"Could this Demon Tiger be the Falling Star Sky-Splitting Tiger of the Southern Forest’s Tiger-head Tribe?"

Shui Linglong looked at the crimson giant tiger blocking in front of Yan Hu, a hint of surprise and doubt flashing across her delicate, pretty face.

"There was a circulation method hidden in that roar just now; it’s definitely not an ordinary case of Beast Taming. Plus, with that ever-burning flame on its tail, it can’t be mistaken."

Gu Xifeng stared at the crimson tiger; even her usually indifferent face grew a bit more grave.

Hearing this, Shui Linglong’s Daimei slightly furrowed. The Falling Star Sky-Splitting Tiger was also the king of beasts in the Southern Forest; in the Tiger-head Tribe, only the Clan Leader’s blood relatives could command it.

Since a Falling Star Sky-Splitting Tiger had appeared here, this young Wild tribe warrior’s identity was likely not simple. Shui Linglong had no idea how Luo Feng had gotten involved with a powerhouse from the Wild tribe.

Rumor had it the Falling Star Sky-Splitting Tiger could roar down the stars themselves, the most powerful existence among the millions of Demon Beasts of the Southern Forest. Shui Linglong and Gu Xifeng both wanted to see Yan Hu’s strength, so they stood quietly to the side without intervening.

"Xiaoyun, wait."

Yan Hu stopped the Falling Star Sky-Splitting Tiger, which was about to go berserk. Looking at Yan Feihua, he dug at his ear. "I just want to spar with Luo Feng. I don’t have time to play with you lot."

"How impudent!"

"Sisters, let’s give him a proper lesson!"

The nearby Linglong Hall female Disciples all wore angry expressions, sharp gazes fixed on Yan Hu.

"All of you, fall back."

A clear, crisp voice rang out. With a wave of her hand, Yan Feihua forced the surrounding Linglong Hall Disciples back a hundred meters, then walked to a spot fifty paces in front of Yan Hu.

"Since Junior Brother Luo Feng isn’t here, I’ll be your opponent."

Yan Feihua looked at Yan Hu and spoke calmly. Though she had a good temperament, at this moment she was truly angered.

Hu...

As soon as she finished speaking, an eerie warm wind suddenly swept across the entire area. Radiant mists flickered in and out around Yan Feihua; her figure floated up lightly, giving off a sense of weightlessness.

Roar!

Facing this version of Yan Feihua, the crimson giant tiger let out a low, angry roar from its throat. Even the Purple Lightning Unicorn Eagle at the side shot sharp light from its eyes, watching Yan Feihua warily.

"Oh? So you’re a高手 too. Since Luo Feng isn’t here, I’ll just play with you for a bit first..."

Yan Hu sized Yan Feihua up with a glance, interest glowing in his eyes. His body suddenly shuddered; the fur coat draped over him exploded apart, revealing the terrifying muscles beneath, each one looking as if cast from molten iron.

"Ah!"

Seeing this scene, several female Disciples cried out in alarm.

"Remaining unshaken in the face of shocks is the true bearing of a Martial Artist. With this little bit of composure, how will you compete with those young geniuses at the New Dragon Rankings Conference?"

Yan Feihua scolded them.

At her words, the few girls who had shrieked wore ashamed expressions and cupped their fists. "Thank you for the guidance, Senior Sister."

Yan Feihua turned back toward Yan Hu and said, "Make your move."

"Good!"

Yan Hu laughed loudly, stomping his foot on the ground.

Boom!

The ground collapsed, cracks spider-webbing in all directions. Yan Hu’s figure shot toward Yan Feihua at extreme speed, the shockwave he kicked up blasting countless chunks of rubble into the air, the momentum terrifying.

Fifty paces!

Thirty paces!

Twenty paces!

Yan Feihua was just about to strike back when Yan Hu’s flying figure suddenly halted; he turned his head to gaze into the distance.

Far away, two figures tore through the sea’s surface, streaking toward them at extreme speed, twin waves rising in their wake.

"Senior Brother Luo Feng!"

"Senior Sister Ling Qingwu!"

"Senior Brother Luo Feng and Senior Sister Ling Qingwu are back!"

The surrounding Linglong Hall Disciples also noticed the newcomers, joy blooming on each face.

