It was noon.

The blazing sun hung high overhead, beating down on a training ground filled with swirling dust and the relentless roar of engines.

“THIS is what you call training?!”

“Are you sure this is training?! Because it feels a whole lot more like attempted murder!”

Ibuki nearly jumped out of his skin when he saw Daigo driving a jeep straight toward him.

“What did you expect? Special training isn’t some fancy dinner party!”

“You have to sweat! You have to bleed! If you want to become a real warrior, you’d better be prepared to suffer!”

“Ibuki! Stop running away and face the jeep head-on!”

“THIS IS MURDER!”

Ibuki screamed at the top of his lungs while desperately running for his life.

Unfortunately, his stamina eventually ran out.

And when he no longer had the strength to keep running…

BAM!

The speeding jeep slammed into him.

Ibuki went flying through the air like a rag doll.

He traveled more than thirty feet before crashing back to the ground.

Zero, who had been watching from the sidelines, was utterly speechless.

Dude.

You actually sent the guy flying thirty feet!

No wonder every Ultraman has a freaking eight-pack!

Anyone who survives this kind of training must be an absolute monster!

“Ahhh. That’s the stuff.”

Looking at Ibuki’s miserable condition, Daigo wore a deeply satisfied smile.

He’d already made up his mind.

This is going to become a tradition.

If Master ever takes on more disciples, every single one of them is getting trained this way!

Daigo drove over to where Ibuki had landed.

The poor guy was sprawled on the ground, barely breathing.

He looked like he was one bad cough away from meeting his maker.

Daigo casually pulled out a Golden Apple and fed it to him.

Less than thirty seconds later, Ibuki’s shattered bones and torn muscles had completely healed.

“W-What…?”

Ibuki stared at himself in disbelief.

When the jeep had hit him, he’d genuinely thought he was dead.

Yet after eating a single Golden Apple, he was suddenly as good as new.

It was practically a miracle!

Even his completely exhausted stamina had returned.

“Wait, he recovered that quickly?!”

Zero approached, visibly stunned.

“And his physical strength has actually increased a little. There’s definitely something strange about that apple.”

He immediately scanned the Golden Apples in Daigo’s possession.

However, the results only confused him further.

According to his scan, they were ordinary Golden Apples.

How the hell does an ordinary apple heal injuries and strengthen someone’s body?

“Here. Try one.”

Daigo tossed Zero a Golden Apple.

Zero took a bite.

It was incredibly sweet.

At the same time, a mysterious energy spread throughout his body, subtly strengthening his cells.

After Ultraman King instructed Zero to remain by Vane’s side, Zero had separated from the young boy he’d been possessing and chosen to assume an ordinary human appearance instead.

The enhancement was extremely minor, but it was undeniably real.

“Incredible.”

Zero examined the Golden Apple in his hand, unable to understand how something so ordinary could possess such miraculous properties.

Maybe the Space Science Technology Bureau could figure this out.

“Well, now that you’ve recovered, let’s keep going!”

Daigo grabbed Ibuki and pulled him back onto his feet, sounding positively delighted.

“W-WAIT! THERE’S MORE?!”

Ibuki was just about to protest when Daigo climbed back into the jeep.

He slammed his foot onto the gas pedal.

VROOOOM!

The engine roared.

Watching the jeep come charging toward him once again, Ibuki had no choice but to run.

He tried standing his ground and fighting back several times.

Unfortunately, every single attempt ended in failure.

Daigo spent the entire day mercilessly tormenting Ibuki.

And he enjoyed every second of it.

Unfortunately for Daigo…

By evening, he wasn’t smiling anymore.

Vane arrived at the training ground with an entire convoy of fully loaded heavy-duty trucks.

This time, Daigo and Zero were the ones receiving advanced training.

The rules were simple.

Neither of them was allowed to transform.

They had to endure the training using nothing but their human bodies.

And the training wouldn’t end until they could defeat fully loaded heavy trucks with their bare hands.

Daigo was dumbfounded.

Even Zero couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

If Zero were in his Ultraman form, a mere truck wouldn’t even scratch his skin.

But in human form?

What the hell?!

At that point, how am I any different from Superman?!

A human body capable of surviving a head-on collision with a truck weighing dozens of tons would already be ridiculously powerful.

Someone like that could probably beat the crap out of most monsters without even transforming into an Ultraman.

“Um… Master? Is skipping training an option?”

