Minecraft: The Conqueror of Multiverse
Chapter 129 That's It?
The blaring sirens of an enemy boarding alert echoed throughout the massive warship.
“You two need to evacuate this area immediately,” Trajann pleaded, looking back and forth between Vane and Big E.
“Nah,” Vane shook his head. If I leave now, how am I supposed to watch the show? I want a front-row seat for the Silent King’s despair.
“Stand down, Trajann. The xenos king has already lost. Whatever he tries now is completely pointless,” Big E’s psychic voice echoed directly inside Trajann’s mind.
Trajann wanted to argue, but a Tech-Priest nearby suddenly shouted a warning.
“Detecting extreme spatial-temporal anomalies! The enemy has locked onto the bridge’s coordinates!”
A split second later, the very air on the bridge ripped open. A jagged spatial fissure materialized, vomiting out blinding emerald light. The tear widened and smoothed out, forming a rapidly expanding, glowing oval portal that perfectly bridged the gap between the Imperial flagship and the strategic command deck of the Song of Oblivion.
Peering through the glowing rift, Vane could clearly see the Blackstone walls, floors, and alien consoles on the other side. A ghostly green luminescence blanketed the entire command deck of the tomb ship.
Szarekh, flanked by his two Phaerons and the elite Triarch Praetorians, was completely stacked up on the other side of the portal.
“Protect the Forefather and The Emperor!” Trajann roared.
The Custodes immediately powered up their weapons and swarmed around Vane and Big E. The outermost guard locked their massive storm shields together, forming an impenetrable golden wall.
“Submit to the Triarch, rulers of humanity! This is your final chance!” Hapthatra barked on behalf of the Triarch, his synthetic voice harsh and echoing.
Big E replied, his voice radiating pure, crushing authority. “Today is the day your reign permanently ends.”
“Then embrace annihilation, you foolish apes!”
The Silent King waved his hand, and his Praetorian guard launched their assault. A dense volley of deadly green gauss beams poured through the oval portal like a localized meteor shower.
Big E simply raised a hand. A massive, shimmering golden psychic aegis flared to life, easily tanking every single shot the Necrons threw at them.
“Open fire!” Trajann bellowed.
The Custodes flanking him raised their crackling guardian spears and unleashed an absolute wall of explosive bolter fire. The vanguard of the Necron advance was shredded into scrap metal in a microsecond. But wave after wave of mechanical warriors kept pouring through the rift, crashing into the golden giants and turning the bridge into a brutal melee mosh pit.
The close-quarters slaughter was insanely vicious. In just a few breaths, the deck was completely littered with severed limbs and shattered metal chassis. Crimson blood mixed with glowing synthetic coolant, filling the air with a horribly toxic, acrid stench.
Ignoring the absolute bloodbath happening around them, Big E and the Silent King locked eyes.
“Now, you and I will settle this,” the Silent King spoke through his vocal proxy.
“My thoughts exactly.” Big E drew his blazing sword, his gaze fixed dead on Szarekh.
Szarekh swung his Scepter of Eternal Glory, unleashing a blinding, searing beam of annihilation directly at Big E, fully intending to erase him from reality.
Big E just clenched his fist, literally crushing the energy beam out of existence. Without missing a beat, he vaulted over the Custodian shield wall, his flaming sword arcing down toward the mechanical overlord.
“Well, since they’re already throwing down, I guess it’s our turn.”
Rocking his Reaper of Souls Suit and gripping the Bloodletter [Carnage] tightly in his hands, Vane flashed a wicked grin as he locked onto the two remaining Phaerons.
“You are incredibly arrogant, human,” Hapthatra sneered, gripping his Staff of Stars as he glared at Vane.
“Do not waste your breath on these foolish primitives,” Mesophet, wielding his Scythe of Dust, said, his voice ice-cold. “Kill him. Show him the price of insulting the Triarch.”
Using the Void Ring, Vane instantly teleported right behind Mesophet. He swung the heavily enchanted Bloodletter [Carnage] with brutal force. The Overlord’s body, forged from living metal, was sliced clean in half like warm butter.
Vane had the ‘More Enchantments’ mod installed. Theoretically, as long as he had enough time, he could stack an unlimited number of enchantments on his weapons and armor. Lately, he’d been relentlessly enchanting the Bloodletter to crank up its damage output. After all, crafting the Sword of the Cosmos required way too many resources, and he wasn’t sure he could get it built in time for the final battle. Because of that, he had to be fully prepared to clear the game using just the Bloodletter.
Vane was so fast that the Triarch Praetorians nearby didn’t even have time to react. By the time their optical sensors caught up and they actually tried to launch an attack, Vane just unleashed a casual horizontal cleave with his blade, chopping both their weapons and their chassis in two.
“How is this possible…” Hapthatra panicked.
How could the weapon in this human’s hands be so absurdly sharp? Mesophet was a Phaeron, and the Triarch Praetorians were elite guards! Their bodies were built using absolute top-tier necrodermis, capable of tanking damage that would instantly vaporize a regular Necron. Yet, in front of this guy, they couldn’t even take a single hit.
Desperate, Hapthatra forced himself to raise the Staff of Stars, trying to fire a blast of annihilating energy. Vane casually flicked the Bloodletter, slicing the staff in half, then followed up with a second strike that cleaved the Phaeron right down the middle, securing an effortless victory.
“Seriously, that’s your combat power?” Vane sighed, looking thoroughly disappointed. “How did you even have the nerve to talk all that trash a minute ago?”
Hearing Vane’s taunt, Hapthatra and Mesophet, who were currently trying to reassemble their bisected bodies, almost choked on their own coolant and synthetic oil out of sheer humiliation.
With Vane on the field, the Silent King’s elite Praetorians didn’t even get the chance to make a splash. He made quick work of them, dicing them into piles of scrap metal in seconds.
Trazyn then happily scooped up Hapthatra and Mesophet, locking them away securely inside a Tesseract Labyrinth.