"Haha... Luo Feng’s here. I won’t play with you anymore."

Catching sight of Luo Feng, Yan Hu let out a loud laugh, changed direction, and shot toward Luo Feng at a speed surpassing the sound barrier, shouting:

"Luo Feng, take a punch from me!"

Luo Feng had already noticed Yan Hu, but he hadn’t expected the latter to suddenly charge straight at him. His brows knit; he leaned forward, his speed abruptly surging as afterimages trailed behind him. He punched out.

Their fists collided, compressing the air between them before it exploded outward.

Boom!

The tremendous sound was like thunder crashing. In an instant, the ground within a hundred-meter radius around them sank several meters.

The next moment!

Luo Feng’s body was sent flying backward despite himself, while Yan Hu stood firmly where he was.

"What a ferocious punch. His strength isn’t even on the same level as Yi Wuxue’s."

Steadying himself, Luo Feng exhaled a turbid breath and looked at Yan Hu, his gaze flickering.

"Luo Feng, it’s been a year and you haven’t improved much at all."

Yan Hu wore a smug grin, laughing heartily as his right foot stomped out a whirlwind. In an instant, his body shot to Luo Feng’s front. "Take another punch!"

Luo Feng’s eyes flashed. The tiny bit of remaining Yuan Qi in his body erupted; dazzling flame light surged skyward in an instant, and the Floating Slaughter Demon Image appeared in the void.

"Dominating for Thousands of Years!"

Boom!

Their fists collided once more, their force exploding. This time, neither of them could keep their footing and they both staggered backward.

Bang!

With one foot, Yan Hu stomped the ground into cracks and halted his retreat. Raising his head to look at Luo Feng, he bared a row of white teeth and laughed. "Heh heh, interesting. But it’s still far from enough. If this is all you’ve got, you’re definitely not my match today. Xiaoyun!"

Roar!

With a tiger’s roar, the crimson giant tiger appeared at Yan Hu’s side. Man and tiger shot out at the same time, encircling Luo Feng.

Luo Feng’s brows drew together; he was just about to unleash Demon Form Technique to respond.

"So the people of the Wild tribe are all the type to take advantage of others’ weakness."

Just then, a voice suddenly rang out.

Thud!

Yan Hu’s charging figure abruptly stopped. He looked toward the speaker and asked, "Taking advantage of others’ weakness?"

Ling Qingwu nodded. "That’s right. Luo Feng has trekked all this way and exhausted his Yuan Qi. If you fight him now, isn’t that taking advantage of his weakness?"

"So that’s how it is."

Understanding dawned on Yan Hu. He slapped his own head, then looked at Luo Feng. "No wonder those two punches just now were so soft, like you hadn’t had enough to eat. Since your Yuan Qi is exhausted, why didn’t you say so earlier?"

Luo Feng gave a wry smile. He had wanted to say it, but he needed a chance to speak first.

"Forget it. Winning like this would be meaningless. We’ll continue after you’ve recovered." Yan Hu said.

Luo Feng sized him up and asked, "Why are you here?"

Yan Hu chuckled. "I came to spar with you, and to participate in the New Dragon Rankings Conference while I’m at it. Our battle a year ago never decided a winner. You haven’t forgotten, have you?"

"Of course I remember."

Luo Feng nodded. "Since you’re entering the New Dragon Rankings Conference, we can settle things there. No need to fight now."

"Whenever you say, that’s when it’ll be. I’ll accompany you anytime. As long as I can fight you at full strength, I’ll be satisfied. Right, I’ve been training hard this entire year. If you haven’t improved much, you might not be able to withstand even three of my punches." Yan Hu thumped his chest, full of confidence.

"Is that so? Unfortunately, you probably won’t get that chance."

Luo Feng smiled faintly. He rather appreciated Yan Hu’s straightforward, bold nature.

As he spoke, the aura of a Martial Artist at the peak of the Ninth Layer of the Spiritual Rotation Realm burst from Luo Feng’s body.

Yan Hu’s eyes lit up; he laughed excitedly. "You’re really strong. Looks like this trip wasn’t in vain."

He was never one to tolerate boredom, yet he’d stayed in the Tiger-head Tribe training for an entire year, all for this very day.

Luo Feng’s strength set his blood boiling.
