Chapter 6396: The Ninth Galaxy’s Entrance
Everyone was worried for Chu Feng.
There were countless runes around them, and each of them harnessed devastating energy. Even one was already beyond their means to deal with, but so many of them were converging into Chu Feng’s body at a shocking speed.
Fortunately, Chu Feng seemed to harness another realm inside him, allowing him to hold those runes without worrying about his capacity. He remained perfectly calm as those runes entered his body, not showing the slightest pain at all.
The crowd had no choice but to trust him.
The runes were finally all drawn into Chu Feng’s body, but no one dared to utter the word. Not only did the dangerous aura not disappear, but it felt even more intense than before now that they were concentrated in a single spot.
The threat wasn’t over yet.
The earlier arrangement of the runes served to draw out their true power, and Chu Feng drawing them into his body was only the first step. What he needed to do now was to fuse the runes inside his body together to form a complete formation.
This formation couldn’t be manifested outside. It needed a medium, and the medium had to be a person. And Chu Feng was the medium.
He had to construct the formation to peer into the Immemorial Cemetery’s secrets.
Soon, the dangerous aura vanished.
Yuwen Yanri’s gaze changed. A brilliant light shone from his chest.
“Yanri, what’s wrong?”
The Divine Body Heavenly Mansion’s experts gathered around Yuwen Yanri, afraid that the latter would meet with a mishap. Fortunately, his condition remained stable despite the light shining from his chest, and even the light soon disappeared.
It felt like the light was merely to draw their attention.
Yuwen Yanri took off his shirt and noticed a change in the rune imprint on his chest.
This rune imprint had fallen on his chest when he accepted the legacy from the earlier tombstone realm. Shortly after, the entire tombstone realm glowed as if he had obtained some kind of tremendous power.
Back then, the rune imprint was pitch black, and there was nothing special about it. Now, it was emanating a dim light, and it felt much more divine than before.
“I can feel it now. Chu Feng, I can feel it now!” Yuwen Yanri exclaimed.
Chu Feng must have done something to result in the change in his rune imprint.
“You’re indeed one of them, Brother Yuwen.” Chu Feng looked at Yuwen Yanri with a smile, his expression suggesting that he must have figured something out.
“One of them? What are you referring to?” Yuwen Yanri asked.
Chu Feng descended to Yuwen Yanri’s side as he explained, “The Seven Stars Orbs are the crux to escaping from this place. The Seven Stars Orbs refer to seven tombstone realms, and the tombstone realm you inherited a legacy from is one. As you received the rune imprint, the tombstone realm was imbued with star power. Your rune imprint is the key to channeling that star power.”
“I sense the star power, but I don’t think I can control it yet. It seems to be sealed,” Yuwen Yanri said.
“That tombstone realm’s star power has been unsealed, but you’ll only be able to channel it after the remaining six tombstone realms have been unsealed,” Chu Feng explained.𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
“So, we have to unseal the seven stars, channel the star power, and break the Immemorial Cemetery’s seal in order to escape from this place?” Yuwen Yanri clarified.
“That’s right,” Chu Feng replied.
“Where are the six remaining stars?” Huangfu Zhantian and the others walked over and asked.
They were concerned about this as their lives were at stake.
“I can sense the locations of the first three stars. The first one is the tombstone realm, where Brother Yuwen obtained his legacy. The second one is further away, deep in the Immemorial Cemetery, and it appears someone has obtained it. The third one is not too far away from us, and someone is currently deciphering its legacy,” Chu Feng explained.
“What should we do, Chu Feng?” the Huangfu Heavenly Clan’s Clan Chief asked.
“The second star is too far away, and someone has already obtained it. There’s no point heading there now. Let’s head to the third star.”
The others agreed with Chu Feng’s decision, and they immediately set forth.
Chu Feng, the Huangfu Heavenly Clan’s Clan Chief, Huangfu Zhantian, Huangfu Shengyu, the Divine Body Heavenly Mansion’s Mansion Master, Yuwen Yanri, Shen Hui, and the other Spirit God Clansmen were gathered inside one of the warships’ palaces.
“Why do you look so worried?” Chu Feng asked.
“Young friend Chu Feng, you mentioned we’ll need all seven stars, but someone else has obtained the second star. Only the person who deciphered that tombstone can wield its star power, right? We’ll need that person to escape from the Immemorial Cemetery, but finding an individual in this vast space is as good as searching for a needle in the ocean,” the Huangfu Heavenly Clan’s Clan Chief said.
“You don’t need to worry about that. The rune formation in my body connects me to the Seven Stars Orbs. I can only sense three stars at the moment, but the connection deepens with time. Eventually, I’ll be able to pinpoint the locations of those who have obtained keys to the star power. On top of that, the key returns to the star when a key holder dies, so we can reclaim it,” Chu Feng replied.
“I see. I guess there’s no need for us to worry too much.”
The Huangfu Heavenly Clan’s Clan Chief and the Divine Body Heavenly Mansion’s Mansion Master heaved a sigh of relief. This meant they could locate all key holders to cooperate with them, and if they refused to listen, they could just kill them and re-obtain the keys.
“But there’s something we need to worry about.”
“Something we need to worry about?”
The crowd became tense once more. Something Chu Feng needed to worry about must be extremely concerning for them.
“Each person can only obtain one legacy of the Seven Stars Orbs. Now that Brother Yuwen has obtained one, he won’t be able to claim the legacies of the other stars. I can take on one legacy as well, but only one. Brother Shengyu, you might have to take on a legacy too,” Chu Feng said.
“Haa. I’m not confident about that. I’ll give it my all, but I might still require your help in the end,” Huangfu Shengyu said.
The Huangfu Heavenly Clan’s Clan Chief felt bitter inside.
Huangfu Shengyu had thought he was an extraordinary person from a young age due to his superior bloodline. Confidence was something he had never lacked. Yet, to think a day would come when he declared his strength was limited! His failure to grasp the martial enlightenment earlier must have been a huge blow to him.
Huangfu Zhantian placed his hand on the Huangfu Heavenly Clan’s Clan Chief’s shoulders and relayed a voice transmission, “It’s not a bad thing for him to know his shortcomings.”
“Mm.” The Huangfu Heavenly Clan’s Clan Chief nodded.
“Chu Feng, are you worried that we won’t be able to claim the remaining legacies? Is there an age restriction to the Seven Stars Orbs’ legacies?” Huangfu Zhantian asked.
“There is no age restriction, but it’s no easy feat to obtain one. However, our biggest concern is not the legacies,” Chu Feng replied.
“Ah? What is it?”
“Lying in the Immemorial Cemetery is an entrance to the Ninth Galaxy.”
