Minecraft: The Conqueror of Multiverse
Chapter 171 Speedrunning the Ultraman Universe—Here Come the Maniacs! (2)
Inside the enormous chamber floated a perfectly smooth white sphere.
It displayed absolutely no signs of life.
An invisible barrier surrounded the sphere, isolating it from any emotional influence that might affect its behavior.
“Should we transfer it to a prison in the Land of Light?”
Ultraman King turned toward Vane.
“We absolutely cannot allow something this dangerous to remain out in the universe.”
Vane shook his head.
“No need to make things so complicated. Let’s just get rid of it.”
He reached into his inventory and pulled out the One-Shot Axe.
Although this weapon had an attack damage of only one point, it possessed an absolute one-hit-kill effect that could not be copied.
It was practically tailor-made to deal with this particular creature.
“Traveler, If can replicate any attack and return it to its attacker.”
Ultraman King looked concerned.
“Are you certain you can destroy it?”
“Oh, come on, old man!”
Vane shot him a sideways glance.
“Are you seriously doubting me? Keep that up, and I’ll make you mine blocks in the void!”
“Uh…”
Ultraman King was speechless.
What a petty little guy!
Vane raised the axe, walked directly up to the white sphere, and swung.
THUNK!
The blade struck the sphere.
And…
Nothing happened.
The axe hadn’t even left a scratch on its perfectly smooth surface.
What the heck?
Ultraman King stared in complete confusion.
But in the very next instant…
POP!
The white sphere suddenly cracked apart.
Its entire body shattered into countless particles of light, which scattered through the air before disappearing completely.
Not a single trace remained.
The Perfect Life Form, If, had been completely erased from existence.
Ultraman King’s eyes widened in disbelief.
What just happened?!
If possesses the ability to perfectly replicate and reflect any attack!
And yet…
One swing?
That thing was destroyed by a single swing?!
At that moment, a notification appeared before Vane.
[Quest: Eliminate the Perfect Life Form, If — Completed]
[Quest Rewards: True Form Godzilla, Conquest Progress +15%, EMC Points +15,000]
“Another one down.”
Vane smiled with satisfaction.
“That brings my conquest progress to eighty percent. Just one more quest, and I’ll finally reach one hundred percent.”
He returned the One-Shot Axe to his inventory and examined his newly acquired Godzilla transformation.
True Form Godzilla was the most powerful form of Godzilla.
According to its setting, this version of Godzilla existed beyond conventional dimensions and possessed unimaginable power.
Its dimensional attributes were effectively limitless.
Its weight, body length, and height could all be freely adjusted, ranging from zero to infinity.
It could control darkness, light, time, power, laws, order, dimensions, and virtually every other aspect of existence.
It could ignore causality itself and freely rewrite timelines.
In some ways, it was practically equivalent to a Creator God.
Even its atomic breath could be adjusted from two billion degrees to a theoretically unlimited temperature, granting it enough destructive power to annihilate entire universes.
It also possessed a bizarre ability involving infinite dreams within dreams, allowing it to create countless universes inside its dreams, much like Azathoth.
“Well, doesn’t that mean I can just steamroll absolutely everything?!”
Vane was practically giddy.
Even Delacion, the creator of universes, is probably nothing more than a pushover at this point!
He pulled out his Item Locator Compass and began searching for his final conquest target.
After spinning for a few moments, the needle settled on a particular direction.
Vane immediately retrieved his Dimensional Pickaxe.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
He began hacking away at the barriers between dimensions, carving out a passage that stretched across multiple timelines.
“Let’s move!”
Taking the lead, Vane entered the tunnel.
The farther he dug, the thinner the dimensional barriers became.
Eventually, they disappeared altogether.
And just like that…
They arrived somewhere that contained absolutely nothing.
There was no space.
No time.
Only an endless void.
“Outsider.”
A voice suddenly echoed from every direction at once.
It was gentle, calm, and completely emotionless, as though the universe’s background radiation itself had begun speaking.
“Delacion?”
Vane glanced around.
“Where the heck are you? Come on out!”
“What brings you here, Outsider?”
A pure sphere of light appeared before them.
It possessed no color and radiated no warmth.
It was light in its most fundamental, primordial form.
“I’m here for you,” Vane answered.
“I want to fight you, beat the absolute crap out of you, and make you kneel on the ground and sing about how badly you got conquered.”
“Then you have already won.”
Delacion’s voice remained perfectly calm.
“I am not your enemy.”
“Huh…?”
Vane froze.
“Wait, what? We haven’t even started fighting yet!”
“You possess power that transcends the universe, Outsider.”
“I understand that all of this is merely a game to you.”
“No matter how hard I struggle, defeating you would be impossible.”
“Under those circumstances, surrendering is the more reasonable choice.”
“At the very least, the universe will not be destroyed by a battle between us.”
“Whatever fate you intend to impose upon me, I ask that you act quickly.”
