Chapter 264 - 264 - Finally Blood
(This chapter isn't edited yet)
Noah, who had already shown his wings, flew back to the blessed position while leaving the troll corpses burning in the original position.
Seeing the confused expression on their faces, he already wondered what the reason might be.
"They weren't the bosses, probably as they were undead, I believe there is a necromancer controlling these monsters. He must be the real Boss." Noah said as he landed.
Hearing what he said, the blessed finally showed an expression of understanding.
"So will we go after the necromancer now?" the bearded warrior asked.
Noah didn't respond and just looked at the team leader.
"We'll let everyone rest and recover some of the mana that was expended during the battle. Once everyone is in good condition we can go after the necromancer." The leader responded, quite pleased that even though Noah was so powerful, he wasn't self-centered and wanted to decide everything for himself while ignoring the plight of the rest of the team.
With that decided, the blessed sat down in small groups and rested. Luckily no other giant trolls emerged.
But while they rested, Noah summoned the imps and ordered them to leave to fetch the necromancer around the surrounding perimeter, particularly in the direction the trolls were coming.
Before long, the imps located the necromancer. Unfortunately their intelligence was very low, being insufficient for Noah to know more information than where the necromancer was and if there were many monsters nearby.
Fortunately the amount of monsters was not high. There were only three more trolls.
Hearing this, Noah became more carefree. Necromancers were fragile classes, probably the six trolls were the necromancer's personal safety, and since three had already died, the necromancer must have been afraid to send the rest of the powerful monsters here and be left unprotected.
But in addition to the trolls, there were also several small skeletons. Luckily these skeletons weren't monsters that would give Noah too much trouble.
After the team recovered, Noah informed them of where the necromancer was and the team quickly began moving in that direction.
Knowing the necromancer was at a disadvantage after losing three of the most powerful monsters he possessed, the team was confident. But for some reason, Noah felt there was something wrong with that.
Instead of running with the other blessed ones and wasting physical energy, Noah summoned the unicorn and ran ahead of the team, killing all the small monsters that got in the way between them and the necromancer.
In just 10 minutes they arrived in place. The distance wasn't that long, as the trolls arrived fast despite the slow movement.
"Noah, since you're the quickest of us, do you mind going ahead and finding out if something's wrong? I have a weird feeling about it, like it's too easy." The leader said as he looked at Noah.
The way the leader was talking to Noah had changed, it was noticeable that the respect the man had for the young man had increased a lot after the previous fight. If before he thought Noah was like a mighty wind that would help the team, now he thought of Noah as a typhoon that no one could control in the future.
Noah was surprised that he wasn't the only one who felt there was something wrong with this. "No problem, I also feel there's something wrong with this situation. I'll go ahead and try to find out what happened while you deal with the monsters around. I believe the necromancer already knows we're coming here, so be careful. "
"OK." The leader said.
Walking in the vanguard, Noah straddled the unicorn's back and looked around for some clue as to what might be going on, but he found nothing.
Until he started killing the undead monsters and realized that none of the monsters had blood on their bodies. No matter how dead they were, unless someone had deliberately taken the blood from these monsters' bodies, the blood wouldn't disappear like that.
Seeing this fact, Noah was even more concerned. In that fortress he had already fought a monster that could remove blood from the bodies of other monsters, and to this day, it was the most dangerous battle he fought, being many times more difficult than the battle against Shadow S.
Noah's idea was to let the rest of the team know what he'd discovered, but before he could speak for the unicorn to return, the noise of the trolls' heavy footsteps reached Noah's ear.
That meant the necromancer was already making his move.
'I must kill these trolls as soon as possible!' Noah thought worriedly.
But once again he couldn't move to help the team, as in front of him was a knight wearing an armada that Noah was familiar with.
Luckily the knight's armor in front of him wasn't like the Dragon armor he wore, it was just ordinary anti-magic armor, but that gave Noah a bad feeling.
Without thinking twice, he drew the sword he'd taken from the Vampire and cut the knight in half without even descending from the unicorn.
As the sword was on fire, Noah's fire continued to burn the knight's corpse after cutting the monster, making Noah's process of killing these monsters and gaining mana even easier.
The unicorn was running at full speed towards the trolls, but with every fifty yards Noah crossed, the number of riders he encountered increased.
By the time Noah finally reached the trolls, Noah had already killed over 30 knights.
Without thinking twice, Noah spread his wings and flew off the unicorn toward the trolls. Noah's flight speed was quite high, but it still wasn't as fast as the unicorn's running speed.
Noah quickly flew up to the first troll and used the same tactics he used to deal with the two trolls he fought first.
But there was a pleasant surprise for Noah, when he cut off the head of one of the trolls, blood came out of there!
