Chapter 403 - Terub Race ( 3 )
Troy and Percival noticed the alien's arrival even before the entity reached their back lines.
They can see the fully armored three-meter tall figure emanating a killing intent that could probably freeze anyone who doesn't have a powerful will.
'One of the Terubs, huh…'
They recognized the alien since it is included in Avalon's report about their enemies. Aside from that, this being is included at the top of the most dangerous list so there was no way for them to forget them.
'This is bad… Based on the report, a single member of their race can fight 50 Mech Frames at once.'
This is the first thing they can remember since it is the description of their power given by Avalon.
They weren't too overwhelmed when they saw the number before but after fighting tens of Mech Frames. They have finally realized how powerful a Terub was.
With that power, it wouldn't be surprising if a single Terub occupied a couple of major cities at all.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Several explosions occurred on the Mech Frames' position as they noticed that Wallace had actually used his mysterious powers to stop their advance.
The finishing attack was then completed by the Golden Mech being piloted by Ross Schien!
That Mech Knight was also being closely followed by 20 more Lucent Knights!
These Knights are the most powerful humanoid machines in aerial battles. Their incredible flight module and float drive system allowed them to dominate the skies together with their Magic.
Each of these Lucent Knights has 6th-Gen Mana Artifacts and it wouldn't be a problem for them to cast Grade 5 Mana Spells as long as they have the Mana Reserves to supply them.
What's even scarier about these Knights compared to the other Steel Knights was their possession of several One-Time-Use Mana Artifacts that is probably all the treasures of the Lucent Force.
In this war, there is no point in saving their most effective weapons. They have to use whatever weapons or Magic they have to stop these aliens.
Perhaps, their only problem now is that they are still being overwhelmed by the numbers of these Aliens…
If they probably have 5 or 10 years of preparation, they could've manufactured more Knights, Turrets, Battleships, and Mana Artifacts to fight against them.
However, these aliens arrived when they are still starting their development and they haven't even adjusted their minds about the existence of their Moon Base. Some of the magicians were not even thinking that it's true and telling that it was actually faked by Wallace to get more money from the investors.
[ Beep! ]
[ The Lucent Force will take care of the aliens that are chasing the retreating magicians. The Blaze Spaceship and other Airships will continue to harass the Alien Spaceships. Hayden Fraser and his team will deal with the remaining Khrusams that are trying to sneak an attack. All other Magicians are to retreat at Point B where the allied forces are waiting. ]
Avalon announced to their comms giving them clear instructions and an overview of the situation.
However, the announcement wasn't finished yet.
[ A single Terub Race is watching us. Wallace will make his move on this alien so just ignore him. ]
"Haha… I'm happy to hear that." Percival commented after hearing the last bit.
"But does it mean that Wallace has the strength of 50 Mech Frames?" Troy muttered. He wasn't expecting anyone to answer but this also made Percival think.
Nevertheless, they are in a hurry so they quickly lead their group to safety.

'I still have enough strength… Though I may not defeat this being. I should be able to stop him at the very least.'
Wallace looks at the 3-meter ( 9.8 ft. ) tall alien floating above. Unlike the first time Wallace saw their race in outer space, he's already wearing thick full-body armor. He's unable whether this is just a combat suit or a bio-armor.
They have probably realized that there are powerful existences on this planet, unlike the many worlds they conquered.
His brief appearance and action of destroying the Imperial Flagship's barrier must've alarmed them a bit.
Void Phase…
Wallace appeared behind the Terub and welcomed him with a palm strike filled with Echo Blast…
Bam!
He managed to successfully hit his back! However, the alien's barely budged on that strike!
He expected that his attack would be defended but he didn't think that the Terub wasn't thrown away by that force. He only moved a little in mid-air!
There was no ground to resist the impact of that Echo Blast so it felt incredulous!
This means that the power of this Terub is incredible… He didn't even look at him at all.
'Tsk…'
Wallace then swiftly moved away to get some distance from the alien. This time, Terub turned to face him.
"Are you the same guy before?" The Terub asked using the Federation Language.
He was wearing his black bio-armor when he appeared in outer space before so he wasn't recognized yet.
'Hmm… Does he have a deep grudge against me? I barely fought with them during the last time.' He thought.
Anyway, Wallace decided to delay his answer to buy more time.
'Well, talking to him is probably the best option for now.'
"What if I'm the same guy?" He asked.
"Then you need to come with me. The one who will conquer this planet is asking for your presence. If you do not follow me, we will no longer bother conquering this planet."
The Terub replied and even gave a warning.
By telling that they are no longer bothering to conquer this planet, means that they are ready to destroy this place instead.
However, Wallace wouldn't easily fall for that.
The Empire has been looking for this place for a long time. Now that they are here, they wouldn't miss this chance.
They wanted something in this world and it's impossible to just throw it away just because he declined to appear in front of the conqueror. He wasn't that important after all.
Nevertheless, he went silent and acted like he was thinking about it while observing the magicians move away using his Divine Sense.
