Exiting the search page and closing the smart brain, Xu Xingguang took off her glasses and placed them back in the sterilizing case, then carried her nutrient meal box and walked back.

By now, the sky was fully bright, and all the townspeople had woken up, starting their busy and fulfilling day.

The main mode of transportation in the town wasn’t old-fashioned cars, but rather a sci-fi egg-shaped aircraft. After the owner enters the aircraft and takes a seat, they simply need to wear the corresponding glasses and announce the destination, and the aircraft will leap into the sky, taking them to the desired location.

People from the Divine Martial Realm called this mode of transportation a ’flying car.’

Xu Xingguang stood by the streetlight, looking up at the dazzling flying cars zooming back and forth above. For a moment, she felt like she was back in her childhood playing QQ Speed.

The townspeople quickly noticed Xu Xingguang.

Although the small town had a population of twenty to thirty thousand, Xu Xingguang’s appearance was striking, leaving a lasting impression on people.

A group of elderly people, wearing loose sportswear and holding long swords, had just returned from their morning exercise in the park when they warmly called out to Xu Xingguang: "Miss."

Xu Xingguang stopped, calmly and composedly gazing at the unfamiliar elderly men and women.

One elderly woman inquired, "Miss, you look unfamiliar, are you from our town? Just arrived?"

Indeed, no matter which world, there are always enthusiastic and gossipy aunts.

Xu Xingguang nodded, obediently responding: "I arrived last night."

"Where are you from? Did you come to our town for tourism or work?"

Xu Xingguang’s lips curled up in a gentle smile, responding with poise: "I came from the No.1 Infected Zone, arrived last night, here for an internship in Wuyuan Town."

Upon hearing the words "Infected Zone," the people surrounding her fell silent.

Just as Xu Xingguang thought they would shy away from her as though avoiding a plague, keeping their distance, one elderly man suddenly raised his loud voice, shouting: "Folks, come look! We’ve got an intern this year in our town, a youngster from the Infected Zone!"

Instantly, half the street’s people looked up at Xu Xingguang.

Xu Xingguang, sensitive to people’s emotions, didn’t sense disdain, disgust, or rejection in their gazes. More than anything, they felt curious and incredulous.

Xu Xingguang was like a panda sent abroad for exhibition, becoming an exotic sight.

Feeling slightly embarrassed inside, Xu Xingguang nodded lightly to them before quickly retreating to the dormitory with her meal box.

After consuming a tube of nutrient, Xu Xingguang prepared to report to the herbal medicine fields.

Looking around, the rolling hills visible all belonged to the jurisdiction of Cattle Hump. Most of the townspeople cultivated medicinal herbs on Cattle Hump or managed them. Of course, some were herb merchants.

Townspeople generally used flying cars for travel, but Xu Xingguang had just arrived, was penniless, and couldn’t even afford a toy car.

Central Yu Continent was a land where Doctors were held in high regard, and Wuyuan Town had a tower dedicated to medicines. Xu Xingguang needed to head to the medicine tower to check in and receive her work badge to begin her internship.

She followed the map’s guidance towards the medicine tower, facing a five-kilometer distance between it and her dormitory, which was quite far to walk.

As Xu Xingguang calculated in her mind what she could use to get a transportation device, she saw a group of energetic young boys and girls with diagonal backpacks, one arm carrying a balance scooter, coming out of a drink shop.

Xu Xingguang recognized the balance scooter tucked under their arms, a device capable of low-altitude flight.

"Hi."

Xu Xingguang’s voice interrupted the chatter among the group of young boys and girls.

The young kids paused, seeing Xu Xingguang standing on the sidewalk, they were momentarily stunned.

Xu Xingguang had changed into a black camisole top and loose-fitting black long pants. She removed her baseball cap, slightly shook her head, and her long black hair spilled onto her shoulders.

Standing backlight, the gentle sunlight softly streamed through her hair, making her appear like a beauty favored by the light.

People from the Divine Martial Realm typically had ordinary looks, the stronger the potential of superpowers a person possessed, the more attractive they tended to be. Ordinary Super Power Users generally had plain appearances.

Wuyuan Town was a small town with only thirty thousand inhabitants, and these kids were seeing a beauty resembling a movie star for the first time.

Having not faced life’s hardships yet, they were dumbstruck.

"Hello." Xu Xingguang, like a kind, amiable elder sister, waved at them.

The boys and girls came to their senses, all blushing as they greeted her. "Sister, are you a tourist from out of town?"
