Chapter 1477: If I Don’t Like You, I’ll Hit You—No Reason Needed

Ariel Morris looked at her son and felt relieved; his demeanor and features had inherited from God Seys, a recognized number-one heartthrob! With the excellent genes of Ryan Seys, Finley Sutherland stood beside him without being overshadowed, equally eye-catching, which reassured Ariel Morris.

"I was the one who hit," Finley Sutherland admitted without hesitation, stepping forward with a calm voice.

"It was really you? Finley, why did you hit someone?" Ariel Morris was surprised. Before Finley could answer, she quickly turned to the teacher, "Finley wouldn’t impulsively hit someone without reason; someone must have provoked him first!"

Ariel Morris fiercely defended Finley, making the teacher a bit uneasy, "Mrs. Seys, regardless of the situation, it’s wrong to hit people at school. And that student hadn’t bothered Finley; Finley suddenly rushed up and hit them."

"...I somehow find this hard to believe." Ariel Morris looked at Finley with a questioning gaze.

Finley was someone she had watched grow up, quiet and very well-behaved, and as Brother Dawn and Daisy’s child, sometimes she cared for Finley more than Ryan Seys!

The maternal instinct led Ariel Morris to outright dismiss the teacher’s words and again turned her questioning gaze to Finley, her voice soft: "Finley, tell Auntie, why did you hit someone?"

Finley looked at Ariel Morris and simply shook his head lightly, "Just hit because I didn’t like them, no reason."

Finley, let’s not play it cool now, help Auntie maintain some dignity! This is the office!

The teacher noticed Ariel’s discomfort and quickly said, "However, it’s not a serious issue; children fighting don’t exert much force, some bumps and scrapes are normal. We invited the parents here to ask Mrs. Seys to help us guide the child to prevent future violent behavior."

Ryan shivered, "Please don’t! My dad will deal with me! I promise never to fight again next time! Mom, you’re my real mom, don’t be cruel!"

Won’t his dad skin him alive? Just thinking about it scared him...

"Then behave yourself in school from now on!" Ariel Morris huffed, exasperated by her son’s restless nature, it was nothing like God Seys’, who did Ryan inherit this troublemaking trait from? Certainly not her!

Ariel Morris denied that fault resembling herself, yet forgot how she used to join Arlo Seys, Dawn Sutherland, and Nico Haynes in gang scuffles and standing punishments on the school field...
