Chapter 702: Chapter 354: Cyan Profound Sect

He peeled off the Sealing Talisman and opened the box. A fishy smell emanated from within, but Cheng Zongyang paid it no mind. ’I have the Adaptation Talent and the North Nether Swallowing Qi Method. Even if this were poison gas, I could just adapt to it or refine it.’

Looking closely, he saw it was just a black bead.

He didn’t waste any time and immediately appraised it.

——

[Sea Flood Dragon Pearl]

Description: The Inner Core of a Sea Flood Dragon Beast, a Tier Three Sea Beast from the deep sea. A Sea Flood Dragon Beast is not a true flood dragon, but merely a Sea Beast that possesses a flood dragon bloodline. Contains a massive amount of Water Attribute Demon Power.

Tier: Tier Three

Use: Can be used to forge Magical Artifacts or in Alchemy.

Points: 30,000

——

"I didn’t expect a real windfall." Cheng Zongyang couldn’t help but smile as he read the description of the Sea Flood Dragon Pearl.

Thirty thousand Points. He couldn’t bring himself to absorb and refine it.

After all, there were many ways to improve his Cultivation; there was no need to waste thirty thousand Points. And Points were exactly what he was lacking right now.

If he wanted to earn no less than three million Points in the next two and a half years to seize the Spirit Vein, he needed to accumulate as many Points as possible.

Currently, large quantities of materials for Red Blood Pills and other ingredients for Elixirs were being collected from the Immortal City, then sent to the Realm of Ten Thousand Races to be crafted into finished products for sale. On top of that, there was the Wilderness Rice and numerous sacrificial items that could also be sold on consignment.

One could say he was earning Points around the clock.

This meant Luo Dingran had to constantly supervise everything. But Luo Dingran had other tasks, so Cheng Zongyang had authorized two other Soul Slaves to act as his assistants, specifically to handle consignment sales and acquisitions.

Luo Dingran only needed to personally handle the pricing of new items; once that was set, the rest could be handled according to routine.

Just then, he heard shouting from the outside world. Cheng Zongyang handed the Sea Flood Dragon Pearl to Luo Dingran to manage and then left the Realm of Ten Thousand Races.

His consciousness returned to his body. He opened his eyes and saw Xu Dong had arrived alone.

"Greetings, Boss!" Xu Dong said, once again cupping his fists.

Cheng Zongyang looked at the much tanner Xu Dong and, noticing that his Cultivation had already reached the Sixth Grade, gave a knowing smile.

"You’ve worked hard these past few months. I was in seclusion for half a year; sorry to have kept you waiting."

Xu Dong cupped his fists. "You are too kind, Boss. It is my honor to work for you. If not for your promotion and trust, I would not be living this well today."

Cheng Zongyang didn’t say any more and got straight to the point. "Where did you put the Soul Crystal Stones?"

Xu Dong said, "I have not failed your expectations, Boss. The collection is complete. The boxes have all been sealed, and Chairman Cheng has taken them into his Magical Treasure Space."

Cheng Zongyang nodded slightly. "Good. You won’t need to go out for a while. The Commerce Association provides a fixed monthly share of cultivation resources for our own people. Cultivate diligently, enter the Dao through your Martial Dao as soon as possible, and become a Cultivator. Only then can you take on greater responsibilities."

"Yes! I will not fail your expectations, Sir!" Xu Dong replied, suppressing his excitement.

After Xu Dong left, Cheng Zongyang went downstairs to the Commerce Association’s Magical Treasure Space and retrieved the two large boxes filled with Low Tier Soul Crystal Stones.

He had originally put out a request to purchase a large number of Low Tier Soul Crystal Stones in order to increase his number of Soul Slaves, giving him more manpower.

Xu Dong had retrieved the Crystal Stones in two batches, for a total of two thousand stones.

However, the number of people he had to work with now somewhat exceeded his expectations. One Low Tier Soul Crystal Stone required two corpses to reconstruct a Soul Slave. Two thousand Crystal Stones meant four thousand corpses, but that still left 1,343 people remaining.

’That means I’m still short six hundred and seventy-one Crystal Stones.’

He didn’t see it as a problem, though. The remaining one thousand-plus people could just be locked up for now. As for the missing six-hundred-some Crystal Stones, he could go collect them himself.

After all, the battlefields to the north and south were still littered with piles of bodies and plenty of Chaotic Burial Mounds.

Conveniently, he was already planning to investigate the ruins where Tang Feng died, and he also had to visit the Black Cloud Marketplace to the south. He could stop by the old border along the way to bury the Soul Crystal Stones. Killing three birds with one stone.

Over the next few days, Cheng Zongyang waited. When the death row inmates were delivered to Tiantuan Village, Cheng Zongyang used his Divine Sense to kill four thousand of them, then brought all the bodies into the Realm of Ten Thousand Races.

The remainder were left to be imprisoned in the Immortal City’s main prison; if there wasn’t enough space, they were to be held in Tiantuan Village. He would deal with them after he returned from the ruins.

Within the Realm of Ten Thousand Races, just outside the Hall of Ten Thousand Races.

Luo Dingran led over thirty Soul Slaves, swiftly arranging the corpses and placing the Soul Crystals among them.

"First, go put in a purchase order for seven hundred Low Tier Soul Crystal Stones. We still have death row inmates we haven’t used," Cheng Zongyang first instructed Luo Dingran, giving him another task.

"Yes, Boss!" Luo Dingran acknowledged with cupped fists.

An hour and a half later, the vast plaza was filled with four thousand neatly arranged corpses.

Without hesitation, Cheng Zongyang began the reconstruction process for all of them at once!

What followed was a spectacular yet eerie scene.

Billowing plumes of red mist churned, creating an incredibly bizarre spectacle.

Soon, as the mist coalesced into vortexes, the reconstructed individuals began to emerge one by one.

There were both men and women, and every one of them was naked.

But neither Cheng Zongyang nor the others paid it any mind, as they had seen this several times before. Cheng Zongyang simply ordered them to pick up the clothes on the ground and get dressed.

Next, Cheng Zongyang had the Soul Slaves begin registering each new person’s Talent and copying his own Skills to them.

Registering their Talents was mainly to allow Luo Dingran to assign them tasks based on their specialties and delegate them to work in the other chambers.

There were two thousand people, and Cheng Zongyang inspected them one by one, while two Soul Slaves behind him continuously recorded their names, Talents, and Skills.

An hour later, once all the information was recorded, Cheng Zongyang gave a speech to the crowd, then left the rest of the arrangements to Luo Dingran.
