Nie Qingru wanted Qiao Nian to bow down. She did not admit or deny it as she looked at the girl and said, "They’re willing to risk their lives for you, but you’re so ruthless. You’re not even willing to bow to me to get them back."
"Alright, I understand." Qiao Nian was not angered. Instead, she nodded calmly.
Seeing her reaction, Nie Qingru vaguely felt that something was wrong.
Before she could think about it, Shadow returned.
"Empress, the IPA said that Fred is in the illegal district. He’s coming. He said that he’s almost here and asked you to wait a little longer."
Nie Qingru subconsciously frowned.
