MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 1800 1800: A Quick Look and a Brief Glimpse

“Have you taken a look at your stats yet?”

Just as Valyr had come to a conclusion with his current train of thought, Xervei went ahead and asked him something he was already planning to do after everything was said and done.

“Not yet.” The young man shook his head. “Why do you ask?”

“Just wanted to give you a heads-up that you should prepare yourself for what you’re about to see,” said the man in return with a chuckle.

“With how high of a rarity your main class and your subclasses are, that Extended Foundation Title I gave you has basically transformed you into an entirely different person.”

Hearing those words, Valyr began to feel a bit of anticipation as he commanded the system to bring up his status screen.

Though, recalling what happened earlier, that anticipation quickly turned into calmness.

‘From what I can remember, I didn’t really feel like my strength went up that much after Xervei sent that energy that upgraded my titles,’ the young man inwardly muttered to himself.

‘Is he trying to bring my hopes up beforehand, just so that I’d be incredibly disappointed once I actually see it?’

As this question came to mind, a screen containing his current list of stats appeared in front of the young man.

Shifting his gaze towards this screen with a calm gaze, that gaze immediately turned into surprise and shock once he realized that Xervei was actually giving him genuine advice.

Then again, with how much his stats have gone up compared to the last time he looked at it, he felt like the man’s words were still an understatement of what was to come.

Ding!

For a while after that, Valyr wondered if he was looking at his status screen. After all, compared to before, almost all of his stats had gone up by at least a couple thousand points.

The only exception to that would be his LUK stat, which only went up by over a thousand. Yet, even that was already a massive jump above its previous value.

On top of that, his HP had broken past the million point mark. Though, the same went for his power level, which had already reached a grade he didn’t think was possible for someone to achieve at his current rank.

By the time he had accepted that the screen in front of him was indeed his actual status screen, the young man took in a deep breath before asking Xervei a question.

“Is it always like this?”

“The sudden jump in strength?” The latter let out a chuckle before shaking his head. “Only for the first Extended Foundation Title.”

“Although each additional Extended Foundation Title you own gives you a lot of stats, you’d need multiple of them just to match the same amount your first Extended Foundation Title gave.”

Hearing those words, Valyr went silent for a bit before nodding in understanding.

“Is it possible to obtain a second Extended Foundation Title?” he asked, prompting Xervei to raise his eyebrow in return.

Realizing that his words had definitely been misinterpreted, the young man quickly clarified himself. “I’m not asking if it’s possible to get another Extended Foundation Title right now. If anything, I’m already grateful that I’ve been given one in the first place.”

“Instead, what I wanna know is if it’s possible to obtain another Extended Foundation Title from the Shadow Plane, given that I make another great contribution in the future.”

At those words, a look of understanding appeared on both Xervei and Florentine’s face as they went silent for a bit.

Then, as if they came to a mutual understanding, the two looked at each other for a bit before telling Valyr the same answer.

“No.”

“No?” Listening to their tone, Valyr had a feeling that the answer wasn’t just some simple rejection. “Is the Shadow Plane incapable of giving someone a second Extended Foundation Title?”

“Quite the opposite,” Florentine replied. “If there was no limit hindering the Shadow Plane whatsoever, Xervei wouldn’t even break a sweat if you were to ask him for a third one.”

“A limit?” The young man quickly caught on to her words. “There’s a limit to the number of Extended Foundation Titles you can get?”

“There is.” Xervei nodded. “Specifically, there’s a limit to the number of Extended Foundation Titles you can get from a certain place.”

“For most places, that limit is one. However, there are some places in the universe where that limit is raised to three.”

“The first place that comes to mind when thinking about the latter would be the Blessed Void Realms, but I wouldn’t recommend you going there before ascending to the Divine level.”

“Blessed Void Realms…” Muttering the place’s name to himself a couple of times, Valyr soon committed the place to memory, making a mental note that the place would probably come in handy in the future.

Of course, with Xervei already warning him of the place’s dangers, the young man did not continue the current topic any further.

“So, is that all of the rewards from the set?” Letting silence surround the trio for a bit, Valyr spoke up as he asked the two about the rewards he received. “Is it just the position and the three titles?”

“Of course not.” Xervei shook his head at the question. “If it were, then I wouldn’t have even considered it a set.”

“If anything, consider what you’ve received as the first part that makes up the entire Tier 3 set,” he clarified to the young man. “And with that, let’s proceed with the second part…”

“Starting off with letting you take a brief glimpse at the Shadowsource’s Void Core.”
