MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 1529 - 1529: Natural Conclusion

“…And done.”

Letting out a faint sigh of contentment after confirming yet another perfect attribute awakening, Valyr went ahead and equipped the final piece making up his new Elder Wyvern Armor set, only to then feel his strength go up by a few notches.

Whoosh!

Feeling great amounts of newfound strength course throughout his body under the effects of the upgraded armor, the young man closed his eyes for a bit, attuning himself to the level of strength he could now control.

Opening his eyes once more a couple of minutes later, he then began to do a few basic combat movements here and there, his dark blue armor glistening under the rays of sunlight peering through the workshop.

“Quite the significant boost,” said Valyr the moment he was done adjusting to his heightened strength, greatly satisfied with the improvement his upgraded armor brought.

“Then again, compared to how much your strength increased thanks to the armor, mine is lacking in comparison.”

Swoosh!

As those words left the young man’s mouth, Ataraxia stood up from where he sat before conjuring a simple fireball with a slight smile on his face.

Of course, with his INT stat comparable to the elites among peak Rank 4 class holders, the fireball he casually conjured still contained an incredible amount of might, giving off the feeling that it could burn the entire workshop into ashes if need be.

“Well, what can I say?” said Ataraxia with a chuckle, responding to Valyr’s earlier words. “Although the armor I’ve been using beforehand was definitely better compared to what everyone else was using, it’s still nothing when compared to your True Wyvern Armor.”

“Much less to the Elder Wyvern Armor you now currently own…” continued the young man, only for a funny thought to soon pop up in his mind. “Or should I call it Blessed Elder Wyvern Armor?”

“If you do that, then you don’t mind me calling your armor Transcendental Half Wyvern Armor of Arcane Origins, right?” said Valyr in return, finding the fact that their armor now had long names somewhat funny.

“As long as you don’t mind me calling yours the Blessed Elder Wyvern Armor of the True Defier,” replied Ataraxia, causing the two to eventually let out laughter in response to their brief quibble.

After letting their laughter subside, the two stared at each other for a bit, the intent behind their gazes incomprehensible to anyone looking from afar.

After some time, the two then nodded in unison, as if they had just come to an agreement in silence.

“Are we going to do it at the same time?” asked Valyr soon after, breaking the silence that briefly surrounded them.

“Does it really matter?” asked Ataraxia in return with a slight shrug. “Either way, it’s been a while since we last checked our stats.”

Valyr nodded at those words. “I’m honestly more curious at how much your stats improved with the new set of armor.”

“Not gonna lie. Same,” responded Ataraxia, only for him to go ahead and bring up his status screen not long after.

“Status screen.”

Ding!

Seeing his other identity bring up his status screen, Valyr quickly went ahead and followed suit.

“Status screen.”

Ding!

“Hmm. A decent boost.”

Recalling the last time he took a look at his stats, the young man quickly confirmed that his stats had all undergone slight improvement thanks to the new effects attached to his newly upgraded armor.

In fact, most of the improvement was due to the armor’s new set effects and the armor’s second innate skill working together, bumping all of his stats to a level that slightly exceeded his stats back when he distributed his Points of Aspiration evenly.

“…Hoh.”

On the other hand, Ataraxia was at a slight loss for words.

By also recalling what he saw on his status screen the last time he looked at it, Ataraxia quickly confirmed that his INT stat had improved the least out of all of his stats after the armor upgrade.

However, in exchange, all of his stats underwent significant improvements, with each stat going up by a few hundred points thanks to the effects of the armor’s set effect as well as its second innate skill.

After they were done familiarizing themselves with their status screens, the two then went ahead and swapped their status screens between one another, prompting them to look at each other with a hint of surprise soon after.

“With your current stats, there might just be the possibility of you surpassing me at the peak of Rank 4,” said Valyr after he was done going through Ataraxia’s status screen, clicking his tongue.

“With how much her elixirs have boosted your stats… Not gonna lie, I’m kind of tempted to ask Mystia for the concoction formula to her Nascent Rebirth Elixir right now.”

“Keep in mind that it’s because of Arcane that I gained a lot out of it,” reminded Ataraxia, letting out a sigh of admiration after going through his original identity’s stats. “But even without it, your stats are insane.”

“You think you could reach five-digit stats by the time you get to the peak of Rank 5?”

“It’s definitely not impossible,” answered Valyr after giving it a bit of thought. “In fact, I feel like you have more of a chance in that regard than I do.”

“Who knows?” replied Ataraxia with a slight shrug. “In any case, now that your armor is upgraded and my new set of armor is crafted…”

“What now?”
