"Madam, we’ve thought it through. We are not afraid of death! We are also willing to die to protect Master, Madam, Xiaoze, and Ningning. As long as we sisters are around, we won’t let anything happen to your family!" Xiang Ling and Xiang Xue said seriously.

"Alright, since that’s the case, you can follow us! I can’t guarantee that nothing will happen to you in the future, but as long as I, Mo Jiuli, am alive, I will strive to protect you!" Mo Jiuli looked at Xiang Ling and Xiang Xue and promised.

"Thank you, Master, Madam!" Xiang Ling and Xiang Xue said happily.

"Alright, stand up!" Mo Jiuli said.

"Have you told the Dean about this?" Mo Jiuli asked, as though something just occurred to him.

"Yes, Dad and Uncle Qi support our decision. They said they will handle the Academy’s matters and gradually follow our steps to Cloud Peak," Xiang Xue said.

"Good, that’s settled! You two go inside to watch over Ningning while we check on the Dean and the others!" Mo Jiuli considered and then said.

"Yes, Madam!" The sisters heard this and returned to the room. They saw Ningning, who was brought back by Mo Jiuli and was asleep. They sat nearby to guard him.

Mo Jiuli and Di Minghan arrived at Dean Pang’s courtyard but realized the two weren’t there. Thinking of Dean Lin and Elder Dan, they headed directly to the Academy’s entrance, where Elder Qi used to stay in the small courtyard...

They happened to see Dean Pang, Dean Lin, Elder Qi, and Elder Dan—all four were present. When Mo Jiuli and Di Minghan arrived, the four were momentarily stunned before promptly inviting Di Minghan and Mo Jiuli inside.

Over these three years, Dean Lin, Elder Dan, and the others have grown accustomed to Di Minghan as their master, and interactions have long ceased to be awkward. Di Minghan informed them they needn’t call him ’master’ at all times, but could approach him if issues arose, and should not disrupt his peace otherwise—they are free to do as they wish!

"Transfer? Can you really transfer back and forth at will?" Mo Jiuli asked curiously upon hearing this.

"Of course! Do you think just anyone can be the Dean of Yuhai Academy? To become a Dean, you need to be appointed by Cloud Peak’s Yuhai Academy! Otherwise, even if someone kills me and Dean Pang and substitutes us in the Academy, they wouldn’t gain the Dean’s authority and resources!" Elder Qi smiled upon hearing this.

"I see, then make the arrangements. That way, when Xiang Ling and Xiang Xue follow us to Cloud Peak, they can frequently see you!" Mo Jiuli said upon hearing this.
