Chapter 670 Four Pillars: True Colors
‘-33,648’
With its opponent being unable to react, the quadrant leader had infused its fist with a layer of crimson red mana before sending out a fist towards Valyr’s upper torso.
Feeling its fist finally connect with the opponent that seemed untouchable before its earlier demise, the quadrant leader pushed more strength behind its attack, swiftly sending the young man flying across the sky.
“Valyr!”
Witnessing their leader take the attack of the empowered quadrant leader head-on, the four instantly jumped down from where they stood and headed straight towards where the fight was happening at the fastest speed they could.
Whoosh!
“Vera, Loreina, you two come with me and help me stall the quadrant leader for as long as possible.” With how their leader was currently out for the count, Hal swiftly assumed the position of a leader as he unsheathed his blade.
“As for you, Faulus, head to where Valyr is and help him return to peak condition as soon as you can.”
“Got it.” Hearing Hal’s words, Faulus swiftly nodded as he felt the three cast all of the buffs in their arsenal that could enhance his movement speed.
Then, without delay, he began to move away from the three as he darted straight to where Valyr had landed.
“You two, buff me up as much as possible.” Continuing to head to where the quadrant leader currently stood, Hal looked at the two women that accompanied him and gave them a command.
Though the two did what they were told, casting skill after skill on Hal’s body to no end, it went without saying that the two women began to worry for what was going to happen next.
“What are you planning on doing?” asked Loreina, feeling a hint of dread at the words that would come out next of Hal’s mouth.
Yet the man remained oblivious to this dread as he stopped in his tracks and allowed his aura to flare out in its entirety.
“[Intent Seed of the Divine Blade].”
Whoosh!
Within seconds, Hal’s body was covered in a thin layer of golden energy, making one feel as if him and the sword he was holding were one entity.
Seeing their second strongest combatant stop in his tracks, Vera and Loreina were forced to stop as well, watching Hal gradually reach a level of power comparable to the power Valyr had shown earlier.
“What am I planning on doing?” Feeling as if he had done all he could for what was done, Hal looked at Loreina with a wry smile as he parroted her earlier question.
Then, before the two could react, he dashed towards the quadrant leader at the strongest speed he could muster, leaving the two where they were as his words continued to echo in their ears.
“I’m just doing what I should have done in the first place.”
…
“Ugh… fuck me, man.”
Deeply embedded into one of the north quadrant’s many buildings, a young man let out a pained groan as he commanded the system to show his current health.

‘Any stronger and I would have definitely died,’ thought Valyr to himself as he recalled the attack that landed on him.
Thanks to [Hunter’s Tracking Eyes] and his high perception, he was able to clearly see how the quadrant leader’s fist had landed on his upper torso.
In fact, he even noticed the layer of mana swirling around its fist, prompting Valyr to realize that the quadrant leader had unleashed a skill at the very start of its second phase.
“Too bad my body couldn’t move away from the fist enough,” muttered Valyr as he let out a wry chuckle, only to feel multiple waves of pain from his chest.
Stifling his laughter the very moment he could, the young man took a look down at his body to see the damage the quadrant leader had dealt.
In response, Valyr could only suck a breath of cold air as the sight before him was far more gruesome than he initially thought.
Though the attack was just a fist covered in a layer of mana, due to how much the quadrant leader’s strength had improved, it was as if a large missile had been set off in front of Valyr’s chest point-blank.
Not only was the part of the chestplate that made contact with the quadrant leader’s fist gone, but the shirt he had underneath had more or less disappeared as his ribs had caved in.
Aside from that, due to how much force the quadrant leader had put behind his attack, a considerable portion of the skin on Valyr’s chest had disappeared as well, revealing the bloodied muscle that existed underneath.
With how the other parts of his armor seemed to have been severely affected by the attack just from the winds the punch generated, it could be said that it was nothing more than a miracle for Valyr to still remain conscious from something like that.
“Then again, with the quadrant leader’s current stats, anyone would find it near impossible to avoid such an obvious attack.”
Taking out a health potion from his spatial bracelet, Valyr pulled out its stopper and down its contents in one gulp.
Within seconds, he could feel the potion take effect as he felt his vitality gradually return.
Though, while that was happening, he felt yet another wave of pain spread from his chest as the skin began to regenerate.
“[Intermediate Regeneration].”
“[Intermediate Heal].”
Taking in a few deep breaths, Valyr cast two healing skills on himself to speed up the process as he brought the quadrant leader’s status screen up close to see what he would now be facing.

“How great.” Even though he had been punched away by the quadrant leader, Valyr did not dispel the status screen he had brought up during its growth.
“Not only has it reached the peak of Rank 5, it’s also been reclassified as a Boss.”
“Not to mention the fact that its Intent also went through an upgrade.” Letting out a defeated sigh as he consumed yet another health potion, Valyr began to wonder whether the others had made their move against the quadrant leader.
Then again, the answer to his question did not take long to arrive as a familiar voice began to echo near his vicinity.
“Valyr!”
“Where are you!”