“My only request is that you spare the innocent lives of this universe.”
Hearing Delacion’s response, Vane looked utterly speechless.
“Come on, seriously?”
“You’re taking all the fun out of this!”
“I haven’t even thrown a punch, and you’re already surrendering?”
“I was really looking forward to testing out True Form Godzilla!”
“That power is overwhelming,” Delacion replied calmly from within the sphere of light.
“I have absolutely no chance of winning.”
“Well, maybe you should at least give it a try.”
Vane was still unwilling to give up.
“Who knows? Maybe you’ll actually have a shot!”
Ultraman King: “…”
The Emperor: “…”
Daigo: “…”
Ibuki Mitsuishi: “…”
The guy already surrendered!
And you still won’t leave him alone?!
This maniac is literally just looking for entertainment to kill time!
Delacion said nothing.
The sphere of light simply hovered silently in the endless void, patiently awaiting Vane’s judgment.
“Man, being invincible really sucks.”
Vane sighed.
“Guess I’ll have to find something else to entertain myself.”
With that, he turned around and headed back toward the dimensional tunnel.
Just as he did, another notification appeared before his eyes.
[Quest: Defeat Delacion, Creator of the Universe — Completed]
[Quest Rewards: Conquest Progress +20%, EMC Points +15,000]
[Conquest Progress: 100%]
[Conquest Quest Completion: 100%]
[Conquest Progress has reached 100%. Successfully obtained Administrator Privileges for the Ultraman Universe and its associated mods.]
The moment the notification disappeared, a slowly rotating Command Block materialized out of thin air beside Vane.
He reached out and grabbed it.
Instantly, the entire history of the Ultraman universe flooded into his awareness.
Its past.
Its future.
Its laws and fundamental rules.
Everything was now under his control.
With a single thought, he could change absolutely anything.
“Honestly? This isn’t even that fun.”
Vane released his grip on the Command Block.
For the first time, he was beginning to understand old man Rick.
Being invincible really is boring.
Maybe I should find an opportunity to drag that crazy old bastard over here and force him to fight back against me.
That might actually be entertaining.
Rick Sanchez couldn’t defeat Vane.
But Rick was also the kind of stubborn bastard who would never willingly submit to someone else’s games.
Instead, he’d fight back using every dirty trick and underhanded method imaginable.
And that…
That might actually be a lot of fun.
With a single thought, Vane opened an enormous dimensional portal leading directly back to the Minecraft universe.
The moment he returned, the memories of his main body and projections synchronized.
A flood of information poured into his mind.
Memories from three different universes began rushing through his consciousness.
The Space King universe.
The Wandering Earth universe.
And the DOOM universe.
The first memories he processed came from the Space King universe.
—
The background of the Space King universe was actually pretty straightforward.
A mighty Space King, clad in enormous golden power armor, had led an army of unbelievably unreliable, childish, and violently insane Psycho-Warriors on a campaign to conquer the entire galaxy.
But after successfully conquering everything…
He simply disappeared.
The guy had apparently gotten bored and wandered off without telling anyone.
Now, the warriors he’d left behind were desperately trying to find him, hoping their actions would eventually bring him back.
The setting of the Space King universe was extremely similar to that of Warhammer 40K.
The main difference was that Space King had already beaten the absolute crap out of every alien species and evil god.
Those that survived were so terrified that they no longer dared to eat humans.
Instead, they’d been forced to become vegetarians.
Another major difference involved the creation of superhuman warriors.
Unlike Warhammer’s Space Marines, who needed to undergo nineteen surgical procedures, the Psycho-Warriors of this universe had a much simpler method.
All they needed to do was recover a set of Holy Globules and implant them into a young boy.
And boom!
Instant superhuman warrior.
After entering the Space King universe, Vane had immediately encountered a Reclaimer Squad belonging to the Star Defenders Legion.
Naturally, he beat the living daylights out of them.
At the time, the squad had been carrying out a mission assigned by High Command, an artificial intelligence shaped like an enormous skull.
Their objective was to locate and retrieve a special sacred artifact.
Originally, the squad had been part of a much larger legion.
Unfortunately, the entire force had been accidentally deployed to a planet inhabited by blue aliens.
This disastrous mistake had infuriated their commanding officer.
As punishment, the Captain was stripped of his broader command authority and ordered to complete the mission with just three companions.
After Vane learned the basic details of their situation, he received a conquest quest of his own.
Assist the squad in recovering the sacred artifact.
With no better alternative, Vane had little choice but to accompany the four lunatics to the desolate planet where their target was located.
There, they discovered an ancient temple.
Inside stood a statue dedicated to Space King himself.
And within that same temple…
They encountered an alien woman with a pair of absolutely enormous milkers.
Thankfully, Homelander from The Boys wasn’t around.
Otherwise, the guy probably would’ve burst into tears, thrown himself at her feet, and started screaming for his mommy.
