arsene howled towards everyone. As if already sensing what lay beyond this void of nothingness.
“My Lady… the first wave is gone. But I can feel another wave hidden within a pocket dimension. And this Dimension is moving.” Damaris said, peering ahead with narrowed eyes. “They could be the Nobles they spoke of.”
I sneered, nearly scuffing. ” There probably be Rankers, families who claim their power is near those of Devils and Angels. Foolish little insects who devolved from High Humans, into Celestials, to whatever the Hell they are now.”
“So not a threat.” Vita mused. 𝓫𝓭𝓸𝓋𝓁.𝓬𝓸𝓂
“A threat? I’ve seen shit stains more of a threat than them,” I told her, somehow feeling like I was turning into Arsene. When did I get such a dirty mouth?
I shot him a peek, smiling as he roared his commands, setting up a front line around Iluthath, a sensation of authority no lord, man, or god held resonated with the realm around him. And it was growing, evolving with each passing second.
“He’s starting to look like a Sovereign Lord.” Vita solemnly said. “Even I am starting to feel greater respect for him. But I fear… you can’t control him, m’lady.”
“Vita, would you control your prince? You are still interested in marriage, right?”
She froze, her features lighting up like a ripe apple. “M’lady!”
I smiled at her innocent look, almost failing to remember if I had ever held such a look. It had been so long. “Well? Would you try to control your husband?”
“Well. No. But don’t you try?”
“I do, and I always fail. Sene is an enigma. Honestly, he confuses me. Would you have the audacity to tease my true self? I suspect not. And I suspect no one in their right mind would. And yet Arsene did so fearlessly. That arrogant idiot is uncontrollable. But it’s my job to nudge him in the right direction. And have fun doing so. Even if that means I kill all those bitches his cock fell into. But never mind Sene, for now. Where are Cyra and End? I want to make a move against Uriel. We need to kill him in one fell swoop. For that matter, where is Iliana? That bloodthirsty woman ought to be here.”
Damaris winced. ” Must she appear? My Lady? Iliana is unbecoming on the battlefield. She can’t control her desire.”
“But Iliana is ‘the’ strongest, is she not?” I replied calmly.
“Well… Technically I am.” Vita said, coldly chiming in.
“But it wasn’t so when you two first met.” I reminded her, arching my lips to the world-shattering event that took place in my Mind’s Eye.
Vita was surely stronger. But that was only under the premise she had battled Iliana before. In their first meeting, Iliana dominated the battlefield, nearly killing Vita. In their second meeting, Vita destroyed Iliana, leaving her broken in such a state my other self took pity on her granting her life.”
Izavith was very much like Arsene regarding adaptability, but instead of the body, she adapted to battle. It was her talent, one even I failed to grasp fully. She was almost innately as talented as Zariel when it came to combat prowess.
But I must give credit to Zariel even the Abyss was impressed by the Concept of Paragon: Through Zariel, people were able to casually begin creating Infringement Techniques. That monster has the best Talent for Killing I’ve ever seen.
It’s so strange how odd it is for Zariel and Arsene to be. While Arsene is less talented, he built his power by ignoring every law as though he were an infringement god. He’s got more Haxs than the desert has sand.
? “Lilith,” A voice said, jarring me from thought, as an ephemeral flash appeared before my eyes. I frowned almost immediately, seeing cuts and bruises gathered around Tenebrae. Blood soaked her dark robes as she stood there before me, poised with a sense of authority in her stance.
Gashes deep to the bone trailed her curvy figure. And my eye fell upon the spear she wields. I frowned at the sight of Noctem in her hand. The very tool that could make Arsene a slave.
“I would like to request aid.”
I raised my gaze to her. “Metatron?”
She nodded. ” He sent Heavens Gate to attack my Kingdom in the Origin Realm and sent Verenos to this Kingdom.”
Verenos?”
She nodded grimly: “A Nephilim… around Aurelia’s skill level. I’ve been going back and forth between my two kingdoms, holding him off and a few other annoying characters.”
So she came to me? Hmm. We did share a bed, but… Hmmmm. But should I help her?”
I have just enough force to kill an Archangel. And all my generals are busy defending the citadel in the Abyss. I guess I could use Julius. But that lover boy has fallen for one of my first generation, abyssal children. I can’t have him dying.
“Don’t you have allies?”
She nodded. ” I do. But I came to you.” And then a smile appeared. “Lilith, you and Arsene aren’t good kings and queens. You play the game well, but you two are too cold and ruthless to be, and while that makes a great conqueror, true rulers require allies. And I am one of your greatest allies.”
“Are you now?!” I mused, hearing the sarcasm in my tone. “And yet you are here? Seeking my help?”
Tenebrae shrugged. “The Kingdom in this Land belongs to Arsene, while mine belongs in the Origin Realm, holds all my legacies and most powerful generals. And while my kingdom will be fine against Heavens Gate or any Ranker or Angels attack. I can’t allow anyone to attack my home. And merely escape. And so I am prepared to abandon Arsene’s Kingdom in the Fourth Heaven without your help. The Origin Realms takes precedence.”
“He’ll not be pleased.”
“I agree. But Arsene would be angrier to lose the First Kingdom of Darkness, the birthplace where the One Granted me sentience.”
I hatefully groaned. “I’ll send Death, Julius, and a few other Abyssal Children to back you up,” I said, thinking for a second. She was right. Damn, why did she have to be right! AHHHHH!!!!!: “You can return to the Origin Realm. To help those that can help themselves.”
She rolled her eyes, lips arching. Tene shot me a wink. “No need to be snippy, Mother. We both know you’d have done the same. Plus… Noctem will do wonders for your children. Isn’t that the most important thing?”
