Chapter 591 Thalion Fights Back
As Thalion struggled back to his feet and gathered his wits, The once peaceful forest edge behind him bustled with the sound of marching footsteps and tightening bow strings.
His Greengale Phantoms legion was finally here! The frontlines had already crossed the forest and the rest were right behind them.
Without any Bloodfall resistance to stop them here, they could now cross the entire plain and the swamp in 40-60 minutes and raid the fort where the orb was being kept.
” CHARGE! THERE ARE NO ENEMIES HERE ” Thalion shouted as he urged his men to make the best of this opportunity and make a run towards enemy lands when suddenly the earth started to rumble and a nauseous putrid scent filled the air.
Thalion scanned the surroundings and his gaze landed on Sebastian, who was now standing far from his reach, conjuring an army of undead with a mere flick of his fingers.
Thalion couldn’t help but grimace as he watched hundreds of thousands of undead soldiers rise from the ground, ready to face off against the approaching Greengale Phantoms.
The necromantic magic had given birth to a vast and diverse undead force – skeletal soldiers with corroded armors, long-forgotten durahals, undead archers who still retained their precise aim, undead mages who floated in the air, and of course, those damned suicide bombers who caused massive destruction before they perished once more.
Sebastian’s Necromancer’s Ring shimmered eerily under the crimson sky. Thalion felt a chill creep down his spine – he had never faced an opponent capable of amassing such an army instantly.
” Who the fuck is that dwarf? Why is a cowardly small mortal capable of raising an undead army that will put even tier6 necromancer’s to shame? ” Thalion wondered as nothing about the behaviour of the small dwarf made sense to him.
Thinking about his capabilities and his actions just moments ago, his confusion only deepened? If he was so strong why the hell was he rolling on the ground in front of him and if he was a necromancer then why the fuck would he attack him close range with a sword? Was the dwarf dumb or was this the way the light faction necromancers fought?
Either way, it did not matter for now as it seemed like there would be no easy March for the Greengale Phantoms. They would need to hack their way through this sea of troops to get to their destination.
As Thalion was pondering all this, he was quickly shaken out of his thoughts by a sharp arrow zipping past him which he narrowly dodged, this was the third time that the Archer had blindsided him and he was feeling very irritated.
Turning his head, he found its source and was shockingly surprised as he actually recognised the figure who shot the arrows.
It was Anna! the light elven princess, the spawn of the elven monarch.
“I’ve heard of you,” Thalion called out, keeping his eyes trained on her, “You have a pretty hefty price on your head, princess. Did you know that?”
Anna frowned slightly, not responding.
Thalion laughed, “Fifty billion gold coins, to be exact. The Dark Elven Sovereign, Elegast, has personally set it. They want you alive, though.”
“Why?” Anna shot back, her grip tightening on her bow.
“Well, the plan is to turn you into a concubine,” Thalion said with a sneer, “To breed more mix breed elves who could become puppets for the dark faction. An ideal way to humiliate your father.
If you want we can make one baby tonight”
Anna’s face hardened, she was repulsed by Thalions words to her core. As a child she often wondered if the dark elves were as despicable as her father told her they were, but now as she met the third dark elven prince in flesh she knew that they were exactly as her father made them to be.
Disgusting people rotten to their very core!
Anna refused to let Thalion’s words shake her, she knew this was an idol provocation and maintained her focus as she said “Your words won’t deter me, dark prince. Neither you, nor your father has the ability to capture me alive ”
“Let’s see if your arrows are as sharp as your tongue then,” Thalion retorted, drawing an arrow from his quiver.
And with that, their duel began. Anna launched her first attack, [ Rainbow Shot ], and immediately a rain of arrows as thick as lances aimed directly at Thalion fell from the sky.
Even though this attack was better suited for immobilising legions and act as armour piercing rounds, she managed to alter it to focus all arrows on one target – Thalion.
However, Thalion was not a Tier6 warrior for no reason. He manipulated his divine essence, and a barrier of pure energy formed around him, blocking Anna’s arrows effortlessly
Not giving her a moment to recover, he retaliated with his own special move.
[Dark Enigma Volley]
The arrow he shot split into countless others in the air, each one sharper and faster, all homing in on Anna.
Anna tried to nimbly sidestep the attack, but their speed and accuracy were too much for her to handle as three shots found their way to her body piercing her right shoulder, left shin and grazing her abdomen. ov𝚕.co𝚖

Anna rapidly lost HP as the difference in power was evident.
Witnessing this, DarkSorrow and Severus sprang into action. DarkSorrow launched a ferocious attack at Thalion, while Severus sent out ultrasonic waves to throw off his balance. This allowed Anna a moment’s respite, but Thalion was not so easily subdued.
With a snarl, he shrugged off their attacks, eyes burning with anger and resolve, “Your tricks won’t work on me, you maggots!”
The fight was far from over, but the tide had clearly turned in Thalion’s favour.
Anna knew that at this rate they could hold on against Thalion for barely 5-7 minutes more, after that it would get too close for comfort.
Max needed to finish up his fight in the sky and be here by the next 7 minutes by the latest, because if not then they would be dead meat.
