Chapter 720: Chapter 362: Quest Board; Soul Gathering Stele Promotes

"The bounty board will be divided into the Realm of Ten Thousand Races Quest Board and the Personal Quest Board."

Cheng Zongyang said to the Ring Spirit, "The Realm of Ten Thousand Races Quest Board will be a list of requests issued via the Immortal’s will. Anyone can accept them. They’ll be divided into types like exploration, combat, collection, and escort. Rewards will include Points, Elixirs, Magical Artifacts, Cultivation Techniques, and Spirit Stones."

"The quests will be graded by difficulty, allowing people of different Cultivation levels to take on different quests. They can also be differentiated into multi-person quests and solo quests."

"We need to set rules for accepting quests to prevent people from maliciously accepting quests they can’t complete. So, we’ll also need to establish penalty rules..."

"...As for the Personal Quest Board, the types of quests are the same. It’s a board where anyone in the realm can post their own tasks, which will then be displayed in everyone’s booklet.

Anyone can post a quest for just ten Spirit Stones. The content and the reward amount are set by the individual. Modifying the content or amount requires a service fee of five Spirit Stones."

"The reward item or payment must be deposited into the Ten Thousand Races Spirit Seal. It will then be locked by the rules of the Realm of Ten Thousand Races, making it impossible to withdraw, discard, or transfer."

"Each quest will be listed for three days. If no one accepts it after three days, it will be taken down, and the Spirit Stones will not be refunded..."

"Establish a personal reputation system, a leveling system, and a rating system..."

"..."

Cheng Zongyang laid out the various rules one by one for the Ring Spirit to record.

’In his mind, this quest system meant that he could now delegate certain tasks to others through the Realm of Ten Thousand Races, reducing his own expenditure of Points on the purchase section.’

For example, the various Arrays needed for the subsequent Immortal Mountain plan could be assigned to people from the Cultivation Immortality Realm. This would not only reduce Luo Daoist’s workload but also save a significant amount of Points.

There would be many such needs in the future.

When he finished, the Ring Spirit prompted, "Should this be integrated into the leaderboards, or established as a separate feature?"

Cheng Zongyang replied without hesitation, "Establish it separately as the ninth rule. Also, create detailed filtering rules for quests so people posting or accepting them can sort by the types they’re looking for. For example, combat can be broken down into killing Martial Artists, Qi Cultivation practitioners, Foundation Establishment cultivators, or Exotic Beasts, Demon Beasts, and Fierce Beasts. Collection can be divided into gathering minerals, Spirit Medicines, herbs, and so on. You handle the detailed breakdown."

The Ring Spirit replied, "Alright."

In about the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, the new rules drafted by the Ring Spirit were presented before Cheng Zongyang. All they needed was his confirmation to be implemented.

After carefully reviewing the contents, Cheng Zongyang confirmed them.

Next, Cheng Zongyang added the actual quests he needed to the Realm of Ten Thousand Races quest board.

The first was for a Tier One, Tier Two, and Tier Three combination Array that integrated both Spirit Gathering and Defense.

The second was for the production of Red Blood Pills. For this particular task, he posted the corresponding recipe and raw materials, essentially asking people to craft the pills and turn them in to complete the quest.

He also marked these two quests as (Benefit Quests).

The final quest was the Ten Thousand Races Spirit Seal Promotion Quest.

Those who accepted the quest would have a quota for recruiting people to bind with the seal. For every person they successfully bound, they would receive a reward of ten Points.

This part would require the Ring Spirit’s help.

These were the only three quests for now, and they were all intended to be long-term.

Of course, he had considered a fourth long-term quest: a plan to collect Spirit Veins.

However, he had already laid out a one-year collection plan for himself, and he wasn’t about to let it be disrupted. He would wait until he had collected most of them and had inevitably drawn the attention of the Cultivation Immortality Realm. Only then would he post the Spirit Vein quest.

That way, he could kill two birds with one stone and also muddy the waters for the people of the Cultivation Immortality Realm.

As long as the rewards were set as Points and Mirror-Breaking Class Elixirs, or Elixirs that could extend one’s life by over a hundred years, he was certain people would be tempted.

At that point, it would also be time to expand access to the passage.

Once he finalized all the rules and content, the requisite Points were deducted, and the update was synchronized to everyone’s booklet.

Cheng Zongyang looked at the map. The multicolored markers representing people, which had been moving all over the place, almost all came to a halt the moment the rules were synchronized.

Cheng Zongyang smiled at the sight.

Those three long-term quests were extremely beneficial for ordinary people and Martial Artists.

He could just imagine how many Martial Artists and ordinary people would take on the third quest to promote the Ten Thousand Races Spirit Seal. Even a considerable number of Qi Cultivation Practitioners would likely do it. The reason was simple: it was too easy.

As for the Red Blood Pills, basically every faction would take on that task, while the Array quest would be done by those with the expertise.

Thus, these three quests effectively covered all individuals and factions.

Cheng Zongyang could imagine what would happen next, so he paid it no further mind and went to the Cultivation Room to practice his Cultivation. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ

Time passed slowly. When Cheng Zongyang heard Ma Yue’s voice from outside, he immediately left the Realm of Ten Thousand Races.

「It was now nighttime.」

"Boss." Ma Yue’s smile widened when he saw Cheng Zongyang open his eyes. "What brings you here so early?"

As he spoke, he immediately presented a freshly poured cup of tea.

Cheng Zongyang took it, set it aside, and said with a smile, "I had some things to take care of, so I came early. It seems you haven’t been slacking on your Cultivation."

He sensed that Ma Yue’s Cultivation had improved; he was now at the Third Grade. This showed that he had been taking the Elixirs Cheng Zongyang left for him and had been cultivating diligently. What surprised him even more was that despite such rapid progress, his internal qi and blood were not unstable, which meant his increase in Cultivation was very steady.

He asked for the reason, and Ma Yue responded, "Boss, it’s all thanks to that kid, Lin Feng. The Cultivation Technique he practices can actually help me temper the qi and blood in my body. That’s how I managed to avoid the problem of an unstable foundation."
