Chapter 679 True Strength
Ghoul god’s were like universe’s anomalies- .
A regular human being’s path was one where they completed school by the time they were in their teens and university when they were a young adult.
But every once in a while there was an exceptional kid who would complete university at age 12 defying all odds.
Ghoul god’s were those exceptional kids as while the vast majority of their species was simply not intelligent enough to understand the laws of the universe/ what to do after obtaining divine essence, there was a very small number of them who instinctively knew what to do, developing intelligence just like beasts did.
These were the individuals that stood at the pinnacle of the ghoul society, however, for all their merits and heartwarming journey that they undertook to reach this pinnacle of power, it took Max a total of 4 minutes and 4 seconds to kill both ghoul god’s standing across him.
Max was tier 6 and so was his opponent which meant that he could use his skill [ Illusion Space ] to drag them to his illusionary world for an unfair battle.
Hence choosing to drag his opponents into what seemed to be his version of Ixtal, Max mixed his knowledge of Water Manipulation to his inherent skill of Blood Manipulation as he manipulated the Sanguine.
In such a bloody environment, his opponents never stood a chance against a primordial vampire and it took Max only a few minutes to take down both of them leaving the ghoul army without their strongest warriors.

( Meanwhile Mira )
Mira was the centre of many young dragon’s ire as they wanted to make a name for themselves by taking down the fabled dragon princess.
They outnumbered her, they used forbidden arcane spells on her, they even tried to bombard her with mind illusion spells but the dragon princess was undeterred.
Except for the area where she wanted attack from, her entire body was constantly enveloped in a protective veil, but if one looked closely she was not inside one veil but 3-
Ever since the dragon king came to know that his daughter had infinite mana he had begun to prepare her path as a warrior which involved countless protective and self-buff spells that would not run out until the user’s mana ran out.
Mira who had learnt all the spells his father had intended to teach her to high mastery never got to show her progress to her father till the day he died as some of the most important spells he prepared for her could only be learnt once she had crossed the tier5 threshold, which would have became the cornerstone of her defences.
Of the three veils that surrounded her, the first was a veil that could bounce off physical attacks.
With this veil active around her body, it was impossible for any physical attack to pierce her defences and scratch her scales unless it was a tier6 or higher divine attack.
The second veil was to reflect magic damage-
It did not defend against magic damage but quite literally reflect it back with 80% of the incoming power, meaning that any attack that was thrown towards her would be sent back as a return gift to the caster.
The third veil, however, was the most special.
A secret technique of the golden dragon clan, the third veil gave complete immunity against mental manipulation attacks while absorbing mana based attacks and converting them to healing factor.
The 20% of whatever attack power was not reflected back was absorbed by this third layer converting it to stamina or health points as needed by Mira.
As a child born with infinite mana, the only thing that could stop her in the battlefield was if her stamina was depleted and the late dragon king knew it.
With this third veil he gave her daughter means to counter that weakness too making her the ultimate warrior.
It was his vision that she fight with these skills and reign supreme and had he been alive today to see her use it in action as she took on five tier6 white dragons alone he would have undoubtedly felt proud.
However, while his approach to equipping his daughter with skills was still practical, her mother’s was not.
Rhea was the destructive black dragon and the vision she had for her daughter was to become the dragoness of death as those were the kind of moves she shared with her daughter as her legacy.
All five young white dragons were put on high alert as they felt Mira beginning to collect divine essence.
The information they had on her said that she had infinite mana but nothing was said about her ability regarding divine essence but everyone assumed it must be finite.
This was partly true but what they did not know was that Mira was a beast even in this department having a pool 10 times larger and a replenishment rate 10 times faster than the average dragon for divine essence.
Wielding the power of the god’s came naturally to Mira, it was ingrained in her very DNA as she took all of 12 seconds to cast one of the most difficult black dragon arcane attacks that even Rhea as a tier8 monarch needed 11 seconds to cast-
” Blacker than a moonless night.
Darker than a lightless shadow-
Come forth and arise now, for its time to plunge their world in sorrow!
[ Dark Death ] ”
The moment that Mira cast this attack, the earth started to rumble and unstoppable air currents began forming in the air creating a vacuum tornado that seemed to pull everything in its path towards the dark pit that had opened up in the ground below.
The five white dragons tried to first fly away from the area of effect of Mira’s spell in an attempt to save their lives, but their mighty wings made very little progress to get away from the vacuum that Mira had created, hence they decided to change strategies.
Unfortunately for them, there was no way to break this spell and all their attempts were for naught.
Soon dark fog began to spiral alongside the vacuum tornadoes, rising up as it clung onto the legs of the white dragons and soon spread all over their bodies.
The dragon’s struggled violently, however, little by little they were dragged down into the earth below as their wild dragon’s breath attacks and other attempts to disrupt the spell by using wind based attacks ended up as failure.
The fog paralysed their bodies and slowly but surely dragged them into the depths of the earth in front of thousands of other dragon’s to watch as the earth below slowly re-sealed itself delivering a painful yet dark death to all five.
” THAT’S MY GIRL- ” Rhea shouted from somewhere in the distance as Mira let out a primal roar that shook every single dragon on the battlefield to their core.
*******
( Rudra’s POV )
Rudra was watching the battle unfold with great curiosity and was especially captivated by the battle of the dragon’s.
It was always fascinating to watch such colossal killing machines tearing each other apart, however, the move usage and fighting style of Max’s mount Mira made a mark on his mind.
Rudra could not help but be envious of her natural talents, if he only had such an infinite reserve of mana he could be a lot more dangerous.
However, that feeling of envy passed away as fast as it came as it was replaced by a sense of concern for his brother.
His first girlfriend already had a fiery temper, but while that was moderate, it seemed like his mount who was also seeking him out as a partner was even more aggressive in nature.
” Max, is this really your type? ” Rudra questioned as he scratched his cheek and watched Mira send 5 dragon’s to their dark deaths.
