Chapter 6509: Rank Nine True Dragon World Spiritist
The light rays revolving around Chu Feng began to seep into his body. His spirit power flared, revealing his current level of strength before swiftly growing.
Rank four True Dragon.
Rank five True Dragon.
Rank six True Dragon.
Rank seven True Dragon.
Rank eight True Dragon.
Rank nine True Dragon.
As Shangguan Fengquan had predicted, Chu Feng didn’t just stop at rank seven True Dragon. Instead, he pushed to rank nine True Dragon in a single breath. He was now only a step off from reaching Heavenly Dragon.
Sikong Changsheng was flabbergasted.
“He made so many breakthroughs?”
Chu Feng stood up and inspected the changes in him. Despite having made so many breakthroughs within a short span of time, he found that he could easily channel his rank nine True Dragon World Spiritist’s psyche.
“That legacy is incredible!”
Even Chu Feng was awed.
In truth, he had intentionally tried to slow his breakthrough earlier, knowing that advancing too fast could destabilize his foundation. Even when a shortcut to reach greater heights dangled in front of him, he still made sure to advance slow and steadily lest problems emerged.
Despite his carefulness, he still advanced straight to rank nine True Dragon World Spiritist.
But when he realized that the legacy was so powerful that it didn’t even destabilize his foundation, he immediately regretted pacing himself. If he had just gone all out, there might have been a chance he could reach Heavenly Dragon World Spiritist.
Granted that such a breakthrough would likely result in an unstable foundation, and that might come back to bite him in the future, but his objective for seeking the Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect’s legacy was to reach Heavenly Dragon World Spiritist.
That was the minimum requirement for him to contract with the Spirit God Clansmen, so that they could release their sealed power and recover.
However, that regret only remained for an instant.
There was no point crying over what couldn’t be changed. Not to mention, the Spirit God Clansmen wouldn’t have wanted Chu Feng to compromise his potential to save them, especially since there was still time to spare.
“How are you feeling, Chu Feng?” Sikong Changsheng made his way to Chu Feng’s side.
“Elder, this legacy is formidable. I made six breakthroughs in a single shot and am now at rank nine True Dragon.” Chu Feng opened his palm and revealed his spirit power.
“Of course. Do you know how many of our experts died to obtain this power? You got lucky,” Sikong Changsheng said.
He neglected to mention that none of the experts of the Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect had been able to assimilate the legacy.
Just then, Eggy opened her eyes. Her following words made Sikong Changsheng so mad that he nearly collapsed to the floor.
“Chu Feng, why are you only at rank nine True Dragon?”
“Only... What do you mean by only? Chu Feng raised his spirit power from rank three True Dragon to rank nine! Do you know how long it took those rank nine True Dragon World Spiritists out there to reach their current level?” Sikong Changsheng questioned.
“Old man, I know that rank nine True Dragon World Spiritists are incredible. It’s because it is your Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect that I harbor higher expectations... but I guess rank nine True Dragon is not too bad. It’s acceptable,” Eggy replied with a smile.
Sikong Changsheng didn’t know how to respond. This was neither a compliment nor a praise.
“Old man, we’re only a step away from reaching Heavenly Dragon now. If you have anything good, take it out and help Chu Feng advance to Heavenly Dragon,” Eggy said.
“Lass, don’t get too greedy. Steady progress is the key to building a strong foundation for the future. I believe Chu Feng understands that as well, right?”
Sikong Changsheng looked at Chu Feng, only to see the latter looking at him with expectant eyes.
“Elder, my foundation is very sturdy. I’m more than happy to accept anything you have that can help me advance my spirit power,” Chu Feng said.
“You two... are really... Birds of the feather flock together!” Sikong Changsheng sighed.
But Chu Feng still pressed on. “Do you have it or not, elder?”
“Of course not! You grew up in the world of cultivation; you should know what it means to be a Heavenly Dragon World Spiritist. How can it be that easy to reach that level? It’s only a matter of time before you reach that level, so there’s no need to rush,” Sikong Changsheng said.
“But I’m in a rush, elder,” Chu Feng said.
“There’s nothing I can do. You’re on your own,” Sikong Changsheng replied helplessly.
Chu Feng chuckled. He turned to Eggy and asked, “What about you, Eggy? Did you get anything good?”
“We’ll talk later.” Eggy opened the gate to his World Spirit Space and stepped in.
“How mysterious,” Sikong Changsheng remarked.
Chu Feng looked at Sikong Changsheng and asked, “Elder, what legacy did she obtain?”
“I’m curious to know as well,” Sikong Changsheng replied.
“All right. I’ll ask her.”
Chu Feng projected his consciousness into his World Spirit Space, only to see Eggy holding a scroll. Eggy had blocked the name of the scroll with her energy, so Chu Feng couldn’t tell what it was.
“Is that what you got, Eggy?” Chu Feng asked.
“Yup.” Eggy nodded.
“Is it a world spirit’s martial skill?”
“You can consider it so.”
“Why are you keeping me in suspense? What kind of skill is it?”
“It’s a secret. You just have to know that I’m satisfied with this.”
Eggy’s smile was so sweet that Chu Feng thought his heart would melt. Her face was so beautiful that he could spend his entire life staring at it.
“Fine. As long as our Eggy is satisfied.”
“Chu Feng, don’t you have other matters to attend to? You should go out and check on your friends. Shoo shoo, I’m going to cultivate now,” Eggy said as she unfurled the scroll.
“Yes, Milady Queen. I’ll be taking my leave.” Chu Feng retracted his consciousness from his World Spirit Space.
Sikong Changsheng stared intently at Chu Feng. “So, what is it?”
All he knew about Eggy’s legacy was that it was Shangguan Fengquan’s means. Having witnessed Shangguan Fengquan’s true strength, he was extremely curious about what that legacy entailed.
“It’s a world spirit’s martial skill, but my Eggy refuses to elaborate on the details. It should be quite powerful.”
“Definitely powerful,” Sikong Changsheng replied affirmatively.
“Elder, I’d like to meet my friends.”
“Follow me.”
Sikong Changsheng rose into the air, and Chu Feng followed him.
