Chapter 2620: Chapter 2621: Maybe My Brain Really Is Waterlogged

Who would’ve thought that Di Yimo, who didn’t even look that old, would actually be this hard as a rock, and strong too—she almost couldn’t push him at all.

Not only did he not budge, Di Yimo even grabbed her hand directly, a cold, stunning smile curling at his lips as he asked, “So eager to throw yourself into my arms, huh?”

Nangong Xiao’s eyes widened. Damn!

“Throw yourself at your ass!” Nangong Xiao’s face flushed bright red as she yanked her hand out of Di Yimo’s grip, threatening, “Di Yimo, I’m warning you, I am not someone you can flirt with. I already said, that stuff from before was just childish nonsense. Whether you took it seriously or not, it was a joke. I don’t acknowledge it! If you keep this up I’ll tell your mommy!”

“A joke?” Di Yimo raised his eyebrows, a chill seeping through his cold, handsome face as he spoke, clearly displeased. “Nangong Xiao, what gives you the right to say it’s a joke and that makes it a joke?”

Nangong Xiao: “…”

“Then what exactly are you trying to pull?” Nangong Xiao glared at him.

“Marry you.” Di Yimo looked straight at her too.

Nangong Xiao: “!!!”

“Are you insane?!” Nangong Xiao exploded, and couldn’t help swearing, “Di Yimo, get this straight, I’m your aunt! I’m the same generation as your mommy, I call your mommy ‘older sis’!”

“So what? It’s not like we’re actually related by blood.” Di Yimo curled his lips. “I’m not interested in my real aunts either. This ‘aunt’ thing was just randomly slapped on you. I don’t care at all.”

“Well I care, okay?!” Nangong Xiao was honestly about to break down, shouting, “Besides, the person I like isn’t you at all, okay?”

“Who do you like? The guy who wrote this letter?” Di Yimo narrowed his eyes slightly, and in those deep, sharp eyes there was actually something like killing intent flickering.

Nangong Xiao was startled out of nowhere.

Nangong Xiao pouted. “Who it is is none of your business. First, I don’t like you. Second, my seniority is higher than yours. Third, I’m older than you. Di Yimo, did water get into your brain for you to take those childhood words seriously?”

Di Yimo didn’t answer immediately. He just stared at her, cold as ice, until she started feeling at a complete loss.

Being stared at by Di Yimo like that, Nangong Xiao actually felt a little nervous. His gaze was weird, yet extremely sharp, like he wanted to bore a hole straight through her face.

After a long moment, just when Nangong Xiao felt she couldn’t take that stare anymore, Di Yimo finally drew his gaze back, letting out a cold snort. “Maybe I really do have water in my brain.”

Nangong Xiao opened her mouth, but before she could say anything, Di Yimo had already turned around and left.

The boy’s back was straight, his legs long. From behind he looked like a Prince who had just walked out of a manga. He was only eleven, but Di Yimo was already a full 170 centimeters. The Di Family’s genes were no joke, and honestly, Di Yimo really was stupidly handsome.

Di Yimo walked out and even slammed Nangong Xiao’s door shut on his way.

The loud bang of the door finally yanked Nangong Xiao out of her thoughts. She involuntarily hunched her shoulders and pouted. “Psycho.”

Taking a deep breath, Nangong Xiao sat down at her desk, but instead of immediately writing what she had in hand, her eyes drifted out the window as she sank into thought.

She and Di Yimo were probably just a joke. There was no way they could ever be a good match.

She was just a bit regretful that when she was little she’d had no filter and had said those things as a joke. Now the mess was really blown up.

But it seemed like Di Yimo was mad. Did that mean he wouldn’t talk to her anymore from now on?