Daigo stared at the massive trucks, the corners of his mouth twitching.

Vane couldn’t be bothered arguing.

He simply ordered the drivers to floor it.

The heavy trucks immediately charged toward Daigo and Zero.

BAM! BAM!

Unsurprisingly, both of them were sent flying.

Their bodies traced two beautiful arcs through the air before crashing into the ground with a pair of heavy thuds.

Vane calmly walked over to his critically injured trainees.

He fed each of them an Enchanted Golden Apple.

Once their injuries had healed, he ordered the truck drivers to continue.

And so, the nightmare began again.

Meanwhile, Ibuki wasn’t getting a break either.

He was still fighting his personal nemesis.

The terrifying Jeep Monster.

After several days of relentless abuse, Ibuki finally achieved a breakthrough.

He successfully overturned a speeding jeep with his own body!

At that moment, Vane received a notification.

[Mission: Train Teo and turn him into a powerful Ultra Warrior.]

[Status: Completed]

[Mission Rewards: Lazy Builder’s Copy Wand ×1, Skill: Storm Breath, Skill: Intimidation, Skill: Berserk, +1,500 EMC Points, +3% Conquest Progress, Title: Ultraman Teo’s Strict Father]

[Item: Lazy Builder’s Copy Wand]

[Description: Simply select a building and place it wherever you want to create a perfect copy.]

[Evaluation: “Screw the laws of conservation!”]

Vane retrieved the Lazy Builder’s Copy Wand.

He pointed it at a nearby building and tapped once.

Then he aimed at an empty patch of land.

With another tap, an identical building instantly appeared.

“…I can’t believe I never thought of using something like this to duplicate buildings before.”

Vane slapped his forehead in regret.

Back when he’d been in the Warhammer universe, this thing would’ve been insanely useful.

If he’d had it back then, the Imperium of Man could have achieved victory much faster.

What a wasted opportunity.

“Anyway, my conquest progress has reached 34%.”

“I wonder what the remaining missions are going to be?”

Almost immediately after he spoke, another notification appeared before his eyes.

[Conquest Mission: Capture the Mysterious Red Sphere]

[The Mysterious Red Sphere is currently located in another parallel dimension, secretly observing everything happening in Dimension C10.]

[It appears to be plotting something far more sinister, attempting to create a creature even stronger than the King of Mons.]

[Mission Rewards: Godzilla Stellar Form, The Ultima Blade ×1, Flawless Suit ×1, One-Hit Kill Axe ×1, +15% Conquest Progress, +3,500 EMC Points]

Vane casually glanced over the mission.

He was just about to dismiss the notification when something suddenly caught his attention.

He froze.

Then he immediately turned back and reread the rewards.

“Hold the hell up!”

“The Ultima Blade? Flawless Suit?!”

“You’re seriously giving me equipment this broken?!”

“Are you trying to make every future fight completely pointless?!”

The Ultima Blade was unlike other ultimate weapons.

It was a weapon specifically designed for Titans.

Even in his gigantic Godzilla form, Vane would still be able to wield it.

Its power was absolutely ridiculous.

Any enemy lacking protection from special rules such as Invincibility or Eternity would be instantly killed.

It didn’t matter how much health they possessed.

It didn’t matter how high their armor rating was.

One hit.

Instant death.

And even if an opponent possessed immortality, invincibility, or similar forms of protection?

Well, that just meant Vane might have to swing a few extra times.

As if that weren’t already broken enough, anyone wielding the The Ultima Blade would gain limitless regeneration.

As long as an enemy couldn’t kill the wielder in a single hit, they would instantly regenerate to peak condition.

Then there was the Flawless Suit.

This was the ultimate defensive equipment.

Its protection was so absurd that it effectively ignored the rules of reality itself.

It could nullify instant-death curses, even those operating on a level beyond ordinary universal laws.

The wearer would automatically gain flight, teleportation, unlimited jumping, unlimited speed, extraordinary luck, enhanced vitality, the ability to see through anything, and numerous other ridiculous powers.

And that wasn’t even its most outrageous feature.

If someone wearing the Flawless Suit died, the very concept of death would be removed from them.

In other words, the laws governing death would simply stop applying.

With equipment like that, Vane wouldn’t have to fear anything even if he entered the DC Universe and came face-to-face with Cosmic Armor Superman.

Before he could fully process those rewards, another notification appeared.
