Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

"Liza, what the heck are you talking about?" Alfred asked sharply. Panic struck him on hearing her mention getting a divorce.

Maybe if she had said these words in the past, he would have been happy to divorce her but right now he loves her a lot. He would never want to divorce her.

"Divorce? Who is getting a divorce and what did you mean by I will be happy with her? What nonsense are you suddenly spewing Liza?" Alfred asked as he held her hands once again.

"It's not nonsense but the truth. You wouldn't have given her the necklace with yours and her initials on it if you did not love her. God knows what you both did behind my back on that day....,"

"Liza, please don't say that because you are breaking my heart by saying all these hurtful words. I would never do anything that will hurt you, believe me," Alfred said as he caressed her hands.

"But you have already done that when you gave her that diamond necklace with both of your initials and a heart on it. I feel so heartbroken and betrayed. I mean I gave you not only my body but my heart so why do you still dislike me?" Elizabeth asked as warm tears trickled down her face.

"Liza, I have never done anything to break your trust in me, believe me. I don't know what you are talking about so please stop crying hmm," Alfred said as he raised his hand and cleaned her tears.

"You did and I will not forgive you for this," Elizabeth said as she pushed his hands away from her body. She lay down before Alfred could say anything.

Since Alfred did not have an idea about what she was talking about, he did not know how to explain himself. He so much wanted to tell her that she is the one he loves right now but he knew that in this state that she will never believe whatever he said. He left her alone and went downstairs to work so he won't disturb her.

Everything went smoothly for everyone including Jasmine and Jackson for a month. Their relationship got to a new level. Everything was just going perfectly until the uninvited people surfaced in their lives. The only people who were still having problems was Alfred and his wife.

Today just like every other day, Jackson and Jasmine were having lunch in a restaurant when she heard someone call her name from afar.

She recognised the owner of the voice but she thought that maybe she was imagining things so she did not raise her head to stare in the direction she heard her name.

It has been over five years since she set eyes on the owner of the voice that is why she thought that it was impossible that it was him. Anyways she did not hear news about his return which is why she did not believe that the person was talking to her.

"Jasmine," She heard her name for the second time but the voice wasn't far away this time around but very close by.

Without raising her gaze she knew that someone was standing beside her and this was because of the shadow that fell on the table.

She slowly raised her gaze to see who it was. Jasmine froze when her gaze met the smiling face of the guy standing close to her.

Jackson whose gaze was on her noticed the change in her expression on setting eyes on the guy.

"Jasmine, I am back," The guy said when she did not say anything but only stares at him. Despite that the guy has spoken two times, Jasmine just couldn't get over the shock.

What the hell is going on here? I wonder who the jerk is that he possesses the ability to leave my woman so shocked.

Jackson thought as his eyes darted from Jasmine to the guy in red blazers who had a touch of white. He did not know what to say to break off the connection between them.

"Nicholas?" Jasmine remarked in shock. The guy smiled when he heard her call his name.

"It has been so many years. I can't believe that my name still sounds the best whenever it is you who called me," Nicholas said not caring that Jasmine had a partner.

Who does he think he is that he has the guts to flirt with my woman in my presence?

Jackson thought as his grip around the cutlery tightened.

"Jasmine, I came back just for you," Nicholas said shamelessly. Maybe his shameless attitude contributed to why Jasmine looked so surprised.

He was shocked when Jasmine suddenly stood up and embrace him. The cutlery in Jackson's hand fell on the plate. Jasmine embraced him tightly only to pull away soon.

"Why did you take so long? How could you have done that to me? You hurt me yet you left me all alone. You are bad," Jasmine said as she hit his chest gently.

Jackson was stunned to see Jasmine acting this way in public with so many eyes staring at them but the guy whom Jasmine was talking to was more shocked.

What has come over her? Does this mean I still have not only a place in her heart but her life?

Nicholas thought as he stare at the lady whose hands were on his chest.

"Although I hated you for doing that to me since you are back I have forgiven you,", Jasmine said as her sudden painful expression turned to a smile.

"Really?" Nicholas asked in shock.

"Was that what you expected when you told me you were back Mr Nicholas Donald?" Jasmine asked as she pulled away from him. Her expression took 180 degrees turn.
