MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 1383 - 1383: Perks of World Raid Equipment

‘[Greater Analysis].’

Asking the system to give him more information on the ring he picked up, Valyr decided to continue looking through the two piles before him for a bit as the information he requested soon appeared in his mind.

[Ring of the Red Wyvern] (Level 40)

Rarity: Rare

A ring containing a small portion of the wrath and anger the red wyvern had towards the heavens that abandoned it.

Because of this anger, what was once a normal ring instead transformed into a ring embodying part of the red wyvern’s properties, specifically its property of great strength.

When worn, this ring increases the user’s STR by 10 points. The potency of the ring’s effects improve once accessories of similar origin are worn.

Note that the ring and other accessories also improve the property of certain equipment as long as the equipment is of similar origin.

Remark: If you like it, then you should’ve put a ring on it.

<Red Wyvern Accessory Set> (1/4)

2 pieces: +10 STR

3 pieces: +10 STR, +1% STR

4 pieces: +20 STR, +2% STR

‘Definitely worth all of the effort put in,’ thought Valyr to himself the moment he took a look at the ring’s description, a smile adorning his face by the time he was done.

Although the accessories one would get from clearing a world raid usually paled in comparison to the ones obtained either through quests or through a jeweler, many players considered these accessories to be the best one could obtain consistently.

After all, almost all of the quests that offered powerful accessories were usually given to players as a one-time reward.

Aside from that, the quality of the accessory made by a jeweler usually depended on the jeweler’s skill level, as well as the quality of the materials used during the creation process.

On the other hand, as long as the world raid that was chosen had accessories that suited the player’s needs, then there were only two possibilities that might greet the player once all was said and done.

It was either they got a good accessory out of the world raid… or they got an even better version of the same accessory out of the world raid.

Of course, the availability and stats of these accessories only made up part of the reason why players usually sought them out.

If anything, the main reason why these accessories were highly sought after was because of the fact that any equipment obtained from world raids had one special perk.

A chestplate containing a small portion of the anger the red wyvern had towards the heavens that abandoned it.

Because of this anger… description has been omitted.

Remarks: Decent chestplate as a foundation, would definitely become something amazing once the full set is worn.

‘That sight really never gets old,’ said Valyr to himself inwardly with a slight chuckle, his gaze briefly sweeping over the chestplate he picked up.

‘If all armor sets could go up to 10 pieces in terms of set effects, I’m pretty sure a lot of people would stick with their armor sets for a bit longer.’

‘Too bad only the ones from world raids have something like that.’

Indeed.

The one perk that made world raid equipment stand out from other equipment was the fact that the armor and accessories one obtained from a certain world raid made up an entire set.

Though Valyr had no clue as to why that was the case, the young man suspected that it was done for the sake of making world raid equipment more viable to use in the long run.

‘Then again, with Greater Beyond being a different universe altogether, there’s no need to think about the reasoning and logic behind such a thing,’ thought Valyr to himself, temporarily placing the ring and chestplate to the side.

‘All I need to keep in mind is that equipment from world raids are pretty good.’

Closing both of the screens he brought up, the young man continued to look through the two center piles, gradually finding the other accessories that made up part of the entire armor set.

By the time he found the last piece that made up a single set of accessories, Valyr took note of a chestplate that had a slightly different design that the one he took out.

Realizing what that meant, the young man hastily swapped the chestplate he took out earlier with it as he went ahead and used his identification skill on the new chestplate.

“Gotcha,” said Valyr softly as he grinned, immediately understanding that he had obtained a piece of the enhanced version of the armor set the world raid gave out.

Seeing that the armor set’s effects were effectively doubled in the enhanced version, the young man went ahead and continued to look for the other pieces that made up the enhanced armor set.

Sadly, after scouring the two center piles from top to bottom, the young man was only able to find half of the enhanced armor set.

Letting out a faint sigh at the result, Valyr went ahead and decided to swap the enhanced pieces for a normal armor set instead, storing a few more items from the two center piles into his spatial bracelet after that before eventually nodding in satisfaction.

“That’s enough.” Double checking to see if he grabbed more than the share that was allotted to his guild, Valyr soon made his way back to where his guild members were, giving Malutar and the others a faint nod along the way.

Seeing that the young man was finally done going through the rewards, it was only then did the four other guild leaders make their way to the seven item piles, carefully choosing the items that suited their guild’s needs.
