The ’Master’ did not directly reveal their identity.

They merely glanced around the surroundings and said:

"This is not the place to talk, would the Blade sovereign be willing to step aside for a discussion?"

Ning Xiyin nodded:

"I’m fine with whatever.

"It’s just that this young lady beside you...

"Li Weiran and his group are sinister. She is poisoned, and we cannot be unguarded."

The ’Master’ smiled slightly:

"As expected of the Blade sovereign, even at this juncture, you still care about others.

"Don’t worry, this child may be a bit naive, but her learning is extraordinary, this poison... cannot harm her.

"Moreover, haven’t we already obtained the antidote?

"Please, Blade sovereign!"

"Please."

Ning Xiyin forced himself to stand, but his limbs were weak.

The ’Master’ saw this and took out an elixir from his bosom to give him.

Ning Xiyin, without suspecting anything, directly swallowed it.

Immediately feeling the rampant poison within his body disperse.

With this poison gone, the injury was nothing to him.

He immediately left with the ’Master’ and the group.

As they headed towards Liu Jing Mountain, they walked for about two hours before seeing a Yizhuang.

Walking further for less than an hour, they would reach the small town at the foot of Liu Jing Mountain.

However, the ’Master’ did not continue forward but headed directly to the Yizhuang.

Up to now, Ning Xiyin still couldn’t figure it out.

This person said to move aside for a discussion... which he agreed to.

But this move took more than two hours.

And the town was right in front of them, yet he didn’t go and insisted on visiting the Yizhuang.

Could it be that this person is here to bring someone home?

As wild thoughts ran through his mind, his pace could not help but slow down.

The ’Master’ glanced back at him:

"Mr. Ning?"

"Ah?"

Ning Xiyin was stunned, hurriedly catching up a few steps:

"Thinking, lost in thought."

The ’Master’ smiled:

"That’s normal, let’s keep going."

Ning Xiyin stopped thinking further, regardless of what this group wanted.

After all, they saved his life.

If they went to the Yizhuang to bring someone home, returning to the roots.

He could help with some chores.

If they were going to meet someone for a duel, he should help.

In any case, the life-saving grace must be repaid.

Moments later, the group reached the hill beside the Yizhuang, where the ’Master’ stood silently with hands clasped, gazing at the sky.

Two women stood on either side, one squatting on the ground, vigorously poking at the ground with a small stick found from somewhere.

The other crossed her arms, holding a sword, her expression cold.

Ning Xiyin was originally prepared to follow quietly, regardless of what they said or did, without voicing his opinion.

However, seeing them like this, he couldn’t help but ask:

"What are we waiting for?"

"Waiting for the sky."

The ’Master,’ a good-natured person, replied with a smile:

"Just wait a bit more."

"Alright..."

Ning Xiyin nodded, feeling as if he had just escaped a tiger’s den, only to enter a wolf’s lair.

Somehow, the ’Master’ doesn’t seem like a normal person.

These two girls beside him were also quite peculiar.

He remembered that earlier in the tavern, the modestly pretty girl said the other girl was the future Third Master.

What could this future Third Master mean?

Or perhaps, the current Third Master was going to die?

Speaking of which... claiming oneself as the Master, was this ’Master’ possibly a mountain bandit?

Thinking of this, Ning Xiyin couldn’t help but furrow his brows.

If that’s the case, how should he repay this debt of gratitude for saving his life?

He couldn’t possibly assist evil. That was absolutely impossible.

But if he fails to repay the favor, he wouldn’t be at peace either...

He usually keeps track of small favors like treating him to drinks and meals.

Let alone this life-saving grace?

This was truly difficult.

As his mind battled within, he suddenly felt a chill on his face. Looking up, at some point, the sky had become overcast and it looked like it was about to rain.

The ’Master’ was delighted at this sight:

"This rain is an unexpected joy... now it’s almost night, let’s go, it’s the right time."

As he said this, he glanced back at Ning Xiyin:

"Mr. Ning, I’m afraid I’ll have to trouble you a bit."

"?"

Ning Xiyin looked confused, then suddenly saw the ’Master’ extend his hand, the wind from his fingers swiftly approaching.

"Hmm?"

Ning Xiyin was startled.

The young lady at the ’Master’s’ side had already made an impression on him with her skill. Now, with the ’Master’ suddenly taking action, his technique was even more exquisite.

He instinctively moved to block.

But before he could place his hand on the sword hilt, he heard a rapid succession of snapping sounds.

Already, over a dozen acupoints in front of him had been struck.

The speed was simply incredible.

Ning Xiyin’s eyes widened, utterly confused and extremely frustrated.

Confused, as naturally he couldn’t understand why the ’Master’ suddenly acted?

If they intended to act against him, why save his life?

Frustrated... was it simply because he didn’t check the almanac before going out today?

He found a tavern wanting to drink, only to fall into a trap there.

Hardly had he met a benefactor, yet it seemed they had another purpose too?

Twice in one day, he was subdued. How could this not cause a knot in his heart?

He could still hear the ’Master’ speaking:
