Chapter 306 - 306: Ch 306: Another Visitor from an Other World

So after Weiss was done with her initial checking, she started to explain what she had learned to the grandson and master Ghost Hand.

As master Ghost Hand heard what Weiss had to say, his eyes widened in some kind of realisation. He had actually been a frog in the well and had not thought that something like a different power system could exist.

Even though he was aware of magic, he had no idea what it was. Because of Jonus, Weiss at least had a basic knowledge of the magic from the very beginning but for most people, understanding what magic was from just hearing how one could destroy even a world with it, it was something almost impossible.

But after listening to Weiss, it was as if a veil was lifted from his eyes. And now, quite a few dots in his mind got connected.

But as Master Ghost Hand was about to talk about them, he suddenly realised that in his excited and hopeful state of mind, he had been extremely rude to these kind ladies and gentlemen. He had not even introduced himself properly and was making them to stand in his super hot workshop.

So he immediately stopped discussing this matter and apologised. Then he made his grandson to bring some tea and sweets to the living room and escorted everyone there himself.

Just like that, Weiss and her group found themselves in a quite well decorated living room and they were also served a decent spread of various sweets alongside some expensive looking green tea.

The green tea was extremely common in this region and from the aroma, everyone was able to understand that among green teas, this one was definitely a top notch blend.

So, everyone decided to enjoy the tea first before talking. And only after Weiss was done thoroughly exploring the taste of this high quality tea, she continued to talk with Master Ghost Hand who had already introduced himself as Natsuyami Toroda.

As Weiss asked him about his past, Toroda did not hide anything told her everything he knew. Especially about the clues that he himself had just connected.

Toroda's mother was a simple simple village girl but his father was a mysterious person. He himself had seen his father only three times in his whole life and as that was in very early times of his life, he had forgotten almost everything about him.

But now with his mind suddenly becoming hyper active, he remembered a few things. Even though his father looked similar to the people of this region, there was still something different about him. But what kind of difference was that, for a young Toroda, there was no way for him to understand that.

He had also heard his father speaking an unknown tongue when Toroda had seen him for the last time. So there was a good chance that he was from a different world than this one.

Even though Toroda had grown up without the presence of this father in his life but he was still very grateful to him. And the reason for that was the high quality knight's secret art that he had left behind for Toroda.

With the help of this secret art, Toroda had managed to grew stronger in a very short period of time. This had made him quite famous and wealthy.

But even with all the fame and money, he was unable to find a good weapon for him that suited him perfectly. And in his frustration, Toroda himself tried forging one.

And in this process, he discovered that his talent for blacksmithing was much greater than his talented as a knight. So from them on, he changed his career and gained immense amount of success from it.

As for his hands, they were extremely pale and somewhat unsettling from the very beginning. But it was not that noticable.

But after he had started to forge, these hands became even more pale and now it looked almost like the hand of a ghost and not a regular human.

But this change was not all negative for him. This change also made his hand incredibly powerful even without the use of life force. And with these super powerful hands, he was able to handle special and super tough metals and forge with them.

And that was how he had made his name as one of the best blacksmith of this nation. But he had no way to control how his hands grew powerful unlike his knight's training, because he had no idea about the source of his strength.

So from this, even he could understand that his current problem was most probably related this unknown power source. And without hiding anything, Toroda told all of this to Weiss.

After hearing what he had to say, Weiss nodded her head. She had expected something like this to be the case so she was not surprised. But there was one thing that did attract her attention.

It was the fact that this nation seemed to have a lot of people from various different world. On the other hand, there were not even a story about such people in her home nation of the Brightshine kingdom.

So if the otherworldly people in the Brightshine kingdom were not exceptionally good at hiding their identity, there was a high possibility that their region was just not famous among the visitors from other worlds.

But the current time was not right to think about things like this. So Weiss decided to focus on treating Toroda first. With that in mind, she informed him that she might need a lot of time for this treatment but at the same time, she also could not stay in this city for too long.

Hearing this, Toroda thought a little bit and asked Weiss if she was also going to the city of Ryukan or not, where the Magic ship was coming soon. And answer, Weiss nodded her head.

Seeing this, Toroda looked relieved and told Weiss that his grandson would also be going there. So he could just join Weiss group if Weiss was fine with it. In that case, he would also join his grandson and would go to the city of Ryukan with them.

After hearing this, Weiss thought for a little bit and then nodded her head. She was fine with Toroda and his grandson joining them and it looked like everyone else in the party were also fine with this arrangement.

So just like that, even though Weiss did not get her custom made weapon here, she did manage to make the weapon maker to join her party.
