Chapter 662 Not On My Cowardly Watch
Khnum woke up all groggy and disoriented.
He was having a splitting headache as he woke up inside Angakok’s body.
Angakok’s body was not what it seemed to be on the surface.
The Shaman God was no different from a Frankenstein, who had a lot of major organs replaced from his original body.
His liver, kidneys, heart and muscle tissues were all taken from a myriad of different legendary beasts.
While Angakok seemed perfectly normal on the surface, apparently internally the Shaman God was a patched up work of several different creatures.
Of Course this arrangement had more merits than demerits, Angakok’s body performed at a level far greater than any pure individual would, but it also meant that Khnum needed to take more time to acclimatise to it.
The feeling of the raw power coursing through his muscles, the strength of the bones, the youthful visage, it was all very refreshing for Khnum, but he needed more time to adjust to his new body before he could learn how to control it properly.
Stumbling out of his pod, Khnum chuckled as he splashed around on the floor, struggling to get to his feet as he looked towards the pod where his old body was placed and sighed with relief that he was able to discard it.
” The sea god is back! The sea god has the strength to reign supreme once more.
It’s time to revive the ocean monarchy! Hahaha ” Khnum shouted in exhilaration, he was absolutely delighted to have gained a few thousand extra years to live and was making grand plans to make a grand return to the Universal stage that he had left for retirement hundreds of years ago.
” First, let’s kill that bastard shaman god in his slumber…. ” Khnum said as he walked very slowly towards Max’s pod and moved all his fingers one after another to get a feel of its power.
Once he was confident in his muscle coordination, standing straight above Max’s face, Khnum began to conjure a pool of water.
His goal was to create a water blade and slice Max’s neck in half using this pool of water as he slowly began shaping the water into a razor sharp blade of ice.
” So long tyrant…. ” Khnum said as he sent the blade hurtling towards Max’s defenceless neck, expecting it to end the boy and Angakok’s life in an instant.
Naturally, this outcome did not happen as the blade hit a wall of wind before it could reach Max’s neck, as a gust of wind then sent Khnum flying away from Max’s pod.
” I always thought I’m a cowardly bastard, but you Khnum can give me a run for my money ” a voice that Khnum recognised very well said as the sea god looked towards the source of the voice with pure disgust.
” KREMETH YOU OLD TURTLE BASTARD ” Khnum said as he grit his teeth so hard that Kremeth could hear the grinding sound although he was a 100 metres away.
” Stay away from my disciple ” Kremeth said as he took a fighting stance.
” You don’t understand you fool, your disciple is as good as gone, but if Angakok that bastard wakes up, he will kill both of us! ” Khnum said as he tried his best to coax Kremeth into joining him, however, his tricks were useless on the original coward.
” No – touching – my – boy ” Kremeth emphasised as he made it clear that if Khnum wanted to kill Max he needed to go through him first.
” Don’t underestimate me in my new body you wind controlling turtle ” Khnum said as he condensed a hell lot of water from the moisture in the air and prepared to engage Kremeth. .𝘤𝘰𝑚
In response, Kremeth conjured a storm of his own and prepared to ward off Khnum.

( Meanwhile Angakok and Max )
Angakok was down on his chips, in front of Max’s absurd ability to regenerate he found himself backed into a corner.
His powers had regressed to the tier 7 level and using a tier7 attack at this level of strength would mean that he would regress to tier6 strength pretty quickly if things went south.
However, using a big attack was his only chance at beating Max and taking over his body, which is why he tried to have faith and put all of his effort into a hail mary attempt to kill Max’s consciousness.
Max, who had began to understand the laws of the soul space did not wait idly as Angakok used his next move as he too unleashed his own divine attack in the form of [ Primal Domain ] and covered all the immediate area around him, including the part where Angakok stood under his absolute control.
Instantly, Angakok felt his soul force depleting at a much exaggerated rate than before the moment he came into contact with Max’s domain type skill as Max manipulated the time aspect of the domain and sped it up so that Angakok’s rate of soul force loss could be increased.
” A domain type skill? How unusual for a tier6 god like you to possess one, Ha- what a freak of nature have I created? ” Angakok said as he chuckled in disbelief at the level of strength Max had reached and how much of an anomaly he had become.
Domain type skills were the rarest skills in the universe and while all god’s had an inherent domain skill with their aura expression, the skill that Max had which was able to manipulate all the different laws of nature was a skill that even monarchs would kill for.
However, possessing such abilities made Max an even more precious target for Angakok to take over.
He was everything he wanted and then even more as a body and seeing all his great skills made Angakok want his body that much more badly.
” It’s a cute skill, but I’ve got a domain skill of my own, ” Angakok said as he activated his own domain type move that overlapped and pushed back Max’s skill.
[ Shaman god’s Domain ]
Controlling the laws of darkness, void and space the Shaman God’s Domain was a move that controlled two laws that were different to Max’s domain skill while negating his spacial skill ability.
With this skill activated, the battle between the two reached a whole another level.
