Master's Untamed Wife

Chapter 1413 : Intertwined Hearts

“Won’t you say something to me?” asked Shui Xian when he went back inside the house to change into another suit. They were going to toast the guest after this but before that, Raelle had to change into another gown.

“Why didn’t you ask me to say something when you were making your heartfelt vows to me in front of everyone?” asked Raelle because now they were alone. What was the point of asking her to make a vow or say something to him now?

“I wanted to take that chance to let everyone know that feelings between us are more real than gold. But as for your vows… Those are only for me to hear. I don’t want anyone to be a part of that.”

“Tsk. As I said, I really can’t compete with you in sweet-talking,” said Raelle. As he took off the veil from her head, he looked at her gorgeous face and she held his hand against her face saying, “I don’t have any groundbreaking words for you. But I can promise you that as long as you are willing, I’ll always hold this hand of yours. No matter how many differences come in life, I’d still find a way to hold this hand tightly. I don’t have a habit of letting go so you can rest assured that you are my forever.”

Shui Xian was pleased with her words and shared a long and intense kiss with her, ruining her red lipstick. Raelle didn’t push him away even when he almost snatched all the oxygen from her lungs, she still couldn’t bring herself to push him away.

When Shui Xian pulled away, he looked at her misty eyes and almost had the urge to capture her lips again. But it wasn’t the time for that. The guests were still waiting outside. It wasn’t good for them to stay inside for so long.

So, with some reluctance, he pulled away. Thinking of the wedding night, he decided to have some control for now.

“Help me take these off,” once he pulled away, Raelle started ordering him around naturally as she pointed at the heavy headdress. This jewelry was really heavy, her neck was getting stiff from all this weight.

Shui Xian didn’t say anything and slowly started to take off all the jewelry that made her uncomfortable. After that, he also helped her out of the heavy red gown. Raelle took out thee champagne gold-colored gown and put it on. Shui Xian zipped it up for her and went to change into his own black suit too.

Then he called the stylists in and left the room to them.

The stylists didn’t take long as they only had to change Raelle’s hairstyle and make some minor adjustments to Raelle’s makeup. After getting ready again, she opened the door and smiled at Shui Xian who was waiting outside the door for her. Unlike the red gown which was flowy, this champagne gold-colored gown was body hugging. It embraced Raelle’s curves making them look even more alluring.

“How is it?” asked Raelle.

“Beautiful!”

“Don’t you get tired of saying it?”

“I’ll never get tired of saying it,” replied Shui Xian as he took her hand. “I think I enjoy it more and more now to compliment you. Every time it makes me feel how blessed I am to have such a beautiful wife.”

“Okay, okay. There is no need to continue.”

“But I can continue,” he told her.

“Oh? Then why didn’t you compose a poem for me when Yanyan asked you to?”

Shui Xian rubbed the nape of his neck and smiled awkwardly, “I was too impatient to get to you and really couldn’t focus at that time. My brain was chanting, ‘Need to get my wife. Need to see my wife.’ With my brain filled with all that, how was I supposed to compose anything? I couldn’t even think straight.”

“But your brain worked fine when you were looking for the shoes,” reminded Raelle.

“Isn’t it because all my senses came alive once I laid my eyes on you?”

Raelle’s lips curled up slightly and pushed his face away saying, “Look straight. Stop looking at me or you’ll fall.”

Shui Xian chuckled but listened to her words. He indeed needed to focus on the path ahead. He couldn’t stumble on this big day of his life.

As the night wore on, the festivities continued outside. Guests gathered around tables laden with traditional dishes and Western dishes. It could be said that there was plenty to choose from for everyone. Laughter and cheers echoed throughout the estate, the joyful atmosphere infectious.

Looking at this scene, Shui Xian realizes once again that he married Raelle. Although they had been married for a long time, she was rightfully hers in front of the whole world now. He didn’t know why he was feeling so emotional about it. But it was all so beautiful and perfect that it felt like a dream to him.

In his last wedding, since his father wasn’t really happy or excited about it, he had to arrange everything with the help of the servants. But this time, he was practically a hands-off groom who barely did anything. All he had to do was get together with his wife to pick the best option to their liking and the rest was none of his business.

Once they came out again, the crowd gave them a round of applause to welcome them with joyous smiles. Raelle and Shui Xian moved from one table to another to toast the guests. It took them almost over an hour to be done with all the guests. Raelle didn’t even realize before that there were so many people there.

She clearly saw how Mu Chenyan struggled with the guest list and kept adding or removing some people. There were certainly a lot of people who were purposely left out of the guest list and yet, when the time came, the guest list was still very long.

Raelle was glad that she was known for her anti-social character and that no one would force her to start a casual conversation. In fact, everyone would rather that she doesn’t even do the honor of coming to their table to toast as they couldn’t bear this honor at all. It was too much pressure to take for them. It was for this reason that everyone just toasted and said a few words of blessing and sent the couple to the next table.

Who would dare to force Raelle Xiang to drink more?

Shui Xian found it rather funny but he was also glad that it ended sooner than he expected. He was okay but neither did he want Raelle to drink too much nor did he want her to stand for so long and greet people.

Raelle and Shui Xian finally had a moment to themselves, slipping away from the crowd to stand under a grand, ancient tree at the edge of the venue decorated for the wedding ceremony. The red lanterns still flickered in the distance, casting a warm, golden light on the couple as they stood hand in hand. The breeze rustled the leaves above, and in that quiet moment, surrounded by the legacy of their families and the traditions that had brought them together, they shared a silent vow of love, their hearts intertwined as they began this new chapter of their lives.

Shui Xian tilted his head to look at her and she turned to look at him. As their eyes met, they smiled at each other. Shui Xian pulled up their intertwined hands and kissed the back of her hand piously. seaʀᴄh thё ηovёlFire .net website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

“Raelle!”

“Hm?”

“I love you!”

“I know,” she replied like she always did making Shui Xian laugh out loud.

It was just an answer he was very familiar with and was used to as well. But it filled his heart with different emotions every time. Before he could react, she kissed the side of his face standing on tip-toes.

“But you don’t know much…”

“About what?”

“About the fact that…” her lips moved closer to his ears and her hot breath made him feel itchy. He resisted the urge to capture her waist and pull her closer, waiting patiently for her next words. “I love you too.”

Shui Xian’s eyes widened for a moment with a brilliance that wasn’t seen often. The moonlight filtered through the leaves and the silvery moonlight caressed their frames as they stood gazing into each others’ eyes full of love for each other.

He finally held her waist in his arms and pulled her close saying childishly, “But I still love you more.”

“Is this a competition now?”

“I don’t care. I just love you more.”

“Okay, okay. I believe you. If I didn’t believe you why would I be standing here?”

Shui Xian smiled at her and dropped a kiss at the corner of her mouth saying, “But I know that you love me very much. After all, only my love can make you go through all this. Who is in the world capable enough to make Raelle Xiang wear such heavy dress and go through this troublesome ceremony? Only I can do it.”

“Feeling proud?”

“I’m on cloud nine.”

“Don’t fall.”

“It’s okay. I know you won’t let me fall.”
