Chapter 6209: Rank Two True God

Chapter 6209: Rank Two True God

“Hahahaha…”

Eggy rolled around the World Spirit Space, laughing her head off.

“Chu Feng, I don’t think you have a choice but to help her. This is a debt left by your master and your father. Hahahaha!”

Chu Feng was also at a loss for words. He would have never thought the scammers would be his master and his father. At least his master had given it a try, but his father gave up right away.

“Hm?” Jie Shanxian suddenly narrowed her eyes.

She stared at the face of Chu Feng’s father before looking at Chu Feng. “Somehow, the two of you resemble each other.”

“Do we?”

Chu Feng dared not admit that person was his father. Now that he thought about it, he had never dared to admit their relationship before anyone who knew his father, for all of them always had a conflict with his father.

“There is some resemblance, but you look much better,” Jie Shanxian said. “Chu Feng, look closely.”

She began forming a series of hand seals.

Chu Feng breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, Jie Shanxian only saw the similarities between the two of them and didn’t think any deeper into it. He quietly thanked his mother for her passing down her looks to him.

He carefully studied Jie Shanxian’s movements.

After Jie Shanxian was done with her demonstration, she turned to Chu Feng and said, “What I have just shown you is the tempo for the hand seals’ transformations. Next, I will decipher each hand seal for you, so make sure to listen well.”

“Elder, I have remembered all the hand seals,” Chu Feng interjected.

“Ah?” Jie Shanxian was taken aback. She wasn’t too sure what Chu Feng was saying.

So, Chu Feng began forming the hand seals.

Jie Shanxian’s mouth fell agape.

Not only did Chu Feng change his hand seals at the same tempo as her, but his movements were precise even in the complicated portions. It was a perfect replica of her demonstration!

Memorizing the transformation of the hand seals was important, but so was understanding how to utilize each hand seal. This was a very complicated series of hand seals. Even talented world spiritists would take at least a month to master it.

Yet, Chu Feng pulled it off flawlessly without her guidance.

“You are an incredible talent,” Jie Shanxian remarked.

“Elder, there’s something I’d like to ask. I don’t want to lie to my friends about what I am going to do. If my friends ask about you, may I tell them your true identity?” Chu Feng asked.

“You may tell them what you are going to do, but I’ll have to ask you to withhold my identity. Don’t let them know my name or my appearance,” Jie Shanxian replied.

“I understand.” Chu Feng nodded.

“All right, you should focus on your cultivation. Your two friends have made a breakthrough and are waiting for you,” Jie Shanxian said.

“As expected of Little Fishy and Brother Shaoyu.”

Chu Feng wasn’t surprised to hear about their breakthrough.

His surroundings suddenly changed. His eyes were closed, and he was still amid his cultivation, but he could sense the changes in his surroundings without opening his eyes.

Jie Shanxian had dispelled the illusion.

He noticed a massive formation shrouding the cavern; it was puffing out a thick aura as if it were in an intense battle. It was an isolation formation, designed specifically to isolate phenomena.

Little Fishy and Xianhai Shaoyu’s breakthroughs would have induced phenomena, so the Immortal Sea Fish Clan’s Clan Chief prepared an isolation formation to conceal them lest they catch the attention of others.

Little Fishy and Xianhai Shaoyu had stopped cultivating, but there were still some cultivation resources lying around. They had intentionally left them for Chu Feng.

Chu Feng hadn’t stopped cultivating while conversing with Jie Shanxian in the illusion, but that distracted him from grasping the martial enlightenment he had absorbed.

To Little Fishy and Xianhai Shaoyu, it looked like he had been cultivating all this while, and the reason he hadn’t made a breakthrough was that he needed more cultivation resources to overcome his bottleneck.

Chu Feng did require more cultivation resources than them to make a breakthrough, but he had already absorbed enough natural energies. He was merely distracted.

So, he changed his hand seal and focused on his martial enlightenment. He soon found the impetus for a breakthrough.

Boom!

Thunder rumbled in the isolation formation.

Nine-colored lightning started settling in, which caused cracks to appear on the strained isolation formation as well.

Elder Liu quickly whipped out ten talisman papers imbued with the Ancient Era’s aura and fused them into the isolation formation, reinforcing it. Even so, the cracks continued to widen.

“Lord Clan Chief!” Elder Liu turned to the Immortal Sea Fish Clan’s Clan Chief.

This isolation formation was already reinforced so that it could contain the phenomena from Xianhai Shaoyu and Little Fishy’s breakthroughs, yet it was cracking now even though Elder Liu had just further reinforced it.

The phenomenon Chu Feng induced was stronger than they had imagined. They would have to pay a hefty price to contain this phenomenon.

The Immortal Sea Fish Clan’s Clan Chief understood what Elder Liu was driving at and said, “No matter the cost, we can’t let this phenomenon show.”

Elder Liu whipped out hundreds of Ancient Era’s talismans with a wave of his sleeves. Even so, he still looked at the Immortal Sea Fish Clan’s Clan Chief with reluctant eyes as he said, “Lord Clan Chief, this is all we have.”

“Use them,” the Immortal Sea Fish Clan’s Clan Chief replied without hesitation.

Elder Liu gritted his teeth.

Instead of throwing all the talisman papers into the isolation formation in one shot, he tossed them in one by one. Even so, it didn’t take long before he tossed a hundred in.

It pained his heart so much that he winced.

Each of these talisman papers was an Ancient Era treasure. It wouldn’t be a stretch to call them limited edition, priceless treasures.

Fortunately, after tossing two hundred more talisman papers in, the isolation formation finally stabilized. Elder Liu breathed a sigh of relief.

He only had around fifty of them left, but that was better than nothing.

“My grandson-in-law is formidable. To think that it would be this hard to contain his breakthrough phenomenon!” Little Fishy’s grandfather exclaimed.

“I would have been shocked to see such a powerful phenomenon before, but I’m hardly surprised now after what happened at the God Clan,” Little Fishy’s mother said.

Little Fishy’s father and grandfather smiled.

Soon, the nine-colored lightning fused into a single lightning bolt that zapped down on Chu Feng. Its prowess was weaker compared to a normal breakthrough, but the outcome was the same.

Chu Feng’s aura rose to rank two True God level.
