Minecraft: The Conqueror of Multiverse
Chapter 158 Three More UltraMan
“Who’s Zero?”
The Emperor turned to Vane, visibly curious.
“The Ultraman currently beating that monster like it owes him money,” Vane pointed toward the sky. “He’s basically an overpowered space delinquent who skips out on his actual job to wander around the multiverse looking for a fight.”
“Is every intergalactic vagabond this terrifying in combat?” Keigo Masaki asked, genuinely surprised by the sheer, overwhelming beatdown Zero was dishing out.
“And I’m assuming that other Ultraman is Teo, the one mentioned in the Kyrieloid data caches?” Daigo pointed at the second, significantly less impressive Giant struggling in the background.
“Yep. His home planet got turned into space dust. Now he’s a refugee stranded on C-10 Earth,” Vane explained. “Don’t judge the kid too harshly. Finding the courage to even stand on a battlefield when you’re a refugee is commendable.”
As Vane answered the team’s questions, he pulled up his system interface to check the flashing notifications.
[Quest: Defeat the Ruler of Darkness, Gatanothor, and Travel to a New Dimension (Completed)
Rewards: Godzilla (Space Form) Template, French Fries x100, Cola x100, Ender Slime Staff x1, Shurikens x20, Campaign Progress +10%, +5000 EMC Points, Title: ‘The Ruler of Darkness is My Bitch’.]
[Item: Shuriken]
A classic ninja throwing weapon. Can be thrown at enemies. If enchanted with ‘Loyalty’, it will automatically return to the user’s hand after striking.
System Note: Go out there and fight to become the Hokage!
[Item: Ender Slime Staff]
Comes with a built-in ‘Slime Shot’ active skill. Features 6 empty sockets for equipping skills, enhancements, or enchantments. Simply keeping this item in the inventory passively grants additional armor points and various defensive buffs.
System Note: “The absolute perfect choice for crippling an opponent’s movement speed.”
Just as Vane finished skimming his rewards, another quest notification instantly popped up.
[Quest: The Hellish Training of Ultraman Teo.
As a refugee from Planet H-12, Ultraman Teo’s combat capabilities are an absolute disaster. He must be rapidly trained into a powerful Ultra Warrior to survive the coming threats.
Rewards: Lazy Builder’s Copy Wand x1, Skill Book: Storm Breath, Skill Book: Intimidation, Skill Book: Berserk, +1500 EMC Points, Campaign Progress +3%, Title: Teo’s Strict Father.]
“Another training quest?” Vane cracked a wicked grin.
It was time to bring the Jeep Kaiju out of retirement. Teo, my boy, prepare to be completely broken.
“The system is handing out skills like candy. By the time I stack all these on Godzilla, I’m going to be able to brawl with literally anything.” Vane chuckled. “And a Copy Wand? That is going to save so much time.”
Just as Vane waved away the private interface, another notification immediately took its place.
[Quest: Secure the Secret of Gigantification for the Master of Mankind.
As the absolute ruler of humanity, the Emperor is obsessed with forcing human ascension to forge the ultimate civilization across the stars. Thus, he desires to acquire the absolute pinnacle of technological advancement from every universe to bring back to the Imperium. Help him fulfill this ambition.
Rewards: Godzilla (Mecha Form) Template, Titan Trident x1, Lucky Block x1, Skill Book: Blink, Skill Book: Shield, +3000 EMC Points, Campaign Progress +15%, Title: ‘The Plasma Spark Tower is Mine’.]
Bringing the golden workhorse along was definitely the right call, Vane thought. He’s already passively triggered two massive progression quests just by standing next to me.
I wonder if Malcador, Valdor, or the Primarchs can trigger quests too? Man, when I finally hit the Super God Universe, I should definitely bring Sanguinius along. The guy could probably trigger an entire questline with those angel-obsessed psychos just by showing his wings.
Anyway, the ‘gigantification technology’ the system is talking about has to be the Plasma Spark Tower from the Land of Light.
Vane quickly did the math in his head. From the previous quests, he was already sitting at 16% Campaign Progress. These two new quests offered another 15%, bringing his total to 31%.
The upgraded Infinite Pocket Dimension was incredibly fast when it came to Campaign Progress. At this rate, he could completely conquer the Ultraman Universe in a month or two.
Back in the Warhammer 40k Universe, Vane had figured out a core mechanic of the system: he didn’t need to physically experience or play through every single plotline. As long as he violently derailed the established timeline and irreversibly altered the universe’s future to a certain degree, the system counted the universe as “conquered.”
It made perfect sense, considering his powers came from a Minecraft mod system. Who actually played Minecraft for the lore? You just load in, break the rules, and do whatever you want.
Vane closed the interface and turned his attention back to the sky.
The fight was a total slaughter. The monster, Bodyroba, was fine bullying a complete novice like Teo, but against Zero—the absolute strongest of the New Generation Heroes—it was getting torn apart.
Bodyroba was a parasitic space kaiju, commonly known as a Possessor Beast. Standing 50 meters tall and weighing 30,000 tons, it could shed its physical body to turn into a phantom, violently possessing other monsters to hijack their bodies and abilities. Its primary offensive weapon was a barrage of destructive energy blasts from its arms.
“Get ready to drop in,” Vane ordered the strike team.
“Does he actually need help?” Keigo Masaki asked, watching Zero absolutely style on the monster. “He seems to have it completely under control.”
“He’s going to beat it, but Bodyroba will try to slip away,” Vane explained. “We need to completely vaporize it before it can escape and hijack another host to terrorize the city.”
Hearing the tactical briefing, the Emperor, Daigo, and Keigo immediately drew their transformation devices.
The battlefield played out exactly as Vane predicted.
After Zero brutally beat down the canine monster Bodyroba had possessed, the parasite violently ejected from the host, shifting into its phantom form to make a desperate escape.
Right as it made a break for the stratosphere, Ultraman Atum, Ultraman Tiga, and Ultraman Lux materialized out of thin air, completely boxing the phantom in. Without hesitating, the three Giants unleashed a synchronized barrage of finishing beams, instantly incinerating Bodyroba’s phantom form into nothingness.
Wait… three more Ultramen?!
Zero froze, staring at the newly arrived Giants in absolute shock. He thought he and Teo were the only ones on C-10 Earth! Where the hell did these three come from?!
He immediately recognized one of them: Ultraman Tiga.
Tiga was an anomaly in the multiverse. In almost any timeline, as long as humanity held onto genuine hope, they could manifest his power. He had no theoretical power ceiling—the stronger the hope, the stronger he became. Tiga’s origins were shrouded in mystery, arguably even more enigmatic than the legendary Four Ultras. After every battle, he simply vanished. He never communicated, never joined the Space Garrison, and never lingered.
Zero honestly felt like Tiga wasn’t even an individual anymore, but a literal universal rule: meet the conditions, gain the power.
But the other two Giants? Zero had absolutely no idea who they were.
