Chapter 134 Final Battle (2) (Bonus)

Vane’s eyes swept over Tzeentch, Khorne, and Nurgle before lingering on Slaanesh.

“Nice body.”

Hearing Vane’s compliment, Slaanesh flashed a seductive look.

“Would you like to try it out? I am more than happy to serve an Outer God.”

“Sorry, but I’m an honorable gentleman,” Vane rejected the offer righteously, before lowering his voice. “Hit me up privately after the fight.”

“I’ll be waiting,” Slaanesh replied, extending a long, slick tongue and casually tying it into a knot in front of everyone before untying it again.

“Damn…” Vane sucked in a breath. If Slaanesh started working at a brothel, she’d immediately put all the top courtesans out of business.

The Emperor: “…”

Tzeentch: “…”

Khorne: “…”

Nurgle: “…”

This is the critical moment that decides the fate of the entire galaxy, and you two are doing this?!

“Honestly, we can all just sit down and talk,” Tzeentch said, looking at Vane. “Name your terms. Destroying the galaxy doesn’t benefit anyone.”

“The blue bird makes a good point. All this fighting and killing isn’t great. Tell you what.”

Vane pulled a Bedrock cage out of his inventory. Once someone was locked inside, even a Chaos God wouldn’t be able to break out.

“I built a cozy little cage. You guys just hop in there and wait, and Big E and I will take that as proof you genuinely want peace. Then we can all make dumplings together.”

Hearing the first half, the Chaos Gods’ eyes lit up.

They genuinely thought the great Outer God was willing to negotiate. If he agreed to a truce, they’d immediately pull their armies back and hibernate deep in the Warp. They would just wait for the enemy to let their guard down, secretly build up their strength, figure out what trump cards the enemy still had, and then launch a massive comeback when the time was right.

But as soon as they heard the second half of the sentence, their expressions darkened. This guy was just treating them like idiots!

“If we cannot talk, then we fight!” Khorne roared terrifyingly. “As long as it bleeds, I can kill an Outer God too!”

“You say that like I’m scared of you. Eat my blade, Khorne!”

Using his Void Ring, Vane teleported right in front of Khorne and brought the Carnage Blade crashing down.

Khorne instinctively raised its axe to block.

Clang!

The collision between the two weapons unleashed a horrifying shockwave that forced both combatants back.

It was then that Khorne noticed a tiny chip in the edge of its axe—clearly a result of the clash.

“How is this possible?!”

Khorne stared in shock. What the hell is his weapon made of to be that durable?!

“Damn it…” Seeing that his blade hadn’t instantly shattered Khorne’s weapon, Vane cursed under his breath.

If he had just managed to craft the Sword of the Cosmos, he could have shattered Khorne’s axe in a single swing, followed up with a few more hits, and the guy would have been toast.

Ugh, seriously, why couldn’t I bring my resources into this run?

Seeing the exchange, Tzeentch, Nurgle, and Slaanesh felt their hearts sink.

The Outer God’s combat power was just too ridiculous; even Khorne couldn’t secure an advantage in a direct clash.

“Eat another one!” Vane teleported again, swinging the Carnage Blade at Khorne once more.

Roar!

Khorne bellowed and charged to meet the strike, and the two immediately locked into a brutal melee.

“Today is the day you die.”

The Emperor didn’t waste any words, charging the remaining three gods with his flaming sword.

“There are three of us, and the Anathema is alone. We take him down together, then gang up on the Outer God.”

“The advantage is ours.”

“This time, we will destroy the Anathema for good.”

Tzeentch, Slaanesh, and Nurgle surrounded the Emperor. They genuinely believed that fighting three against one guaranteed them victory.

But that beautiful fantasy was quickly shattered by reality.

As the battle intensified, the veil between the Warp and realspace tore open, causing the two dimensions to overlap.

Taking advantage of the breach, the Void Dragon and the other C’tan from the materium crossed over into the battlefield and joined the fight.

Normally, the C’tan—being entities of the material universe—couldn’t enter the Warp. But because the war between humanity and Chaos had completely blurred the boundary between reality and the Immaterium, they were finally able to step in and join the fray.

The Chaos Gods were the strongest entities in the Warp, but the Void Dragon and the other C’tan were no pushovers either, each wielding absolute authority over realspace.

The battlefield rapidly devolved into a massive, apocalyptic free-for-all. Every time their weapons clashed, horrifying shockwaves ripped through the Immaterium, causing the Warp to boil over and spawning countless terrifying warp storms. The fallout even bled into the material universe. Across the galaxy, countless psykers and Warp-sensitive creatures cowered in absolute terror, trembling as the battle for the fate of the galaxy raged on.

While the Four Chaos Gods and the Imperium were locked in their all-out deathmatch, Cegorach was making his own moves in the shadows.

First, the Laughing God slipped into Slaanesh’s domain and swiped the final Cronesword. With all five Croneswords finally gathered, he summoned Ynnead, the Aeldari God of the Dead. Right after that, he made a detour to Nurgle’s decrepit mansion to bust out Isha, the captive Goddess of Healing.

“Cegorach?”

Isha stared at him in utter disbelief. She had thought all her brothers and sisters had perished the day Slaanesh was born. She never expected Cegorach to not only be alive but to actually mount a rescue mission for her.

“I don’t have time to explain right now; we need to get to the battlefield immediately,” Cegorach said. “The war for the galaxy’s future has already started. If we miss out on this, we won’t have a seat at the table when the dust settles.”

He swung his blade, shattering the chains binding Isha. Hustling her out of Nurgle’s rotting estate, they rendezvoused with Ynnead, who had been keeping watch outside.

After a quick round of introductions, Cegorach rushed Isha and Ynnead to the front lines.

By the time they arrived, the battlefield had turned into a complete meat grinder of absolute chaos. Daemons could resurrect endlessly, but so could the Imperium’s heroic spirits. It was a brutal war of attrition, but in the duel among the gods, the human faction was actually holding the upper hand.

“Let’s go! We’re taking down Slaanesh first!”

At Cegorach’s shout, Isha and Ynnead charged into the fray, launching a coordinated assault on the Prince of Pleasure. As the embodiment of the Aeldari’s vengeance, ultimate finality, and death, Ynnead was the absolute hard counter to Slaanesh—a god born entirely from the Aeldari’s depraved desires.

Ynnead’s entry into the fight became the final straw that broke the camel’s back for the god of excess and degeneracy.

After a fierce, lightning-fast exchange, Slaanesh left an opening. Ynnead lunged, driving his blade straight through Slaanesh’s chest, eliciting a bloodcurdling shriek. Seizing the opportunity, the Void Dragon unleashed a beam of absolute, devastating energy that slammed directly into Slaanesh’s torso.

The light of obliteration, wielding the ultimate authority of realspace, flooded into the Dark Prince’s body. Overwhelmed by the terrifying wave of destructive energy, the Lord of Excess let out a series of desperate, agonizing wails before its physical form violently detonated, blasting apart into countless fragments.
