Mage Manual
Chapter 1861 - 1367: Should We Have a Child?
Ash patted his cheeks, pulled out a chair and sat down, raised his glass, and took the initiative to liven up the atmosphere: "It’s rare for everyone to have a break and come back... cheers!"
"Although I’m not too happy to see you all when I come back, it is indeed rare." Sonia took a sip and said, "It’s just that Dedarose and Dazzling Star are not here, the last time we were this complete... should be the day Ash came back from the Eighth Level of the Void Realm."
"After all, as soon as he came back, he told us, ’I need your strength again.’" Diya teased: "I thought everything was over, but it was just the beginning. I only wanted to be a full-time daughter, and now even I have to work, boo hoo hoo..."
"Actually, it’s not impossible to not care about it, after all, the Void Realm will self-heal, just don’t know how much disaster it will cause." Weiser said, "Anyway, the Mage civilization belongs to Ash, Ash’s stuff is our stuff, let’s just treat it as managing our homeland."
"It would be nice if Dedarose was here." Freyja sighed: "I really want to hear her sing again."
"You can just use a player to listen if you want." Siflin was a bit puzzled: "Does she have to sing live?"
"The player doesn’t have it."
"What, does she have a new song?" Sonia, a big fan of Sword Maiden Dedarose, immediately brightened up.
"I don’t know if it’s a new song." Freyja put a small piece of lamb chop in her mouth and said while eating: "Anyway, when I passed by Blood Moon to find Felix that time, I heard her and Felix singing a duet in the room—"
Bang!
Felix slammed her hands on the dining table, interrupting Meiwa’s speech. She kept her head down, her toes curled, wishing she could hide in a hidden corner. But there was no need for Felix to feel so awkward because no one was looking at her; all eyes were focused on Ash.
Ash blinked and suddenly downed his drink, saying, "By the way, Level Six of Hell is basically reconstructed and can be officially put into operation. From now on, the souls of the dead can enter Hell again!"
Necromancy Divine Lord Harvey, in cooperation with other Divine Lords, is committed to the restoration of Hell’s environment, to reopen a resting place for souls.
However, his attempt to forcefully change the subject had no effect, and everyone continued to look at him silently.
"By the way, Igula has decided to get married next week." Thankfully, Weiser helped Ash out: "Will you go, Ash?"
"Of course, although I always thought he and Anfeier were a good match, I didn’t expect they would actually end up together." Ash replied immediately, "Hanna, Tamasi, Diya, Vishi, will you be able to make time? But his current public identity is the Secretary-General of the Six Nations Alliance, and the wedding will definitely be grand. I feel a bit embarrassed to mess around with Harvey..."
Mental Divine Lord Igula is responsible for coordinating the conflicts among the Six Nations to prevent war. The Six Nations are physically adjacent, and under normal circumstances, war would definitely break out, possibly even a world war. Now, the world is at peace, with various countries developing in friendly competition, occasional friction but no major conflicts, all thanks to Igula’s control over people’s hearts to maintain world balance.
"Of course," Hanna ate a delicious shrimp and smiled, "I’m a bridesmaid."
"I want to go too!" Freyja raised her hand, "By the way, Hanna, will Qinna and Nona be there too?"
"They will, why?"
"It’s nothing, it’s just that I once passed by Gospel and saw you all—"
Bam!
Hanna immediately pressed down on Freyja’s shoulder beside her. She wore a sweet smile and said in a calm tone, "Freyja, let’s find some time to chat privately later, okay?"
"Sure." Meiwa replied innocently, "Is it something that can’t be said? I’ll be more careful in the future."
Everyone once again turned their attention to Ash, but it was Sonia who asked, "Freyja, did you encounter any other interesting things?"
"No more!" Ash immediately answered, "Really no more!"
"Really no more?" The witch chimed in to join the fun.
"Really no more! Let’s talk about the Void Realm instead!" Ash quickly said, "Sea of Knowledge, Time Continent, Dream Stairs, Ruby Mountain are all stable, Level Six of Hell is reconstructed, although the Seven Heavens can’t be restored to its former appearance, at least there won’t be any problems."
"You’re really not going to intervene with the seventh level of the Void Realm? Just let it become Dazzling Star’s ocean of stars?"
Supreme of Magic exchanged glances with each other and shook their heads.
