MHA: I'm the Reality Warping 'Hero X', but I'd Rather Have a 9-5 Job
Chapter 214 - 213: Him Again?
Location: Yokohama - Gunslinger Agency
Time: Morning
THUD
A metal crate hit the concrete floor of the agency garage.
Snipe stood near the back of a black transport van. He wore his standard hero costume, his long red cape hanging over his shoulders, and his gas mask firmly on his face.
He reached into the crate and pulled out a bulky, red plastic rifle. He tossed it to all of his sidekicks standing nearby.
Flak and everyone caught the rifle. They looked down at the bright red plastic and frowned deeply.
"Boss, this feels terrible," Flak complained.
"I agree boss. Compared to what we used. I felt weird." anoyher sidekick chimed.
Flak pulled the charging handle back. It made a cheap clicking noise.
"The plastic is way too light," Flak said, adjusting his grip. "It completely throws off my wrist angle. I can't use my Scattershot quirk with this. It ruins the spread."
Snipe pulled another red rifle from the crate and threw it to Tracer and the others.
"I can't even mount a proper scope on this thing," Tracer muttered, tapping the top of the plastic barrel. "I don't even need my Laser Sight quirk. It feels like a toy."
All of his 20 sidekicks recieved the cemetent guns that was issued by the HPSC beforehand.
"It shoots fast-drying cement rounds," Snipe replied calmly. "The Hero Public Safety Commission provided them for the exam today. You guys are acting as the villains for Phase Two. Divide yourself into three teams and go to different test locations."
Flak sighed and slung the red rifle over his shoulder by its cheap nylon strap.
Snipe picked up a clipboard from the back of the van. He checked the printed schedule.
"I just got off the phone with the Help Us Company," Snipe told his sidekicks. "The HUC actors are already setting up the disaster zones inside the stadium. You stick to the exact script you practiced with them. Do not shoot near the civilian actors. Let them do their jobs."
Tracer leaned against the side of the van.
"My team should be on Takoba, you guys choose your sites." Tracer looked at Flak and all other sidekicks.
"But isn't that where your U.A. class is taking the test in Takoba, Boss?"
"Yes," Snipe nodded, looking at the roster on his clipboard. "The second-year U.A. students are in this bracket."
Tracer broke into a wide grin. He rubbed his scarred jaw.
"We get to shoot at your students?" He laughed. "I am going to enjoy this."
"I get to have fun with my Alma Mater.."
"Me too, I think I can properly look Isami students now."
"Maybe I can see my past teacher in Eishi High in the stadium. Hopefully someone from this school will pass"
"Let's have fun."
Every sidekicks are hyping up while lifting the cement guns.
TAP.
Snipe tapped his pen hard against the clipboard.
He looked directly at his sidekicks.
"Be serious," Snipe said strictly.
"..."
Everyone stopped joking. They stood up straight and looked at him.
"You shouldn't use Kaito's gun kata like bullet time if necessary. Understood?" Snipe ordered them.
"Yes, Boss.." Everyone blinked, and answered.
"Minimize ricochet traps," Snipe listed the rules clearly. "And curving shots. You keep your heart rates normal today."
"Understood, Boss," Flak agreed, looking at his team.
"We'll stick to the script," Tracer nodded quickly with the rest of the other sidekicks.
"Good," Snipe tossed the clipboard into the front passenger seat of the van. "Finish loading the rest of the crates. I am heading out early to the VIP observation room in Takoba."
...
Location: Takoba National Stadium - Briefing Hall
The indoor briefing hall was packed shoulder to shoulder. Two thousand three hundred and sixty second-year students from all over Japan stood on the floor.
Mera walked onto the raised metal stage. He wore a wrinkled black suit. Thick dark circles hung under his tired eyes.
CRUNCH.
Mera chewed a white antacid tablet and swallowed hard. He looked down at the crowd.
His eyes stopped on a specific group of students wearing green uniforms. Ketsubutsu Academy.
The Hero Public Safety Commission capped the passing rate at five percent two years ago to filter out weak applicants.
It was supposed to be a strict elimination exam. Ketsubutsu ruined the curve. For two straight years, they took almost every single passing spot across all three national venues.
'How did Arisaka managed them in the past? Well it's not my problem' Mera expected them to sweep the board again today.
TAP. TAP.
He tapped the microphone.
SCREECH.
The loud feedback echoed through the speakers. The students covered their ears and the room went completely quiet.
"Hello," Mera said, his voice entirely flat. "I am Yokumiru Mera from the Hero Public Safety Commission. I haven't slept in three days. Pay attention to the screen."
