And once he did, he was left at a slight loss for words.

Although the Origin Essence in his body had decreased to around a tenth of the amount he had gathered throughout 100 circulations, the young man felt that each bit of Origin Essence now contained at least tens of times more power than before.

At the same time, he felt that his body had become sturdier after the explosions, instilling him with a sense of strength that made him feel like the explosions were more of a blessing than a curse.

"How do you feel?" Sensing the newfound strength that was coursing throughout the young man’s body, Zenith quickly understood that the former was done with the ascension.

"Good," replied Valyr after giving the question a bit of thought. "Though, the Origin Essence exploding in my body definitely caught me off guard."

"The process may hurt, but the results speak for themselves." Zenith wryly smiled in response. "Then again, this won’t be the last time you’d have to go through something like that."

At its words, the young man could not help but suck in a breath of cold air.

"Are you telling me...?"

The being paused for a bit before faintly nodding.

At that, the young man could only let out a faint sigh.

’I wonder if learning a skill that nullifies pain perception would help.’

While he allowed his mind to ponder over the preparations he could possibly make for the next ascension, Valyr went ahead and brought up the skill’s description to see what changes the first ascension brought to it.

’By the time I reach the final circulation, I’d probably be spending an entire day just to complete it,’ muttered the young man as he mocked himself.

However, he knew that with the new rate the time increased, the final circulation for the second realm taking an entire day really didn’t seem all that far-fetched.

Sorting out his thoughts on the matter, the young man eventually shifted his attention downwards to look at the additional effects the first ascension brought.