"Swordsmanship, Time, Truth, Soul, our concepts are either too limited or too abstract, none as prolific or encompassing as ’Starry Sky’, which draws from reality, covering the entire world." Sonia cut a piece of steak and put it in her mouth, "I have to admit, letting Dazzling Star control the seventh level of the Void Realm and using reality to give birth to a Divine Being is indeed the best choice."
"Anyway, what’s hers is yours too," Vishi bit into a piece of lamb meat, muttering, "Just think of it as using resources to the fullest."
Ash looked around at everyone and smiled slightly. He stood up and raised his glass.
"This glass is for celebrating both the Void Realm and us." Ash said, "Now that the Void Realm is finally on track, and the world is returning to normal; saving the Void Realm was not the effort of one person, but the result of all our combined efforts."
"From now on, every second of our daily lives is composed of countless Miracles."
"To our world, cheers!"
Watching everyone drinking and happily dining, Ash breathed a sigh of relief, thinking he had finally slipped by.
Diya held her wine glass, drinking as if drunk; the Supreme of Magic naturally wouldn’t get drunk, but she could pretend to be drunk. She giggled, "Now that the Void Realm is stable, shall we proceed to the next plan?"
"Next plan?" Ash was startled, "Do you mean to conquer other world lines? Are you also joining the ’Conquest Series’?"
"That’s not something so boring!" The witch hammered the table and said loudly, "It’s about having children! Shouldn’t we be having children now?"
As soon as this was said, the female mages were all interested, Felix lifted her head, Hanna also turned to look, and everyone was looking at Ash. However, Ash just shrugged: "You can’t rely on me. Our soul bodies are naturally difficult to reproduce. Ever since reaching the Eight-winged status and absorbing the heartbeat of the Void Realm, my physique underwent changes even I can’t understand. A reproductive rate as low as one in a billion wouldn’t be surprising."
"Aren’t you the Pillar God who governs Life, witch?" Sonia asked, "No research findings after three years?"
Diya shook her head, "I am so busy, and Ash’s rank is far above the Pillar God; how could I have any results?"
"I’ve been really pushing for the reproduction faction, and I do have some achievements, but none can affect the soul body." Weiser was also a bit helpless: "Probably, Mages at the Demigod Rank don’t have the desire to reproduce anymore, and naturally, there’s no research left on that. Even if I dig into the Mage civilization, there’s nothing I can find."
"What about Vishi?" Felix asked, "Vishi who governs Pleasure, could she influence reproduction?"
"Never researched." Vishi said flatly.
"Oh, is that so?" Weiser smiled, "Then what was the ’Disappeared Night’ from a year ago about?"
Vishi’s expression changed; everyone’s curiosity piqued: "What?"
"Simply put, one night, from the Sea of Knowledge to the Seven Heavens, from the Divine Lords to commoners, from Void Realm creatures to Lala Fat, everyone was caught in a sudden soul shock, echoing the same sound worldwide. As for what the voice said, I won’t say it; otherwise, this place will explode, but in short, it was to express love to a lover in a state of extreme pleasure without any reservation."
"Later, everyone woke up to find that the memory of that night had disappeared, as if someone had forcefully stolen a night from the whole world. In truth, someone was so ashamed after the fact that they resorted to the Supreme of Magic and Bonded Divine to alter the world’s memory."
"At that time, Sword Maiden, you and Dazzling Star were out on a campaign, and the witch and I hadn’t yet ascended to the rank of Supreme, so we both lost our memories." Weiser sighed, "But when I ascended to the rank of Supreme Divine, I accidentally discovered this piece of intentionally hidden history while excavating treasures within the Mage civilization."
Vishi silently ate her lamb leg, not arguing or getting angry, but those who knew her understood that she was at her peak killing intent. Ash quickly held her hand and then looked at Weiser: "Silver Lamp..."
"She’s the one who monopolizes it first!" Weiser pouted, "She researched a Wonder we all could use for pleasure and then kept it a secret. Good things should be shared with everyone to enjoy together!"
Ash looked at Vishi again— Weiser did have a point here.
Vishi’s lips moved, reluctantly squeezing out a few words: "The most unique thing about the Wonder of Pleasure is that its intensity is proportional to its range. To affect the Supreme of Magic, it necessarily has to envelop the entire world. I only recently researched a way for its range to be limited to within a room, but the cost is that the subject’s rationality is nearly unsustainable. If you’re bold enough, let’s try it tonight."
"Alright!"
"Let’s try it."
"Is it really that impressive?"
Seeing everyone so enthusiastic, Ash’s mouth twitched, swallowing back the words ’I’m not bold enough’.