He pointed a thumb over his shoulder. The large digital screen lit up, displaying a map of an industrial shipping port.
"Phase One is a Capture and Contain test," Mera explained, rubbing his forehead. "The arena outside is a maze of metal shipping containers and cranes. We hid supply crates inside."
The screen changed to show a picture of a heavy red crate.
"You find a crate," Mera continued. "You drag it to a designated safe zone. You hold that zone for three consecutive minutes. If someone steals it from you before the timer ends, the clock resets for them. You hold it, you pass."
The students started whispering nervously.
"We have two thousand three hundred and sixty applicants in this room," Mera said bluntly. "We only have one hundred and eighteen passing spots for this venue. First come, first serve. Go to the starting gates."
Panic immediately broke out in the crowd.
"One hundred and eighteen?!" a boy from a normal high school yelled.
"That is insane!" a girl next to him grabbed her hair.
A group of students from a mid-tier school huddled together near the back wall.
"We can't fight head-on," the group leader whispered quickly. "We copy Ketsubutsu. We hide in the alleys, avoid the brawls, and steal the crates while everyone else is distracted."
"Yeah, stealth tactics," his teammate agreed, nodding rapidly. "Just like they did last year."
A few feet away, the actual Ketsubutsu students ignored the noise. They didn't talk. They just checked their utility belts and adjusted their gear.
They were totally focused on their own squads.
...
Location: Takoba National Stadium - VIP Observation Box
Snipe opened the heavy door and walked into the VIP room.
The room sat high above the arena. A long wall of thick glass gave a perfect view of the fake shipping port outside.
Dozens of flat-screen monitors hung from the ceiling, tracking the different camera angles.
Hound Dog stood near the glass. He chewed on a hotdog, holding a paper napkin.
"Morning," Snipe said, walking over to the window.
"Morning," Hound Dog swallowed his food. "Class A is heading to the gates right now. Let's see if they actually paid attention in class."
"Hey! Snipe!"
A loud, cheerful voice called out from the center of the room.
Snipe turned his head.
Emi Fukukado sat on a comfortable leather couch. She wore her Ms. Joke hero costume.
A teacher from a mid-tier hero school stood right next to her, looking highly frustrated.
"We tried to copy your stealth formations last year," the mid-tier school female teacher complained to Emi. "What did we do wrong Ms. Joke?"
Emi laughed brightly and took a sip of her coffee.
"Just a strict sleep schedule and a good diet," Emi grinned, completely brushing the question off.
She wasn't going to tell him about the Shadow Hero syllabus that their school practiced.
The teacher sighed heavily and walked away to grab a drink from the cooler.
Emi kicked her boots up onto the coffee table. She looked across the room.
Gensho stood quietly in the far corner. The scarred combat instructor from Shiketsu High kept his arms crossed, watching the monitors.
"Gensho," Emi called out, flashing a wide smile. "Shiketsu is in this bracket today. Don't get mad when my kids steal the crates right out from under yours."
Gensho turned his head.
He remembered the grueling seminar Mr. Kaito just ran for the Shiketsu faculty. He knew exactly what his students were about to do the second the buzzer rang.
He just gave Emi a polite, quiet smile.
"We will see," Gensho replied calmly.
BZZZZT.
The massive stadium alarm blared through the speakers.
[The gate are open] Mera's voice echoed through the room. [Phase One begins now.]
...
Location: Phase One Arena - Industrial Shipping Arena
BZZZZZT.
The stadium alarm echoed across the venue.
The heavy metal gates open.
Two thousand three hundred and sixty students sprinted out onto the dirt field.
The arena was a sprawling maze of metal shipping containers, narrow alleyways, and tall yellow cranes.
Mirio Togata walked out of the starting gate. Tamaki Amajiki and Nejire Hado walked right next to him.
They kept a casual pace, heading directly into the center of the main street.
A group of six students from a random hero school turned the corner. They held a glowing red supply crate.
They saw the Big Three. They stopped completely.
"Oh no," a student with a horn mutation whispered, taking a step backward.
"That is them," another student pointed a shaking finger at Mirio. "The guys from the U.A. Sports Festival broadcast."
Mirio looked at them and smiled broadly.
"Hey guys," Mirio waved. "Can we have that crate?"
"Run away!" the horned student screamed.
The six students dropped the red crate on the dirt. They turned around and sprinted away in complete panic.
They wanted to get as far away from U.A. as possible.
