Chapter 85 Darkness Kingdom
“Mr. Famir, I want to Buy an intermediate Grade Instance Dungeon,” Vlad said calmly and waited for Alex’s reaction to his demand. 𝘰𝑣𝘭.𝗇𝓔t
‘He is asking big without caring about the consequences of his request, and here I thought he would try to establish a good friendship with the organization before requesting big.’ Alex thought after hearing Vlad’s request.
‘If he wants an intermediate Grade Instance Dungeon, then I will give him one but let’s see how much he is willing to pay to acquire it.’ Alex thought.
Alex only planned to get the legacy item he wanted from Vlad and give him some generous benefits in exchange, but even giving a few entry tokens of an intermediate instance dungeon for a legacy item was generous, let alone the complete dungeon.
“Mr. Vlad, What are you willing to give in exchange for the instance dungeon?” Alex questioned to get an idea of what Vlad was offering to decide on a plan.
“I am open to negotiating a reasonable deal that could benefit my guild and the organization,” Vlad replied with a smile.
‘I was hoping he could give me a reasonable offer that I can work on, but now I need to think about something on my own.’ Alex thought.
Alex didn’t want to reject Vlad’s request because his guild was fourth in ranking and had enough strength and influence to match the top three guilds easily, and having a good relationship with him would only benefit him in the long run.
“Please give me a few minutes to discuss your request with my superior,” Alex said as he opened his system panel to pretend he was discussing with his superior on chat.
After pretending for a few minutes, Alex closed the system window as he decided to make a simple offer to acquire the legacy item and a few free resources.
“Mr. Vlad, The organization is willing to sell you a Peak intermediate Grade Instance Dungeon, and its price is the Staff of Starfall and half the resources you would acquire from the instance dungeon,” Alex said, stating his request.
‘I don’t think he knows the value of the Staff of Starfall, so what is he thinking so deeply about?’ Alex thought, seeing Vlad silently thinking after hearing his offer.
The offer Alex gave Vlad was very reasonable, even though he needed to share half the resources and give a guaranteed legacy item linked to a [SS/SSS] Rank legacy.
The Magic Staff Alex wanted was a middle-grade legendary staff, but its stats were even worse than a middle-quality Unique grade item, but the magic staff’s real value was that it was a guaranteed part of a legacy item.
Alex knew the real value of the magic staff because he knew how to complete the complete legacy item, while Vlad had no idea what to do with the magic staff, so to him, it was just a useless legendary item that he should happily exchange to gain half the resources of an instance dungeon.
“Mr. Famir, I am happy with your offer and willing to accept it, but before we agree to a deal, I have a small request,” Vlad said, and seeing Alex nod his head, he started explaining his request.
“I believe your organization is more interested in the Staff of Starfall than the instances dungeon resources, and I also understand that giving 50% of the dungeon resources for just the magic staff is already a generous offer.”
“But I would like to make a counteroffer for the complete ownership of the Instance dungeon,” Vlad said and calmly waited for Alex’s reply.
‘It is obvious that my main demand is the Staff of Starfall, but what else he could offer to get the complete instance dungeon.’ Alex thought.
Alex was not worried that Vlad wouldn’t sell him the Starfall staff because he knew the magic staff was useless to Vlad, and selling it for a good amount of resources that could give his guild numerous benefits was the beast deal.
“What are you willing to offer for the complete rights to the instance dungeon,” Alex asked, knowing he would get offered some incomplete legacy items.
“I have seven incomplete legacy items with their item quality ranging between Peak unique to Peak Legendary, and depending on the organization’s choice, I am willing to give a maximum of three of those items for the complete ownership of the dungeon,” Vlad said.
‘He would only offer me incomplete legacy items that even his guild can’t find any information about, possibly making them useless for me, but let’s see them before making a decision.’ Alex thought, hoping to find a gem as he was not interested in the instances dungeon’s resources.
“You could send me the details on all seven items, and in a few weeks, I will give you the answer if the organization wants to accept your counter deal or not,” Alex said as he anonymously opened the system exchange panel.
“I would wait for the reply from the organization,” Vlad said as he sent some videos and pictures to Alex.
“It was a pleasure meeting you, and if you or the organization ever needs something from my guild, then please contact me,” Vlad said as he stood up, ready to leave.
After a quick conversation, Badger and Vlad left the room, but before leaving, they gave Alex a bottle of Royal Elven wine as a gift.
‘I need to wait for a few minutes before I can leave this room, so in that time, let’s check the incomplete legacy items Vlad is offering.’ Alex thought as he started checking the incomplete legacy items.
‘This thing is real?’ Alex questioned himself after just checking the first item.
……….
Name: Unknown Heart (5)
ingredient (???): (???)
Quality: Legendary (???)
Grade:: (???)
Description: An Unknown Heart with an Unknown use case.
……….
‘This looks real.’ Alex thought, watching the videos showing the unknown heart.
‘I never thought I would find the speculated fifth Heart of the Beast Monarch before acquiring the four pieces I have information about.’ Alex thought with a broad smile.
Alex was so surprised and delighted after seeing the unknown heart because he only knew the location of the four known hearts, as the fifth heart was never discovered even though players knew it existed.
Alex planned to gather the four unknown hearts because a player could get a broken legacy after consuming them, and he wanted his future organization member to have it.
The Beast Monarch legacy was a low [SSS] Rank legacy, and to acquire it, one needed to consume the unknown hearts in the correct number sequence.
If someone eats any heart other than the first numbered heart, he will die an agonizing death while losing all the progress and being subjected to terrible curses that would make gaining strength very difficult.
The Beast Monarch Legacy gave its holder tremendous strength and broken abilities, but with the advantages, there was also a disadvantage in the start as after a player ate the first piece of heart and acquired the legacy, a death countdown would start.
If the player couldn’t eat the second numbered heart in time, his end would be cruel, as he would get his game avatar permanently killed without being able to do anything to stop it.
Alex planned to find all four hearts before giving them to the perfect candidate because it would solve the only problem with the Beast Monarch legacy.
All players had different opinions about the Beast Monarch’s legacy, if it was special or cursed, but everyone agreed that it was completely broken and gave its holder very unfair advantages.
‘The decision to meet with Vlad paid off greatly.’ Alex thought as he happily closed the system window even though the other six incomplete legacy items were worthless to him.
‘It’s time for me to get my legacy.’ Alex thought as he changed back to his original appearance, also changing his fake armor to his real armor.
Alex placed a few coins on the table, then used the service bell, and then used his invisibility skill, and the moment the hotel staff lady came to ask for his request, he sneakily exited the room from the wide open door.
Alex left the room in such an absurd way because he didn’t want to risk someone following him around while keeping tabs on his location.
After leaving the hotel, Alex walked straight to the teleportation building, and after reaching close to it, he found a dark ally and canceled his invisibility before casually walking into the crowded building.
Alex went straight to the VIP area and bought the VIP teleportation service, and within a few minutes, he was teleported to Darkness kingdom’s capital city.
‘The Capital City [Siniawis] weather always feels artificial to me.’ Alex thought, looking at the cloudy sky as he stood outside the teleportation building in the darkness kingdom’s capital city.
The weather in the Capital City, Siniawis, was always heavily cloudy, and by seeing such weather, every new visitor would believe that heavy rain would start at any moment, but rain rarely ever happened.
‘I won’t be surprised if the Royal family is behind this unusual phenomenon.’ Alex thought, taking a few deep breaths to enjoy the refreshing air.
‘I feel giddy knowing I would be obtaining a [SSS] legacy in just a few hours.’ Alex thought with a bright smile, amazed at how much things had changed for him in the past two months.
