"It's is because I love you. This incident made me realise that I love you more than I think. Jasmine asked with a frown. It was after she spoke Jackson realised that he was wrong big time.

"Love me even more," Jackson interrupted her before she could finish her sentence.

"I am sorry that your man is so timid. Honestly, I am scared. I am afraid that you might suddenly realise that you didn't love me as much as you think now that your first love is back. I am terrified that those against our union might make you regret loving me. The fact that you might suddenly leave me scares me out of my wits," Jackson said honestly.

For the first, he mustered up the courage to say the words he has hidden in his heart.

"I am sure of how I feel about you. I know that there is nothing that will make me give up on you in this lifetime but I am not sure of what you think," Jackson said while staring into her eyes.

"Ice Prince, it's true I loved Nicholas a lot but he proved that he never deserved me or my love. Nicholas is my past while you are my present. Don't ruin the happiness you felt when he was never around. Don't give him the pleasure to ruin our relationship because I am sure that is what he is after," Jasmine said in a mellowed tone.

None of them utter a word after she said this. They only lay on the bed and stare at each other.
