Chapter 6465: The Netherworld Sect is Behind It?

“Heavenly God level?”

The origin energies of the Heavensword Sacred Palace’s members must have been much stronger than those of normal cultivators.

“I can see why they conceal poison in their origin energies now. They are an incredible nourishment for world spirits,” Eggy said. She was delighted to have both recovered from her injuries and advanced her cultivation.

This was a massive surprise.

“Since that’s the case, we should specifically look for people from the Heavensword Sacred Palace after we enter the Ninth Galaxy. If they turn out to be scoundrels, we’ll slay them and offer them up to Milady Queen,” Chu Feng said.

“Sounds great to me.” Eggy’s eyes glowed in excitement. “Tianjian Canhua mentioned that the Heavenly Sacred Temple has 36 subordinate sacred palaces, and more than a dozen of them survived into the Ancient Era. The origin energies from the other sacred palaces could also be highly nourishing. Don’t spare any of them. They shall all become my nourishment!”

Like Chu Feng, she needed far more resources than usual to advance her cultivation. This was her first time tasting such potent origin energies, and she was very fond of it.

“Definitely! We shall target those affiliated with the Heavenly Sacred Temple once we enter the Ninth Galaxy,” Chu Feng said.

“Wonderful!” Eggy was overjoyed, but her face soon turned grim. “Hold on, Chu Feng. Why didn’t you make a breakthrough? Didn’t the Heavensword Sacred Palace leave some cultivation resources behind? Are they insufficient?”

“I need a bit more to reach rank seven True God level, but it isn’t a problem. I should be able to make a breakthrough if I just cultivate a bit more. My priority is to reach Heavenly Dragon World Spiritist first, though,” Chu Feng said.

“I know. I overheard your conversation with the Spirit God. You should scan the area with your Three Realms Divine Eyes and look for clues. Let’s quickly find the remnant and obtain the key fragment,” Eggy said.

“Mm.” Chu Feng pulled his consciousness back to his body and observed the surroundings.

He first tried his Heaven's Eyes and managed to find some clues—there were traces of the Netherworld Sect’s aura, even though they had attempted to erase them.

He formed a hand seal and activated the Three Realms Divine Eyes. The traces became much more conspicuous.

“It’s the Netherworld Sect,” Chu Feng said.

“The Netherworld Sect? Why would they be interested in the Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect’s remnant?” Eggy asked.

That was also what Chu Feng was curious about. The Netherworld Sect was filled with cultivators; they shouldn’t have any interest in a world spiritist remnant.

“Hm?”

Chu Feng suddenly cast his gaze into the distance.

A carriage was making its way over. It was a simple carriage carrying a huge wooden bucket, driven by a young man. The young man had a dark skin tone and had a radiant smile, looking like the type who was passionate about life.

“Chu Feng, is there something special about that brat?”

Eggy didn’t understand why Chu Feng was paying attention to the young man.

The young man had an ordinary face and a weak cultivation. His background was likely not noteworthy, considering he was driving a carriage despite living in an Upper Realm, where better forms of transport were available.

The horse was not a mortal horse, but it was only used by poorer people.

“He carries the Netherworld Sect’s aura inside him,” Chu Feng replied.

“Oh? Does he have a Netherworld Embryo planted in him?” Eggy asked.

“I don’t know, but it doesn’t feel like a Netherworld Embryo. Something is unnerving about his aura.” Chu Feng shook his head as he continued observing the young man.

Few people visited this area as the Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect’s remnants were famous for being dangerous. Even the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion had lost plenty of people to them, let alone others.

But since the disappearance of the Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect’s remnant, the area grew safer and more peaceful. Curious people began visiting this place to check it out. As a result, the sides of the valley were filled with people.

It had become a must-visit scenic spot for cultivators passing by the area.

The young man drove his carriage to the crowd and took out a flag that read ’Home-brewed flower tea. Feel free to have a drink.’ He shouted, “Have a taste of my home-brewed flower tea. It’s sweet, fragrant, and delectable. It’s guaranteed to perk you up right away. It’s beneficial to cultivators and world spiritists alike, and it’s free. Have a taste!”

Many scoffed upon hearing his words. He was too weak for anyone to believe those words.

“Since he carries the Netherworld Sect’s aura, could the flower tea be spiked? The Netherworld Sect might have sent him here to poison others,” Eggy asked.

“Let me take a look.”

Chu Feng dispelled his concealment and disguised himself as a youth. He walked up to the young man and asked, “Is it free?”

“Yes, it’s free. Would you like to have a taste?”

The young man lifted the wooden bucket’s lid and scooped out a bowl of flower tea.

Chu Feng took a sip and was surprised. The young man might have lied about the flower tea being beneficial to one’s cultivation, but the rest was all true.

“It’s good,” Chu Feng replied.

“Have more if you like it.” The young man was delighted to receive Chu Feng’s compliment.

“Is it that good? Let me have a taste, too,” Eggy said.

“May I have two bowls?” Chu Feng asked.

“Of course. Give me a moment.”

The young man grabbed another bowl and filled it up before topping up Chu Feng’s bowl.

Chu Feng took the flower tea. A mini spirit formation gate appeared next to him.

“Woah, you’re a world spiritist?” The young man recognized the spirit formation gate.

Eggy was so eager to try the flower tea that she couldn’t wait for Chu Feng. She reached out and grabbed the bowl herself.

“It’s a female world spirit! How fragrant. She must be a beautiful lady,” the young man said.

Eggy took a sip of the flower tea, and her face lit up in delight. “Waa, it’s a flavor I love! It must have been made traditionally.”

Chu Feng asked, “Oh? What do you mean?”

“I can taste the breath of life,” Eggy replied.

“I’ll make it for you if you like,” Chu Feng replied.

“Out of spirit power?”

“Of course not. Don’t you prefer it to have the breath of life?”

“So you say, but you haven’t even made the buns you promised me yet.”

Eggy pouted before taking another gulp of the flower tea. Her smile deepened as her eyes curled in pleasure. She looked incredibly cute.