Mirio laughed and stretched his arms over his head.
"Well haha, that was easy," Mirio said.
Tamaki walked over to the red crate. He picked it up by the handles and dragged it into a designated safe zone circle painted on the ground.
"I'll start the timer," Tamaki mumbled quietly, sitting down on the crate.
Nejire floated two inches off the dirt. She looked down the empty street.
"Does anyone else want to fight?!" Nejire yelled loudly.
"..."
"..."
Nobody answered. The street stayed completely quiet.
"So boring. I'm so bored.." Nejire floated gently while complaining.
Three minutes ticked by slowly. The safe zone circle flashed green.
[First three spots secured by Togata, Amajiki, and Hado] Yokumiru Mera's exhausted voice played over the stadium loudspeakers. [One hundred and fifteen spots remaining.]
Across the map, Kenji Daido and the rest of U.A. Class 2-A ran forward.
"They left us behind again," Daido muttered, his skin turning into silver metal. "Let's stick together. We find a crate and we hold the zone."
The U.A. students moved forward in a large group.
They ran past a stack of blue shipping containers.
A student stepped out from the alleyway. He wore the dark uniform and matching peaked hat of Shiketsu High.
His entire body was covered in thick, coarse brown hair.
[Shiketsu High Student: Nagamasa Mora]
[Quirk: Hair Extension]
Mora stayed quiet. He dropped to his knees and slammed his hands flat against the dirt.
WHOOSH.
Massive, thick waves of brown hair shot out from his skin. The hair dug straight into the earth. It moved like a tidal wave of solid muscle.
CRACK.
The ground ripped apart. The thick hair erupted directly underneath the U.A. students.
"Whoa!" Daido yelled, losing his balance and falling backward.
The wave of hair formed a solid, thirty-foot wall right down the middle of the street. It physically separated Daido from five of his classmates.
"I am cut off!" a U.A. student yelled from the other side of the hair wall.
"Hold your ground!" Daido hit the wall with his metal fist. The hair was too thick to break.
On the other side of the wall, the isolated U.A. students tried to find a way around.
A second Shiketsu student walked out from behind a crane.
[Shiketsu High Student: Jiro Sudo]
[Quirk: Smokescreen]
Jiro took a deep breath and blew out a massive cloud of thick, black smoke.
The smoke completely filled the narrow alleyway, blinding the U.A. students instantly.
COUGH. COUGH.
"I can't see anything!" a U.A. student coughed, swinging his arms blindly.
A third Shiketsu student walked directly into the black smoke. He kept his eyes closed.
[Shiketsu High Student: Kenta Yagi]
[Quirk: Tremor Sense]
Kenta placed his hand flat against the concrete wall. He tracked the panicked footsteps of the U.A. students through the vibrations.
He moved silently through the smoke.
THWACK.
Kenta chopped the first U.A. student on the back of the neck. The student collapsed. Kenta moved to the next vibration.
THUD. THUD.
The U.A. students dropped one by one. Kenta walked out of the smoke dragging a glowing red supply crate. Jiro and Nagamasa followed him into a nearby safe zone.
"Timer started," Nagamasa said, checking his watch.
...
The arena turned into a war of attrition.
A group of girls from Seiai Academy secured a crate inside an abandoned factory. The safe zone timer reached two minutes and fifty seconds.
"Ten seconds left!" the Seiai leader cheered. "Hold the doors!"
SQUELCH.
A piece of raw flesh flew through the broken window. It hit the Seiai leader on the shoulder.
[Shiketsu High Student: Seiji Shishikura]
[Quirk: Meatball]
The Seiai leader groaned in pain. Her body violently compressed, folding inward until she turned into a helpless, squirming ball of meat.
Seiji walked through the front door, adjusting his Shiketsu hat. He threw three more pieces of flesh.
The remaining Seiai girls turned into meatballs instantly.
Seiji grabbed the red crate.
The safe zone timer immediately flashed red and reset to three minutes.
"Fools," Seiji muttered, standing inside the circle. "You let your guard down right at the finish line."
[Eighty spots remaining,] Mera's voice announced over the speakers. [The timer resets if the crate changes hands. Keep fighting.]
...
In the southern sector, five students from a mid-tier school dragged a crate into a dark warehouse. They placed it in the safe zone.
"Stay quiet," the leader whispered, crouching behind a wooden box. "We copy the Ketsubutsu Academy strategy. We hide in the dark and wait the timer out."
High above them, two Ketsubutsu second-years waited in the steel rafters.
