Chapter 6100, Left The 3,000 Worlds

Once they returned back into the alleyway, Yang Kai closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath. It was as though he was trying to digest this decision once more, and the consequences that followed.

He then sent a message through Divine Sense to his Wives, to have them prepare. Since this was the last time they might be able to see their Eldest Children, they naturally had to bid them farewell.

Not to mention… he had to break the news to his Parents, especially his Mother…

In all honesty, he hoped his Wives would be able to support him in holding back his Mother. He also now realised how hard his Father must have worked while Yang Kai was still young, to keep her calm enough to accept his departures, be it for High Heaven Pavilion or any of his other solo adventures.

Still, it seemed like all plans for this would be dashed as Wu Lun suddenly appeared behind the Twins. None of them had even been able to sense him before Wu Lun hugged them around the neck and smiled to Yang Kai, “Alright. Now that you’ve bid your farewell, I’ll be taking them away.”

Yang Kai immediately instinctively locked the Space around them as he shouted, “Wait!” However, it was far too late. No, it would not have worked in the first place. If it did, Wu Lun would not be considered to be such a dangerous being.

Phasing through Space like a ghost, seeming to swim through solid matter without a care in the world, the frozen Space could not hinder him in the slightest as Wu Lun simply fell backwards with the Twin in his arms.

At the same time, Yang Ji and Yang Xu instinctively tried to resist. The former tried to manipulate Space Principles while the latter tried to manipulate Time Principles. However, it was all in vain.

Principles seemed to freeze over and were unable to respond. It felt as though their arms and feet were tied, as something they did as naturally as breathing was now being hampered.

Shock filled their faces as they were about to try to call out to their Father but… he had disappeared from sight by then.

With Wu Lun’s disappearance, Yang Kai immediately received another message. This time, it was from Xia Ning Chang.

“Husband! Yang Ling… she’s gone!” 

Sensing the panic in her voice, Yang Kai could not help but frown. He immediately used his Divine Sense to sweep through this world, and as she said, Yang Ling was truly gone. He could not sense her presence, much like he could not sense Yang Ji, Yang Xu and Wu Lun…

“That bastard!” Yang Kai immediately clenched his teeth so tight one could hear them scream.

The flooring underneath him started to crack, and walls of buildings started to tremble.

However, before he rushed out and did something rash, Shi immediately appeared and cordoned off the area. He quickly deployed the Heaven Devouring Battle Law and used it to absorb any excess energy Yang Kai was leaking out.

Be it his aura or just his voice infused with a trace amount of his Qi, the children surrounding the school would not be able to handle such pressure. If Yang Kai were to release just a trace of it, even if there were Arrays protecting the students, they still might get hurt.

“Stop! Are you planning to destroy the school by meaninglessly rampaging here!?” Shi roared and held his fist tight to contain the excess energy.

Thankfully, Yang Kai was quick enough to collect his cool and he took deep breaths to calm himself. His eyes still blazed with fury though, as he was about to take a step, Shi stopped him. “You can’t even sense him. What is the point of trying to go after him?”

“I–” Yang Kai wanted to speak but Shi was quick to point out.

“Just stop here. We both know that he has taken them to the other Plane. Rather than spend time worrying about them, you might as well console your Wives first.” Shi added, and sighed. “Part of you still doesn’t want them to go, I understand that. But, the arrow has left the bow, there is no taking it back now.”

“If you yourself are not convinced, what are you going to say to the rest of your Family members? Su Yan is only being held back by your Sister right now. The rest of your Wives are also unconvinced, but have held back since you’ve said you will leave the decision to the Twins. Now that Yang Ling has been taken, how do you think they would react?”

“Yeah. But what if…” Yang Kai tried to rebut but Shi immediately shot him down.

“You did not even explain to them the limitations of our Open Heaven Realm Cultivation Method earlier. It is obvious that you are as reluctant as your Wives to see them go. But, you know better than to limit their potential. As for their safety, with that thing inside of them, relying on them, you think they would be in any real danger over there?” Shi added, “Just trust them. They are your children after all. As for Yang Ling, I’m sure they have some plans for her.”

“If they do not wish to permanently draw the line between them and the Twins, they would do well to protect her. Otherwise, maybe this is an opportunity for her as well?” Shi said in a calm tone.

“*Haa…*” Yang Kai took a deep breath, sighed and then turned to the sky, his thoughts messy. His aura had also deflated and Shi finally stopped operating the Heaven Devouring Battle Law.

Yang Kai turned towards Shi and wanted to thank him, but before he could, Shi put his palm up.

“We don’t have much time for small talk. Go deal with your women.” Shi said as he used his thumb to point behind him, where he could sense Space being torn.

