Louis woke up with Maeve’s warm butt pressed against his morning erection. Savannah was still on the other side of him, her legs tangled with his. Donya was sleeping on her side, facing them. He carefully untangled himself and grabbed his phone from the nightstand. It was seven in the morning. He opened Tengri and saw that the news about the shooting had gone viral. Several media outlets were speculating about the identity of the shooter and his motives. He ignored them and tried to focus on the task of the day. He typed Vegas vacation and Idaho into the search bar. The top results were a series of posts of confused but excited mechanics from eastern Idaho showing off their surprise prize letters, plane tickets, and cash. Some of them were already at the Idaho Falls airport. He grinned. His mother’s team had worked fast.

Maeve’s hand found his cock. “Good morning, Louis.”

“Good morning, Mae-Mae,” he said, pulling her closer. “Are you ready for your big day?”

“I am,” she said, turning to face him. “But I need to warm up my engine first.”

Maeve lifted her leg and placed it over his hip. Louis slowly ground her clit with his cockhead. “Like this?” he whispered.

She nodded and moaned. “Exactly like that.” He kept the pressure slow and teasing. “Your dick feels good, Louis. So hard and ready.”

“Pretend I’m interviewing you for a job, Mae-Mae,” he whispered. “And you have to convince me to hire you.”

Maeve moved her hips in circles. “What’s the job, boss?”

“To be my personal mechanic,” he said, his breathing heavy. “And to ride my cock whenever I want.”

“I can do that,” she said, grinding against him. “And I love to ride.”

Louis slid inside her, his cock filling her up. “Oh, fuck, Louis,” she moaned, wrapping her legs around him. “You’re so big.”

Louis gasped as her warm pussy squeezed around him. “Mae-Mae, I love you.”

“I love you too,” she said, her hips bucking. “Now fuck me, Louis. Show me how much you want me.”

Louis started thrusting, the bed creaking. He felt movement behind him. Savannah patted his ass. “Go on.”

He moved faster, Maeve’s hands grabbing his back. He looked at her face, her eyes closed. She had freckles on her nose and cheeks. He found them adorable. Her eyelashes were long. Her lips were slightly parted.

“You’re so beautiful, Mae-Mae,” he said, feeling his balls tighten.

“Faster,” she gasped.

Louis obeyed, thrusting into her again and again. He felt her pussy clench around him, her body trembling as she came.

“Louis!” she cried out. Louis held her close, feeling her breasts against his chest. Sweat had made her skin slick against his. He thrust into her one last time and came, filling her with his cum. He lay on top of her, kissing her neck.

“I think I’ll hire you, Mae-Mae,” he said, catching his breath. “You’re very convincing.”

Maeve laughed. “I’m glad, boss.” She grabbed her phone from the nightstand and looked. “Oh shit. It’s already seven-thirty. I have to get ready.”

She jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom. Louis watched her go. Savannah sat up and stretched. “She’s a lot of fun.”

“Yes, she is,” Louis said, getting up. “We should get ready too. Yamamoto’s team will be here soon with the equipment.”

“Right,” Savannah said. “Let’s go and see what the spy kits look like. I’m excited.”

Louis went to the bathroom and brushed his teeth. He saw Maeve in the shower. She was singing a song.

“When the world is out of luck, there’s just someone who gives a fuck—”

Louis laughed and choked on the toothpaste. Maeve turned to him. “What?”

“Nothing,” he said, rinsing. “Just a very unique song.”

“I made it up,” Maeve said, shampooing her hair. “It’s about us.”

“I like it,” he said, wiping his mouth. “Don’t forget to wash your butt. You’ll be sitting in a truck all day.”

“Of course,” she said. “I hate an itchy ass.”

“Me too,” he said, leaving the bathroom.

Louis went to the dining room outside the upper bedroom. Willa and Angelique were already there, eating sausages, fried eggs, back bacon, baked beans, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, black pudding, and toast. An insulated food carrier sat beside the table.

“Morning, Angi, Willa,” he said, kissing Angelique. “Where’s the food from?”

“Morning,” Angelique said, kissing him back. “It came from a Ministry of Culture plane.”

Willa pointed at the bags. “I guess your mom was worried that we don’t have a chef on the RV. So she arranged for a delivery from the plane. They were pretty busy last night, sending out the Vegas vacation letters.”

“Very thoughtful of her,” Louis said, sitting down. He took out a container from the bag. “This looks good.”

“It is,” Willa said. “The sausages are great. I bet they taste better than the hotel breakfast, if they even have any.”

“Probably just some dry toast and watery coffee,” Angelique said. “Or even worse. They might have a communal pot of oatmeal.”

“I hate oatmeal,” Willa said. “It’s slimy and tasteless.”