[Ketsubutsu Academy Student: Ryo Ito]
[Quirk: Frictionless Oil]
Ryo held a small glass vial. He tipped it over. A tiny drop of clear liquid fell from the ceiling. It splashed directly onto the concrete floor beneath the hiding students.
The floor lost all friction instantly.
"What is this?" the leader asked. He tried to take a step and slipped violently.
CRASH.
All five students fell hard onto their backs, completely unable to stand up on the slick surface.
[Ketsubutsu Academy Student: Mika Sato]
[Quirk: Suture]
Mika dropped down from the rafters. She held her hands out like finger guns.
THWIP. THWIP. THWIP.
Heavy, metal medical staples shot from her fingertips. The staples pinned the students' sleeves and pants directly to the wooden pallets on the floor.
The trapped students struggled, completely glued to the ground and stapled to the wood.
Mika and Ryo picked up the red crate. They carried it out the back door to a different safe zone, leaving the copycats yelling at the ceiling.
[Thirty spots remaining,] Mera's voice echoed again.
...
Location: Takoba National Stadium - VIP Observation Box
Snipe crossed his arms. He watched the massive monitors hanging from the ceiling.
"Our kids are getting picked apart," Hound Dog grunted, crushing his empty hotdog wrapper.
Snipe kept his eyes on the Shiketsu camera feeds. He watched Nagamasa use his hair to funnel an opposing squad directly into the path of a Shiketsu student with a heavy laser quirk.
"They are coordinating the physics of their quirks," Snipe realized out loud.
Hound Dog looked over. "Physics?"
"Yes," Snipe explained, pointing at the screen. "The terrain creators push our kids into a straight line. The sensory quirks blind them. Then the shooters take them out. They grouped their students by states of matter and travel paths. They are never in each other's way."
Sip
Emi Fukukado sat on the leather couch. She lowered her coffee cup.
She stopped smiling entirely.
Emi listened to Snipe describe the exact tactical grid Ketsubutsu used.
The categorization of quirks. The elimination of friendly fire. The pure, mechanical efficiency of the squads.
She looked across the room.
Gensho stood by the window. The Shiketsu combat instructor watched the screens with a perfectly calm expression.
Emi remembered her phone call with Kaito Arisaka.
'Your streak is going to get challenged this year.'
Emi narrowed her eyes.
DING. DING. DING.
A loud chime echoed through the VIP room.
The giant monitors mounted on the walls flashed green.
[Phase One is over,] Yokumiru Mera announced through the intercom. [All one hundred and eighteen slots are filled. Please clear the arena floor.]
"..."
The room went quiet.
Snipe and Hound Dog stepped closer to the glass. They looked at the digital roster displaying the names of the passing students.
SIGH.
Hound Dog let out a heavy, frustrated sigh.
U.A. Academy lost almost everyone.
Only five students from Class 2-A passed the test. Togata, Amajiki, Hado, and two other students who managed to hide in an empty building the entire time. Daido and the others were eliminated entirely.
Snipe looked at the rest of the board.
Ketsubutsu Academy took 80 spots.
Shiketsu High took 20 spots.
Other Schools took 13 spots.
Shiketsu High passed their entire class. Every single one of them.
Emi stared at the impossible numbers.
Ketsubutsu still took the majority, but Shiketsu just executed a flawless sweep right alongside them.
Emi stood up from the couch. She walked straight across the room and stopped right in front of Gensho.
"You mapped their quirks based on physical states," Emi curiously asked.
Gensho looked down at her. He kept his hands in his jacket pockets.
"Did Principal Kouzuki hire Arisaka Consulting?"
Gensho smiled. The thick scar across his nose stretched.
"We have ran two-week contract with him" Gensho answered calmly.
Gensho walked past her, opened the VIP room door, and stepped out into the hallway.
...
Location: Phase Two Arena - Rescue Disaster Zone
Time: Afternoon
GRIING.
The heavy metal gates opened, showing the second terrain map the students must pass.
It was a sprawling, ruined city block. Cars were flipped over.
A fake subway tunnel sat collapsed in the middle of a cracked intersection.
Professional actors from the Help Us Company laid in the rubble, covered in fake blood and screaming for medical attention.
Yokumiru Mera's exhausted voice played over the stadium speakers.
["Phase Two is a hazardous rescue operation,"] Mera announced. ["A disaster has occurred. You must locate the trapped victims, triage their injuries, and transport them to the safe zones. The judges will grade your speed and medical response. Go."]
The one hundred and eighteen remaining students rushed into the ruined street.
Mirio, Tamaki, Nejire and their other two classmates stayed together. They ran straight toward the collapsed subway tunnel.
"I hear someone under the concrete stairs!" Yuyu Haya pointed at a huge slab of debris trapping an elderly HUC actor.
"I got the rubble," Nejire hovered over the slab.
BOOM.
A loud explosion blew the doors off a nearby fake storefront. Thick gray smoke poured into the street.
Two sidekicks from the Gunslinger Agency walked out of the smoke. They wore dark tactical gear and held the red HPSC cement rifles.
"Villain attack!" Flak yelled.
Flak stepped to the side, whipping his arm in a harsh, horizontal arc. He fired his rifle at the absolute apex of the swing.
BANG.
He used the Gun Kata.
The red cement round didn't fly straight. It violently curved through the air, hooking around a broken streetlamp to hit Yuyu from her blind spot and the other classmate.
"Why me?" Yuyu complained while preparing to dodge.
"Wow. Their bullets can turn." Nejire didn't panic.
She dropped into a low stance in mid-air. She brought her hands together, leaving a small diamond gap between her fingers.
BZZT.
A highly compressed, pinpoint kinetic laser shot from her hands.
CRACK.
The laser hit the curved cement round perfectly in mid-air, shattering the bullet into dust before it hit her friend.
Flak lowered his rifle, his eyes going wide. "She just shot a curved bullet right out of the air."
"I'll handle him!" Tamaki yelled. "You two save the civilians."
"Ok" "No problem." Yuyu and the other classmate nodded.
Tamaki jammed his hand into his belt pouch.
He grabbed a specific mix of dried insect parts. A grasshopper, a rhinoceros beetle, and a mantis.
He chewed quickly and swallowed.
Thick green grasshopper legs formed over his calves. Heavy black beetle armor locked over his chest and shoulders. A razor-sharp mantis blade grew from his right wrist.
Tamaki bent his knees.
BOOM.
The concrete cracked under his boots. Tamaki crossed the street in a literal blur of speed, closing the distance in less than a second.
He appeared directly in front of Flak.
"The hell!" Flak panicked.
The high school kid was moving like a seasoned pro hero. The second siidekick couldn't track his speed normally.
He was forced to use bullet time.
Thump-thump.
Forcing a massive spike of adrenaline into his bloodstream. He pushed his heart rate up.
"..."
The world slowed down for the sidekick. He watched student swing the flat side of the mantis blade toward his chest.
Flak threw his body backward, barely dodging the blade by an inch.
Tamaki didn't pause. He planted his grasshopper legs, spun his hips, and delivered a heavy roundhouse kick directly into his stomach.
"Gah!" Flak flew backward and crashed into a pile of drywall.
The third sidekick aimed his rifle at Tamaki.
POP.
Mirio shot out of the ground directly behind the second sidekick.
"Boo!" Mirio smiled brightly.
Mirio chopped his hand down on the sidekick's neck, making him dizzy.
Flak dropped his red rifle. He stared at the five U.A. students.
They were already back to pulling the concrete off the HUC actor.
"These kids really are the monsters from the Sports Festival," Flak whispered to himself.
"Hey. Are you okay? Let's look for other students."
"Yes, I'm okay.. Fortunately I managed to activate bullet time in the last second our I'll be out of cold." The sidekick sweated while complaining to Flak.
"These guys aren't really normal second year students." Flak.
...
Across the ruined city block, things were much worse for the other schools.
A Ketsubutsu student and a Shiketsu student were working together near a flipped bus since they met together.
After all right now, the focus was to rescue civilians and not fighting each other.
The Ketsubutsu student used a mud quirk to stabilize the bus while the Shiketsu student tried to pull a trapped victim out.
BANG. BANG.
Two cement rounds flew through the air.
The Shiketsu student raised a thick wall of ice to block the shots.
But the sidekicks shooting at them knew the Gun Kata.
They fired their weapons at sharp angles, ricocheting the cement rounds off a nearby brick wall.
The bullets bounced around the ice shield.
SPLAT. SPLAT.
The fast-drying cement hit both students squarely in the chest, pinning their arms to their sides.
"Ah! I can't move!" the Ketsubutsu student struggled against the heavy cement.
The HUC actor under the bus hit a buzzer on his clipboard. "You failed to secure the perimeter. Minus thirty points. You both fail the exam."
The two students slumped their shoulders. The Shiketsu student looked down at the dirt, completely defeated.
A veteran sidekick walked out from behind the brick wall. He lowered his red rifle and walked over to them.
