Minecraft: The Conqueror of Multiverse

Chapter 87 MonsterVerse (2) (Bonus)

  • Next Chapter

Deep in the Antarctic ice, King Ghidorah woke up cranky. The three-headed alien dragon instantly wiped out the Monarch strike team sent to stop it. Modern military hardware bounced right off its scales, completely failing to leave a dent.

Godzilla surged from the ocean depths, throwing down with Ghidorah in a brutal brawl that dragged from the coastline straight back into the sea. It was a dead heat until the military panicked and dropped the Oxygen Destroyer on the battlefield. Godzilla caught the worst of the blast, totally tanking his combat power, and Ghidorah left the big guy critically wounded and sinking into the abyss.

The Oxygen Destroyer was a nasty piece of work. It used a volatile electromagnetic reaction to violently purge all oxygen from the water, liquefying the cells of any living thing caught in the crossfire. A single drop could completely sterilize a two-mile aquatic kill zone. But unlike Godzilla, Ghidorah was an invasive alien species. The weapon didn’t do a damn thing to it.

With Godzilla out of the picture, Ghidorah claimed the alpha crown. The three-headed terror sent out a global rallying cry to awaken the rest of the Titans, gearing up to burn the modern world to ash and drag Earth back to the Stone Age.

Right on cue, with Vane pulling the strings, Apex Cybernetics made a wildly public debut. They unleashed Mechagodzilla. In its very first deployment, the metal titan hunted down Scylla—that massive, spider-like monstrosity tearing up the Arizona oil fields—and put it in the ground. For the first time, humanity actually saw a glimmer of hope against the Titans.

But the newly crowned King Ghidorah wasn’t about to let that slide. The golden dragon descended from the storm clouds, dragging MUTO Prime and a posse of other Titans along to jump Mechagodzilla. In a one-on-one fight, the mech held a solid edge. But against a coordinated monster mob? It didn’t stand a chance. The mechanical marvel was quickly overwhelmed and ripped to shreds.

Just as global despair hit rock bottom and the military was nervously thumbing the launch codes to try and revive Godzilla with a nuke, Vane made his move. Tapping into his hoarded stockpile, he cashed in his materials and began mass-producing Mechagodzillas by the batch.

When literally hundreds of Mechagodzillas stomped onto the battlefield, humanity wasn’t the only one left speechless. Even Ghidorah and its Titan squad completely froze, their collective monster brains malfunctioning at the sight.

“What the hell is going on?” Walter gasped from the safety of the command center. He stared at the live feed, his jaw practically hitting the floor.

He was dead sure the company had only built one unit. How were there suddenly hundreds of them?!

Meanwhile, Monarch and the world governments were caught between sheer awe and absolute terror. With an army of mechanized Godzillas that huge, never mind the Titans—even if the entire planet pooled its military might, they’d be completely screwed! Sure, the mechs were here to fight the monsters, but if they suddenly turned on humanity, it would be game over!

Under the watchful, terrified eyes of the entire world, the mechanized Godzilla legion roared a deafening challenge at the newly minted Titan King. Faced with hundreds of these metal colossi, Ghidorah was hopelessly outgunned. Even if it had eighty heads instead of three, it still would’ve gotten absolutely curbstomped.

Amidst an endless chorus of mechanical roars, the Mechagodzilla army simultaneously unleashed their Proton Screams. Dozens of blinding, crimson energy beams lit up half the sky, skewering Ghidorah right out of the air as the dragon desperately tried to take flight.

SCREEEEEONK!

Screaming in agony, the alien dragon plummeted from the sky, its massive wings blasted into a ragged mess. The Mechagodzillas swarmed the crash site like hyper-lethal ants, tearing Ghidorah limb from limb and ensuring the alien stayed dead for good. MUTO Prime and the other Titans who had tagged along to back up their boss were swiftly and brutally put down alongside it.

Humanity had claimed ultimate victory in the Clash of the Titans.

In the aftermath, Apex Cybernetics became overnight legends, stepping up as the undisputed representatives of mankind. Utilizing the ORCA device to communicate with the remaining friendly Titans, they brokered an unprecedented global peace treaty.

As for the hostile Titans who refused to play ball? They were systematically wiped out. That hit list included the Skar King—the tyrannical Titan Ape who had been enslaving Shimo down in the Hollow Earth. With the threats neutralized, humanity effectively unified the surface world and the subterranean Hollow Earth under one banner.

Meanwhile, Jonah and his gang of misanthropic eco-terrorists were dragged in front of an international tribunal to face the music.

However, the peaceful days didn’t last long. A massive dimensional portal abruptly tore open over the Pacific Ocean, vomiting Kaiju from another world right onto Earth’s doorstep. Vane rallied Godzilla, his loyal Titan allies, and the Mechagodzilla legion to meet the threat head-on. After a grueling, world-shaking war, they successfully crushed the invading Kaiju forces, completing the campaign and finally securing the MonsterVerse Mod.

Fully digesting the rush of imported memories, Vane cracked open his crafting menu, eager to see what exactly this MonsterVerse Mod brought to the table.

Burning Godzilla, Final Wars Godzilla, Godzilla Earth, SpaceGodzilla… Holy crap, it even has Godzilla Ultima?!

Vane rubbed his eyes, doing a double-take just to make sure he wasn’t hallucinating. But sure enough, Godzilla Ultima was right there on the crafting list. Final Wars Godzilla and Godzilla Earth already packed enough juice to glass a planet on their own, but the legendary Godzilla Ultima from Singular Point literally held the power to warp reality and reverse cause and effect. He definitely hadn’t expected the MonsterVerse run to yield such insanely high-tier loot for a relatively low-risk campaign.

Honestly, out of all the parallel universes he was currently diving into, the MonsterVerse had definitely paid out the most terrifying dividends. The loot from the Azur Lane and Dark Souls worlds had been undeniably thick, but they still felt a step behind this Kaiju goldmine.

Next time I dimension-hop, I’m heading straight for the Ultraman universe. I’m gonna show all those Kaiju who the real King of the Monsters is!

Gatanothor the Evil God, Etelgar the Master of the Spacetime Castle, Juda Spectre the Cosmic Demon—every single one of them is going to kneel at my feet and sing my praises!

Going multidimensional was absolutely the right call. Where else would I score these broken, god-tier mods?

Vane made a mental note: the second he wrapped up his current main quest and headed back to his Minecraft universe, he was going to craft a Godzilla Ultima just to stick in his museum as the ultimate flex.
