Chapter 128 Brother Tiger? Why does it look like Gorilla? (2)

Zhang Wei let out a deep sigh upon hearing the voice, his gaze locked onto the man rushing towards him.

“Hey, come with us!” Two men surrounded him, brandishing baseball bats.

Zhang Wei sighed once more, a sense of resignation washing over him.

“Didn’t you hear us? Come with us!” one of the men demanded.

A glimmer of sharpness flickered in Zhang Wei’s eyes as he took a step forward.

Whoosh!

In a split second, his body moved with lightning speed, his fist connecting with the first man’s mouth, resulting in a powerful impact.

*Boom!*

Immediately, the man’s body hurtled back, crashing into the wall with a resounding thud.

Zhang Wei stared at his hand, a hint of blood staining his skin, and a tinge of sadness crossed his face. “Filthy, you polluted my hand,” he muttered quietly. However, those words seemed to echo in the ears of the second man as whispers of impending doom.

His legs quivered with hesitation, unsure of whether to advance or retreat.

“And look at this, even my shirt is torn. Would you be willing to pay for it, you fat pig!?” Zhang Wei shouted, his words directly aimed at Tang Shen.

The astonishment on Tang Shen’s face quickly morphed into anger, his complexion turning a fiery red with humiliation.

“Attack this bastard, all together!”

“Whoever manages to kill him first will receive a reward!”

Tang Shen’s booming announcement filled the room.

Immediately, a chorus of shouts erupted.

“Brother Tiger is generous!”

“Brother Tiger’s heart is as vast as the country!”

“Everyone, attack him together! Don’t disappoint Brother Tiger!”

Zhang Wei observed the increasing number of people surrounding him with interest.

Suddenly, he spoke up, his voice carrying through the room, “How much are you all being paid?”

“Heh, what are you trying to bribe us with, little boy?!”

“Yes, his brain must be malfunctioning to oppose Brother Tiger!”

“Hehe, you’ll soon face death, so there’s no need to save your money.”

Ignoring their jeers, Zhang Wei’s voice rang out loud and clear, resonating throughout the entire floor, “I will offer 100,000 HLD to each and every one of you if you stop fighting and are willing to switch sides! Don’t doubt me, for I am the owner of this company and I certainly have the means to pay!” He then sat back, enjoying the chaos of whispers that ensued.

Of course, he had no intention of actually paying them. He merely wanted to test their loyalty and see how they would react.

Their faces began to display signs of hesitation, with some even coming to a complete stop in their tracks.

As the tension in the room escalated, Tang Shen could feel the situation slipping out of his control.

He quickly shouted, desperation lacing his voice, “Do not listen to him! Lin Ruoxi is the true owner of this company!”

“Do you really want to go against the Wang Family!?”

His words jolted the crowd, causing some to momentarily pause and consider the offer that Zhang Wei had put on the table.

Greed started to flicker in their eyes.

But the mere mention of the Wang Family sent shivers down their spines, and fear washed over their faces.

With a unified movement, they took a step forward, ready to pounce on Zhang Wei.

Zhang Wei’s eyes gleamed as he validated what he had revealed to Rose earlier.

Money was merely a means to attain power, and there were other factors that determined a person’s strength.

In the present moment, the mention of the Wang Family had overridden their materialistic desires, prompting them to resist the allure of money.

However, he was not one to hesitate. Taking the first step, he swiftly kicked away the man closest to him.

*Boom!*

“Arghhh!”

*Boom!*

“Argh!”

*Boom!*

“Ugh!”

One after another, their bodies were sent flying, as if they were nothing more than swatted flies. The scene unfolded like a well-choreographed action movie.

Wu Xue, who was still being held by Ma Cheng, stood there in complete astonishment. Her eyes widened, completely captivated by the spectacle before her.

Meanwhile, Tang Shen’s face contorted with anger, growing uglier with each passing moment. It was as though he had just been forced to consume a pair of foul-smelling socks. 𝑂𝑽𝓵xt.𝗇𝓔t

Unaware of how his actions were perceived to others, Zhang Wei continued to deliver blow after blow until none of his attackers remained standing.

He then approached the stunned Tang Shen, who was now questioning his own confidence.

“Are you known as Brother Tiger?” Zhang Wei asked, a hint of amusement in his voice.

Tang Shen narrowed his eyes, attempting to salvage some of his lost dignity. “Yes, that’s correct. And I will give you one last chance to surrender!” he replied, his voice laced with false confidence.

Zhang Wei sneered, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “Brother Tiger? More like Brother Gorilla! Why am I suddenly surrounded by animals these days? First the dog Ye Feng, and now a gorilla like you!”

His words caused Tang Shen’s blood to boil, his fists clenched with rage. “You bastard! This Lao Tzu will teach you a lesson in humility in today!” he shouted, extending his hand and throwing a powerful punch towards Zhang Wei’s abdomen.

Zhang Wei stood his ground, staring directly into Tang Shen’s eyes. As the punch connected, a thunderous boom echoed through the air, accompanied by gasps from the onlookers.

But to everyone’s astonishment, Zhang Wei remained unmoved, while Tang Shen’s expression turned even uglier, his fist seemingly hitting a solid wall. It was as if he had struck steel!

Staring at the man who smirked like a demon, a chill ran down Tang Shen’s spine. “B-Brother, how about we sit down and talk…?” he stammered, attempting to hide his pain.

Zhang Wei sneered and swiftly retaliated with a kick to Tang Shen’s abdomen.

“Ugh!”

Despite Tang Shen’s imposing size, nearly double that of Zhang Wei, he was sent flying through the air like a kite, coughing up blood.

The next scene was a horrifying spectacle as a man, massive as a gorilla, endured a relentless beating.

His body turned blue and black under the merciless blows that rained down on him in front of the Lin group headquarters.

The shocked civilians couldn’t help but halt their steps, their mouths agape, as they captured the gruesome scene with their phones and hastily shared it on social media.

“What in the world are you doing? Stop!” Suddenly, a voice pierced through the chaos, reaching Zhang Wei’s ears.

He momentarily ceased his scrutiny, narrowing his eyes towards the newcomer before redirecting his attention to Tang Shen.

Blood streamed from his battered nose, his face a canvas of vivid bruises, and his torn clothes hung loosely on his form, rendering him an image of destitution.

A satisfied smile danced on Zhang Wei’s lips as he backed away, his gaze fixated on Leng Yan. She stood among the onlookers, clad in her usual attire, drawn to the commotion by some other purpose but unable to resist the allure of the gathering crowd.

In an instant, the shrill sound of sirens pierced the air, accompanied by the screeching of numerous tires.

The chaos had already alerted the police.

Leng Yan pushed through the throng, her expression a mix of concern and exasperation. “Why on earth did you have to create such a scene? Can’t you accomplish anything quietly?” Her frustration dripped from every word, causing Zhang Wei to find amusement in her presence.

“I was holding back,” he replied, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. “They spoiled my shirt. If it wasn’t for the inappropriate place, I would have put an end to all of them.”

“Y-You!?”

“B-Brother, have mercy!”

Leng Yan stood there, utterly astonished, while Tang Shen, having overheard Zhang Wei speaking so casually about taking lives, collapsed to his knees in desperate and pleading.