"Hey," the sidekick said gently, pulling a chemical solvent from his belt to dissolve the cement. "Don't beat yourselves up. Curving bullets and ricochets are incredibly hard to track."
The sidekick rubbed the back of his neck, giving them an empathetic smile.
"You guys did the rescue part perfectly," the sidekick told them. "You just got caught by a trick shot. Take the remedial courses, practice your spatial awareness, and you will absolutely nail it next time. Okay?"
The Shiketsu student wiped his eyes and nodded. "Thank you, Sir."
...
Location: Control Booth
Yokumiru Mera sat in his desk chair. He stared at the glowing monitors.
The timer hit zero.
He leaned into the microphone.
["The exam is over,"] Mera announced across the stadium. ["Please look at the screens for the final results."]
Mera turned off the microphone and let out a long, heavy sigh. He rubbed his temples.
He looked at the final passing numbers for the Takoba venue.
Out of the 118 students who started Phase Two, only 90 managed to pass the rescue portion.
Snipe's sidekicks were brutal. They caught a lot of Ketsubutsu and Shiketsu students off guard with those curving bullet techniques.
Mera's sister walked into the control booth. She held her digital tablet.
"Takoba is finished," she said. "The numbers are interesting. Ketsubutsu still took the majority, but Shiketsu had a massive jump in their tactical scores."
"I know," Mera grumbled. "Shiketsu completely changed their combat formations."
His sister tapped her screen. "It should be him right?"
Mera leaned back in his chair. He didn't yell. He just let out a tired, defeated laugh.
"Yes, it's him again," Mera whispered to himself.
...
Location: VIP Observation Box
The teachers in the VIP room stared at the massive television monitor.
The final roster showed the 90 students who secured their licenses.
Ketsubutsu lost a few students to the rescue phase, but they still dominated the board.
Shiketsu High held strong.
U.A. Academy only had five names on the list. Togata, Amajiki, Hado, and two others.
A teacher from a mid-tier school turned away from the screen and looked directly at Snipe.
"Snipe," the teacher asked, completely confused. "Your sidekicks were curving those cement rounds in mid-air. They were bouncing shots around physical shields. How many of your men can do this technique?"
Snipe crossed his arms.
"All of them," Snipe answered honestly.
Emi Fukukado and Hound Dog looked over.
"Gun Kata is really good." Hound Dog grunted.
"It is a martial art," Snipe explained, his raspy voice echoing in the quiet room. "It relies on specific geometry, arm momentum, and firing at the exact apex of a horizontal swing. It forces the bullet to catch the wind resistance."
The teachers stared at him and was very surprised.
"Did Kaito taught you that?" Emi asked.
Snipe looked at her.
"Yes." Snipe replied. "During his contract, years ago. He taught us the Gun Kata."
...
Location: U.A. Academy - Principal's Office
Principal Nezu sat behind his large wooden desk. He looked at the printed data sheets spread across the wood.
All Might sat in the chair across from him. He wore a yellow pinstripe suit.
Vlad King and Midnight stood near the back wall, watching the camera footage from the Takoba venue on a flat-screen TV.
"Sixteen total passes out of forty students," Vlad King grumbled, crossing his massive arms. "Class A got five. Class B got eleven. This isn't good."
Nezu took a sip of his tea.
"Shiketsu managed to have a contract with Kaito," Nezu corrected him. "They were dismantled by Shiketsu and Ketsubutsu in Phase One, and then struggled against Snipe's precision shooters in Phase Two."
"Yes, That's what I heard from Hound Dog. Shiketsu had helped from Mr. Arisaka." Vlad King replied.
Midnight stepped away from the wall. She walked over to the desk and rested her hands on the edge.
She gave Nezu a playful, knowing smile.
"He changed Ketsubutsu's old habits," Midnight listed them off on her fingers. "And now he also contracted Shiketsu High, Principal."
Midnight leaned her elbows on the table.
Midnight joked, "Maybe we should just hire him to teach here."
Vlad King refuted. "Don't forget he was always busy. He is the Golden Manager. He has contract with different pro heroes around the world."
"..." All Might looked at Nezu.
The small principal placed his paws flat on the desk. His dark eyes lit up with genuine excitement.
"That is a good idea," Nezu nodded firmly.
"We cannot allow the educational gap to widen," Nezu stated. "Maybe I can ask Kaito if he wanted to teach for a few semesters in UA."
"Kaito-shonen should agree right?" All Might smiled slightly. "Hopefully he won't be busy next year then."