At this point, Yang Kai’s expression changed. Now, he had a face that had written ‘Brother, can you please help me this once?’ on it.

However, Shi, the eternal bachelor, looked straight into Yang Kai’s eyes and immediately disappeared from sight.

““Let go!”” Yang Ji and Yang Xu screamed out.

“Sure.” Wu Lun readily answered with a smile as always.

They had been only hugged for what felt like a second, and taken away in that very instant to see another area. This time, it was oddly a more familiar area to the two of them…

After all, they were both located at the bottom of High Heaven Academy, at where the Grand Array lay.

It was a massive underground facility which was used to house the Arrays made to facilitate the different functions of the school. Naturally, this place was massive enough to basically cover the whole school, and it was below ground.

Due to the nature of Arrays, there were markings all over the place, complex markings that were made of different materials that glowed with multi-coloured light. It was strangely mesmerising for any viewer. Yet, to the Twins, this just raised more questions. After all, they were obviously in a secured location that was protected by powerful Arrays. Yet, they had been so easily transported here. 

Furthermore, due to the sensitive nature of this location, were there no guards or observers? Due to the nature of Arrays, certain points were more fragile than others. They could not have some random child coming in here and picking up some glowing rock. There had to be someone overseeing this place.

Yet, within this massive space, Yang Ji and Yang Xu could not detect a single presence other than theirs. 

“Wait. Why are we here?” Yang Ji’s eyes narrowed as he scanned his surroundings.

Wu Lun ignored him and directly addressed, “I’ve already brought them here. Come out and do the rest.” before disappearing once more.

And, the one he spoke to naturally appeared, out of Yang Ji, and turned to address the Twins directly.

“For it is through the Array here that our path to the long-sought Plane shall be made to manifest.” The Heavenly Demon Queen finally came out to explain.

And, the instant she did, Wu Lun had returned. This time, with two more guests: Mei Qing, the receptionist, and Yang Ling.

Mei Qing was in an unconscious state, and was being carried by Wu Lun over his shoulder. As for Yang Ling, she was just held by the hand, and led here.

When Yang Ji and Yang Xu saw Yang Ling, their eyes widened with shock.

[Why is she here!?] They both simultaneously thought but had not voiced it out before the Heavenly Demon Queen opened her mouth to ask Yang Ling, “Are you certain?”

Yang Ling, suddenly ‘kidnapped’, did not seem surprised and just gave a nod.

The Heavenly Demon Queen looked to Wu Lun and stated, “If I am not mistaken, it falls upon me to conduct our passage to the Source Realm as the first undertaking. Once we have arrived, I trust the remainder shall rest in your hands.”

“What else? This was your whole plan, wasn’t it? That’s why you modified the Arrays here.” Wu Lun rolled his eyes.

“I understand.” The Heavenly Demon Queen’s eyes opened wide for a brief moment but she gave a nod at the end.

“Then, let’s begin.” The Heavenly Demon Queen stated and she closed her eyes.

Soon, part of the Grand Array glowed brighter than the rest. This was an Array hidden within the Grand Array. Naturally, the Heavenly Demon Queen had modified the Grand Array to hold various hidden functions.

For example, one of them was to allow the Twins the ability to use their Qi even within school. The other was selective concealment, to conceal the presence of a few selected people when they were within the Grand Array. Naturally, other functions were included such as how she had retained leverage over Wu Lun and the most troublesome one, which was a Teleportation Array to the Source Realm… 

Naturally, there was a worry that Yang Kai might change the Arrays here at any given moment. So, the Heavenly Demon Queen had also made it such that if one part was modified, she would be alerted. 

“Wait a second! What is Yang Ling doing here!? Hey!” Yang Ji grew more panicked as he noticed they were about to be transported away.

“Yang Ling, you knew about this!?” Yang Xu rushed over and questioned.

However, before they could get any answers, Wu Lun clicked his tongue and said, “Just stay still. Even if that friend of yours is a genius in the True Dao of Spirit Arrays, it is still not easy to modify another’s work and add so many functionalities with no additional resources. I can’t risk anything happening to the four of you.”

Once more, Yang Ji and Yang Xu felt as though the Principles around them were frozen. Worse yet, their physical bodies could not move, as though they were being pressed down in all directions by mountains.

It did not hurt if they stood still, but once they tried to so much as blink, they could feel as though their bodies were being torn apart by a thousand blades.

“Don’t hurt my Older Brother and Older Sister!” Yang Ling, seeing them suddenly stop moving and were in awkward positions, pouted and complained, but it did not work on Wu Lun. For the man was genuinely willful to the extreme.

The Heavenly Demon Queen soon opened her eyes and the world turned bright.

At that very moment, all three children were no longer in the 3,000 Worlds.
