Monarch of Darkness, Arsene

Chapter 1059 The Curse Of The Teleth

“Zero. Still wearing that mask, I see.”

“And your ability to state the obvious no matter the scenario never ceases to amaze.” Replied the masked man carrying the number zero over his pale mask. “Have a seat. We’ve much to discuss.”

“Good to see you’re still a dick. Has your cock managed to see any action, or have you managed to keep working out your right arm?”

Amusement filled the gaps that revealed the pooling dark eyes.” Arsene, I’m stronger than you now. I’ll fuck you up.”

“So you saying you not fucking.”

“He’s back,” Zero muttered either with zeel or dismay.

Finding a chair in this conference room, the smile on my face slipped away.

“I’ve met Hellmaster, and it seems Michael is after my head.”

“Hahahaha!! You’re screwed!” Shouted Zairel in laughter. ” Good luck with that. He’s still mad at me too.”

“Brah…”

“Nope.”

“So you’re not going to help?”

Zariel smirked. “I kind of want to see what will happen, don’t you?”

Zero nodded. “Facts.”

Yup, I do not miss the Order. These guys are all bastards.

A/N: I did this to Arsene the other day… he’s not talking to me, lol.

“According to Tenebrae, Michael believes I know something about the scourge that will affect your child, Jin. Or is he not a Nephilim like Aurelia?”

It was only then that Zariel stopped smiling. ” What?”

Explaining my interaction with Lily and the Teleth, Zariel’s eyes glowed a silverly light as he stood up.

“From what I can understand, angels or Fallen only become Teleth after they die. But I’m not too sure about Nephilim or Nephalem. The situation is odd and a little dangerous.”

Zariel stared off into space for a moment and sat back down with a cold expression. ” Little Jin is fine… I just checked, and his genetics haven’t been touched. Same with his soul. But—”

‘But there’s a possibility it could happen.” Zero finished. “If Michael is seeking Arsene for answers, that means he sees reason to find fault with you. He probably believes you may have a way to stop this virus. A stupid notion, but it’s all he can do.

“Where is Lily?” 𝒆𝙣𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝙚𝙩

“Fighting Hellmaster.”

“…”

“…”

“Don’t look at me like that. I was cast away after she said, ‘to come at me.”

“Arsene, can you tell me how a System with no physical body is supposed to fight an almighty being like Hellmaster?”

“You seriously asking me that? How the hell am I supposed to know? It’s fucking Lily. She’ll pick a fight with anyone.” I answered, shrugging. “But Jin is to be Hellmasters disciple. So I wouldn’t worry about him or Crowe. They’ll be fine.”

“Zariel, however, shook his head. ” I don’t leave anything to chance, brother. We need to get in front of this. Because, like any virus, it can evolve, it can grow. If this can affect angels, there is no telling if it could do the same for Abyssal Fiends or other races like you or me. You were right, Zero. I should have interfered.”

“I usually tend to be right, but it’s cool. But Teleth aside, Arsene, I need a drop of your blood, same with you Zariel. And no asking questions. Better Mephisto doesn’t learn anything from you two.”

“Seriously?” We said as one.

“Whose the mastermind? Who’s the one who predicted disaster when Balor first sought out the Heavenly Throne? WHose the one who stopped Mephisto on multiple counts? Me bitches. You two idiots’ mental capacity doesn’t even come close to that of a retard. All you think about is sex, and all you think about is emo shit. Mephisto will play you two like a book. And I’ve got a plan, so shut the fuck up and give me a drop of blood.”

I turned to Zariel, who nodded, understanding my intent with ease, and stood up. ” I agree, brother. We need to initiate the Third Nut-Shot War.”

“Ok-Ok-Ok~ Hold up! No need to restart this shit again! For the love of God. ” Zero backed away, taking the defense position of both hands over his crotch.

“You know, last time I nut-shotted the shit out of Izzy. Quite literally.” Zariel began ebbing near Zero, who pulled back a few dozen steps.

“Bro, chill out!” He winced, pressing his crotch against the wall for ultimate protection. “I don’t want to play this bull shit game! I’m literally helping you, bastards! Chill!”

Garding my jewels just in case. Zariel, the menace, came to a halt. And sucked his tongue. “Weak, but here take it.” He said, passing a droplet of blood to Zero, and returned to his seat. “I missed this.”

“… only you do.” Zero moaned, collecting his blood alongside mine. He returned to his seat, releasing a long sigh. ” I hate you both. I swear you two are like children.”

“Who wants to grow up? By the way, did you ever marry? Or figure out who your parents were?” I asked, but Zero only turned silent and touched his ring finger. A domain of silence enveloped the room, and I knew I had touched a sore spot.

“A lot happened after your death, Arsene. A lot. I killed my wife.” He whispered, startling me as I turned to Zariel, who nodded.

“Why?”

“Never mind, why.” Said Zero sharply,” What else do you know? Or have to say.”

“What happened?” I probed, frowning as I saw him lift his eye to me. He glared with a tinge of fury filling his usual calm eyes.

“Your damn family and their drama happened. Mephisto happened. The Fallen happened. Now we’re moving on.” He snapped, his fist clenching only to relax as he sucked in a long breath. “What else do you have to say?”

Unsure what to say after that reservation, I held my tongue, deciding not to probe deeper. But this was a conversation I wanted to continue at a later date.

“I’ve met Iza, not physically, but there’s a place I think you guys will find interesting. It’s located in a holy area within the Abyss that Vita called the Heart of the Abyss. I’m not sure if it’s really the Heart or just a location that carries the aura of Abyss-chan, but a gate exists to a place more ancient than anything we’ve ever seen.”
