Maybe I really am a Villian
Chapter 300 - 1 V 3 [3]
Asher met the spear-wielding boy head-on. Their weapons immediately clashed, and the two began exchanging blows again, neither of them giving the other much room to breathe.
The boy with the sword also kept trying to attack Asher from another direction. However, whenever he attacked, Asher would easily dodge one strike, block another, and sometimes even counterattack immediately.
Asher used his free hand to its fullest. He didn’t hesitate to throw punches during the middle of a sword or spear exchange, catching the students off guard whenever they got too close.
The boy with the sword constantly had to keep his attention on both Asher and the incoming arrows because the archer girl continued firing toward the battle without stopping.
However, none of her arrows managed to hit Asher. Instead, whenever Asher got the opportunity, he would deflect an incoming arrow and change its direction toward one of the other boys.
The boy with the sword had to remain extremely careful. He couldn’t focus entirely on Asher because he also had to worry about the arrows suddenly being redirected toward him.
It was supposed to be three versus one.
But somehow, it felt opposite.
It felt as if they weren’t fighting one person at all. Asher used his punches, kicks, sword, and even their own arrows against them.
Because of the way Asher constantly changed his movements and attacked from different angles, it felt as if the three students were fighting three different people at the same time.
Whenever one student attacked, Asher responded immediately. He would dodge one attack, block another, counter with a punch, and sometimes redirect an arrow before continuing his attack.
The three students kept exchanging attacks with Asher, but despite everything they tried, not a single attack managed to injure him.
It seemed almost impossible to dodge every attack coming from three different directions. Yet somehow, Asher continued making it look completely possible.
The weapons of all three students had already been swung at Asher countless times, but not even one of them had touched his body throughout the entire fight.
The three students slowly began feeling despair as they realized just how enormous the difference between their skills and Asher’s was, despite having the exact same physical stats.
They had the same strength, speed, and cultivation level, yet Asher was still completely dominating the fight through nothing more than his combat skills and experience.
Meanwhile, Asher continued fighting with a wide smile on his face. He even laughed occasionally as he dodged another attack, looking as if he was genuinely enjoying every second of the battle.
The battle kept going without even a single moment of rest or stopping. All three students were completely focused on fighting, caring about nothing except defeating Asher.
They were now even ignoring their own pain and continued attacking Asher without hesitation. They knew that if they stopped for even a single moment, Asher would defeat them.
The pressure continued increasing as the fight went on. Their breathing became heavier, their movements became more desperate, but none of them dared to slow down.
Asher suddenly kicked toward the boy wielding the sword. The boy narrowly dodged the kick at the last second and immediately moved away from Asher to create some distance.
At the same time, Asher dodged the spear coming toward him from another direction. He shifted his body to the side before quickly turning his attention toward the incoming arrow.
Asher easily deflected the arrow with his sword and changed its direction, sending it directly toward the boy wielding the sword.
The boy had already expected the arrow to be redirected toward him, so he wasn’t surprised by it. He quickly moved his body to avoid the incoming arrow.
However, just after the arrow passed him, another attack came directly behind it.
Asher had also fired a mana bullet, timing it so that it followed the arrow almost immediately. The boy noticed the second attack and quickly moved again, narrowly avoiding the mana bullet.
After successfully dodging both attacks, the boy immediately looked back toward Asher. He wanted to return to the fight as quickly as possible so that Asher wouldn’t defeat the spear-wielding boy while he was alone.
But the moment he looked back, his expression suddenly changed into complete surprise.
He thought he had already seen every crazy thing Asher could do in the middle of a battle to catch his opponents off guard.
But he was wrong.
Right in front of him was Asher’s sword.
The sword was moving directly toward his throat while rotating vertically through the air. The unexpected movement made it almost impossible for the boy to react in time.
The boy’s eyes widened as he realized what was happening. He tried to move away, but Asher’s sword was already too close.
The blade struck the boy in the throat, forcing him backward from the sudden impact. His body staggered as he struggled to maintain his balance.
Eventually, the boy lost his balance and fell to the ground. He was badly injured and struggled to move, while the other two students immediately turned their attention back toward Asher.
The other two briefly looked at their fallen teammate before looking at Asher, who was now standing without his sword. He had no weapon in his hands.
Both of them immediately started attacking Asher again. They knew this was probably the best opportunity they had to defeat him while he had no sword to block or attack.
The girl quickly raised her bow and fired another arrow toward Asher. At the same time, the boy with the spear rushed forward and thrust his weapon directly toward Asher.
Asher calmly raised one hand and fired a mana bullet toward the incoming arrow. The mana bullet collided with the arrow and destroyed it before it could reach him.
The girl immediately prepared another arrow, but before she could fire it, Asher shifted his attention toward the spear-wielding boy who was already attacking him.
Asher stepped sideways and narrowly dodged the spear. The weapon passed beside him, missing his body by a small distance.
