Chapter 116: Meeting Tori and the Gang

[3rd POV]

The teaching lesson had gone on for around another thirty minutes or so, in which the entire class, including Erwin, had been absorbed into her talks. Which was quite a lot, and included a lot of teachings, the most she could reasonably spread before she was forced to cut it off due to the time constraints.

But now that class was over, she was almost instantly approached by a few people.

The first was Tori.

"So uh...you said that your company is always looking for new stars, right?" Tori asked, as Billie looked at the younger teen and gave her a nod.

"Mmhmm. Are you interested in auditioning?" Billie asked, already knowing that Tori would be getting in. There was no way that she wouldn't be.

Same with Jade, Andre, and Cat. Those three were pretty much guaranteed to be accepted as they were genuinely talented, and had some showings for it.

Andre was the one that would get the most attention though, as he wasn't just a fantastic singer, but he was also a song writer. And song writers are pretty rare, but song writer + singer combinations are even rarer.

"Yeah! Is there like...a form I have to fill out for it or anything?" Tori asked.

"Just go onto the website I told you about earlier, and it'll tell you everything that you need to do to audition. If you're as talented as Helen has told me then I am pretty confident that you and your friends will easily be accepted" Billie replied, which got a bright smile from Tori.

"Wait really? You know about us?" Jade asked as she but in behind Tori, pushing her to the side which got a small yelp to leave her. Billie looked at Jade in amusement, before nodding.

"Mhmm. I have seen some of your videos, you know. Make it Shine for Tori over there" Billie said, pointing at Tori who looked at her wide eyed.

"Take a Hint, Give It up, Song 2 You, You Don't Know Me. Just about every song that's come out of this school I have listened to" Billie, which got a small squeal to leave the excited Jade.

"And yes, this does mean I know you, Jade. Just as I know Cat over there, as well as Andre. No offense to you, Beck and Robby. You two just aren't in any of the major songs that I had seen. But I do believe you have some theatre experience, right?" Billie asked, which got a nod from both of them.

"Oh yeah, Robby's in all sorts of plays, too bad he sucks though!" "Rex" said, the doll that he used.

'...Man that is a lot creepier in person' Billie thought.

"And a talented ventriloquist too" Billie added, getting a small smile from Robby which he covered up immediately.

"I-I didn't realize you know us!" Tori said as she pushed Jade out of the way, getting a small giggle from Haley.

"We did our research before we came here, you know. And when we do research we prefer to be in depth with it" Haley replied for Billie, as Tori and the others looked at her.

They had all noticed her, but had been busy freaking out over Billie being there. But now that she was actively talking to them, some of them were now freaking out even more that she was there. Primarily Cat, who was a huge fan of hers, as well as Tori who really liked her music.

It was sort of similar to their styles. While Jade was closer to Billie herself. Andre was not really in one specific genre, and instead was multi-talented. And tended to not tie himself down to a single area, similar to Billie who didn't want to just remain in one specific genre her entire career.

Hence why she was doing 21 as her next album, which is a bit different than her other stuff.

It would make it easier for her to change some more in the future, without getting too many complaints.

Hopefully at least. She really didn't want to deal with a bunch of fans throwing a hissy fit if she decided to make something a bit more pop centered, or even something with a bit of rap mixed in.

"So you've seen all of our music videos and stuff?" Andre asked, as Billie nodded.

"Mmhmm, your writing is pretty good, a bit cliche in certain areas, but I can totally see the potential" Billie replied to Andre, who looked just as excited as Jade after hearing that.

"I'm pretty confident that the four of you will at the very least be given a chance with my studio if you sign up through the proper channels. Beck and Robby, you two...hmm, you are a bit more difficult since you're not really singers" Billie said, looking at the two as she contemplated a few things.

"I am planning on starting a spin-off of my studio that will deal with plays, musicals, and stuff like that. So you two should also be getting an offer on that end as well" Billie added, knowing that Beck and Robby also had a ton of potential.

Not as much as Tori, Andre, Cat, and Jade. But still enough that they would likely get some attention from her company. At the very least they had potential for the future, and should be able to grow in the future, becoming something a bit more than their current selves.

"That's...I-we really have a chance?" Robby asked wide eyed.

"Mmhmm. Ventriloquism, while not as hugely as popular as the other areas, still has its uses. And there are plays and musicals that it's used in, so I'm sure you'll at least get talked to about joining or trying out" Billie replied, giving the teen a nod as he beamed in excitement.

He never really thought that he was going to have the potential to go further. To become something more than his current self.

Basically, he thought he was going to peak in Highschool.

But it looked like that was not going to be the case, thank god.

He really didn't want to be known as the guy that peaked in Highschool. That was not the best thing to be known for. Those guys were...well, almost always kind of huge losers, at least by the standards of others.

"Now, is there any other questions you guys have?" Billie asked, as Cat raised her hand.

"You don't need to raise your hand to ask a question, Cat" Billie said with an amused smile on her face.

"Are you going to come back and teach again? Cause that was super fun!" Cat asked. The rest of them all looked at Billie with hope in their eyes.

"Well...originally I was going to make this a one or two time thing. But I really did enjoy this a lot...so you might just see me more often from now on" Billie replied with a small smile on her face, getting cheers from the students.

Billie had taught them quite a few things that they had never known before. Things that would be vital for their future in the area. Teachings that could not really be properly gained from their teachers, since they were not actually in the space at the same level as Billie.

The group continued to speak with Billie for a while longer, asking about some other advice she could give and more. Before they had to eventually leave for their next classes, which they were borderline late for.

This left Billie and Haley alone, as they decided to head back towards Helen's office, all the while, Billie had only one thought on her mind.

'Let's hope she's okay with me teaching every once in a while'
