Chapter 79 Preparation
[“I want to do exactly that, but I want some advice from you so I won’t mess up my image or my friendly relation with the organization.”] Badger said quickly, clearing his intention.
‘I don’t know what he wants, but with the image I have created of my fake organization in front of him, it won’t be anything simple if he is worried about messing up his relationship with the organization.’
‘I can always decline his request if it is troublesome to get, but if it is easy to acquire, then I could consider the deal if he gives me some good benefits.’ Alex thought.
[“Badger If your request is related to asking for more high Ranking Legacies, then I would strongly suggest that you do not even make that request because it will get declined no matter what you offer the organization in exchange.”] Alex said.
Alex wasn’t going to sell Badger any more high-Ranking legacies because the legacies he could acquire using his future knowledge were numbered.
Alex knew that the legacies were a form of currency he could use to acquire things he wanted from highly influential people that were otherwise impossible to get.
[“My request is not related to buying any more legacies as even I know that they hold tremendous value to any organization and they are impossible to acquire by just searching for them.”]
[“I want to introduce someone to the organization, and I want your advice on that.”] Badger said, and then there was total silence for a few seconds.
‘I knew many people from real life and game would try to contact the organization, but I was expecting it to happen after I complete the deal with Badger and Hecate.’ Alex thought after hearing Badger’s request.
[“If you want to introduce someone to the organization, then do it but don’t be surprised if the organization declines to do any business with that individual.”] Alex replied, maintaining the image of his fake organization.
[“The individual I want to introduce to the organization is the guild leader of “Chosen Champions.”] Badger didn’t take offense to Alex’s statement and revealed the person he wanted to introduce.
‘I was expecting him to introduce someone with vast influence in the real world but not a giant from the game who rules the fourth Ranked guild.’
After hearing the guild name, Alex was surprised and happy because he planned to make a deal with Chosen Champions guild in the near future to acquire a legacy item that was in their possession.
‘This is quite an unexpected opportunity, but do I need to meet the Rampaging Giant to get the legacy item I want?’ Alex questioned as he remembered information from his previous life about the Chosen Champions guild master Vlad. π»πΌπ―πΉοΌπ¨πΏπ΄
Vlad was a [SSS] Rank legacy holder with vast influence both in-game and in the real world and was feared by even his own guild members because of his angry nature.
‘I am meeting with Badger, so meeting Vlad at the same time is a good choice as it would save me from a lot of future hassle I need to go through to get the legacy item from his guild.’ After thinking over the situation, Alex decided to meet with Vlad.
[“Badger, I don’t know much about Vlad, the Chosen Champions guild leader, but I know he is very short-tempered, and some players say he also has a superiority complex.”]
[“If you could trust him that he would not do anything stupid when he meets the officer from the organization, then you could introduce him, but if you can’t trust him, then I will advise you to drop the idea.”] Alex said, giving Badger the advice he wanted from him.
[“Mr.One, Thanks for the advice,”] Badger said.
[“Badger, Good Luck in your future endeavors,”] Alex said as he closed the call.
‘I should quickly buy the Null Ring and find the person I will change my appearance to for this meeting.’ Alex thought.
The Null Ring Alex wanted to buy was a unique item made exclusively by the adventurer guild, and it had two major skills that he needed to complete his plan.
The Ring only has two skills and doesn’t give any other boost, but those two skills are very valuable and helpful in certain situations.
The first skill was [Fake Aura], and the second was [Block Appraisal], both of which were useless in actual combat, but they were tailored to deceive someone.
Alex planned to use a completely different appearance for this meeting because he wanted to use this opportunity to solidify the image of his fake organization.
To execute his plan flawlessly, Alex was going to complete the deal with Badger and Hecate as a high-ranking officer from the organization.
The officer with a high-Ranking position in the organization couldn’t be a Rank one weakling, so he was going to use the Null ring skill Fake Aura to change his natural aura of Rank one warrior to a peak Rank three warrior.
“Let’s get going,” Alex said as he looked at his little vulture lying on his back, not moving an inch.
Alex placed his vulture into the beast companion space and left his room toward his destination, the adventurer guild.
—————
After a short walk, Alex reached the adventurer guild branch and purchased the Null Ring and a Second Rank illusion scroll without trouble.
‘This item is useful, but the price of twenty thousand merit points is just too much.’ Alex thought, looking at the silver ring with a star pattern engraved on it.

‘I should use the illusion scroll to change the ring appearance and quickly search for the person whose appearance I will be using.’ Alex used the illusion scroll to change the Ring’s silver appearance to that of a plain pitch-black ring.
Alex changed its appearance because the Null Ring was quite a popular item among players, even though very few players could afford it, and he didn’t want Hecate or Vlad to recognize the ring, which would destroy the well-established image of his organization.
Alex didn’t need to worry about his armor as he had bought a few sets of fake cloth armor that didn’t give any stat boost but looked nice when worn, and he was using those fake cloth armor every time he changed his appearance.
Alex left the area, and after searching the city’s inner circle, he found an NPC that he recorded as a Specimen and then left toward the hotel to book a private room for the meeting.
After reaching the hotel, Alex rented the room using his noble badge because being a noble gives him the privilege of not revealing his identity.
Alex was using his noble badge to not reveal his identity because he knew that even though the world was huge and looking for a certain player was close to impossible, finding the locations a player visited was relatively easy.
Alex didn’t want to leave a trail of evidence that would directly lead to him while he did business with the game giants using the image of his organization.
Alex knew that everyone who knew about the organization would try to uncover its secrets, and his presence at every meeting location would lead to a big blunder that he didn’t want to handle.
‘Let’s get comfortable with my new body and the character of someone with authority.’ Alex thought, standing in the newly rented room in his new appearance.
Alex’s new name was [Famir], while his new appearance was that of a 6.3ft lean man with a handsome face and long light blue hair that reached his shoulders.
While Alex was stretching his body to get comfortable with it, a Beastmen lady stood in the room corner in plain sight, watching his shenanigan with no visible emotions.
‘Little Nachtor, You should go and do some training with your fellow subordinates, and I can keep watch on this human.’ An Old voice echoed in the room, but Alex heard nothing.
An old man with a long beard, big crystal horns on his head, and a crystal cane in his hand appeared next to lady Nachtor without making any disturbance.
‘Master, What do you think about this weak human.’ Lady Nachtor asked, removing the dark mask covering her face.
‘He is an interesting little kid with some great fortune and good talent among humans but other than that, I don’t think he is anything special.’ The old man replied as he looked toward Alex with his crystal-like clear eyes.
‘I will stay for a few more hours as he is meeting some other people to discuss business, and I want to know what he is planning.’ Lady Nachtor replied.
‘You need to focus on your training and not waste time on useless things.’ The old man said as he vanished from the room.