“Me too,” Louis said, eating a sausage. “But you look like an oatmeal girl, Willa.”

“Why?” Willa asked, her eyes narrowing. “Because I’m a pale nerd from Boston? You think I like slimy and tasteless food?”

“No,” Louis said. “I just thought you might like it because it’s healthy.”

“I am healthy,” Willa said. “But I like my food to have flavor. I’m not a rabbit. Even if I’m pale.”

“Good to know,” Louis said, smiling. He ate a spoonful of beans. The others joined them at the table, Cherish yawning.

“Morning, everyone,” she said. “I had a strange dream about a bear with a missile launcher playing in a swimming pool.”

Gladice laughed. “That’s not a dream, Cherry. That’s a prophecy.”

“I hope not,” Willa said. “I don’t want a bear to blow up the pool.”

“I do,” Maeve said. “It would be fun to watch.” She took a bite of eggs. “This is good.”

“It’s from Mom’s plane,” Louis said. “She sent us a care package.”

“That’s nice of her,” Maeve said. “But I have to get ready soon. And I need my disguise kit.”

“Yamamoto has it,” Willa said, looking at her phone. “He’s ready when you are.”

Maeve nodded and stabbed three pieces of bacon with a fork.

Louis looked at Gladice. “So, how was your night? Did you have fun?”

Gladice winked. “We watched a horror movie. Cherry had to hold my hand after the lights off.”

“It was a bit scary,” Cherish said, blushing.

“I can imagine,” Savannah said. “What was the movie about?”

“Possessed nuns,” Gladice said. “With a lot of blood and a possessed goat.”

“Sounds lovely,” Savannah said.

“It was,” Angelique said, sipping her coffee. “The cinematography was excellent. The story was a bit cliché, though.”

“Of course you’d say that, Angel,” Gladice said. “You’re a film critic now.”

“I just appreciate good art,” Angelique said.

“And possessed nuns aren’t good art?” Gladice asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Not necessarily,” Angelique said. “But they can be.”

“Let’s agree to disagree,” Gladice said, looking at Louis. “And you, Louis? Did you have fun with Savvy and Donya and Mae-Mae?”

Louis swallowed a bite of egg. “It was a productive night,” he looked at Maeve who was finishing her third sausage. “And morning.”

Maeve wiped her mouth with a napkin and stood up. “I’m ready for my disguise now.”

“Yamamoto has a room for you on the first floor,” Willa said. “The boys will give you all the equipment.”

Maeve nodded and left. Louis watched her go.

“I hope this works,” Donya said, looking at her plate.

“It will,” Savannah said. “We’ll back her up.”

“But we’re not going with her,” Donya said. “She’ll be alone with strangers.”

“We’ll go to Ashton too,” Louis said. “But we’ll stay in the RV and outside the town.” He paused. “I can ask Petrov and his team to find a roof near Big Sky Beef to set up an overwatch position.”

“That’s a good idea,” Angelique said. “It will make me feel better.”

“Me too,” Donya said.

Louis turned on the comms. “Captain, I need Petrov and his team to set up an overwatch position in Ashton. With a good view of the Big Sky Beef office and a clear line of sight to Maeve.”

“We already have that in mind, sir,” Yamamoto’s calm voice came through. “They are already in position. They’ve been there since five this morning. They’re scanning the whole area as we speak.”

“Good,” Louis said. “Thank you, Captain.” He paused. “How did the sabotage go?”

“All the trucks are disabled as you requested, sir. We also placed trackers and listening devices on all of them.”

“Excellent,” Louis said. “Let’s hope they need Mae-Mae today.”

He turned back to the women. “Yamamoto is truly a professional.”

“I’m glad he’s on our side,” Savannah said.

“Speaking of our side,” Willa said, looking at her phone. “Most of the mechanics have boarded the plane. They are on their way to Vegas. And some of their social media posts are hilarious.”

“Let me see,” Gladice said, leaning over.

Willa turned her phone. A video played, showing a group of confused but happy men and women on a bus. They were drinking champagne and laughing. A man with a big beard was wearing a pair of novelty sunglasses shaped like dice.

“That’s great,” Gladice said, laughing. “I wish I was there.”

“So there are some not going too?” Louis asked.

“A few of them refused for private reasons. Family obligations or the like,” Willa said. “So I’d say they are not going to fix the trucks either way.”

“Then our plan is still on track,” Louis said.

“If we can put trackers on the trucks, why are we going through all the trouble of sending Maeve undercover? Can’t we just follow the trackers?” Donya asked.

“Because the trackers may not lead us directly to the farm,” Angelique said. “They might lead us to a distribution center or a warehouse. We would still need someone to get close enough to confirm the location.”

“And to get inside,” Savannah said. “To see what’s really going on.”

“I understand,” Donya said. “But I still feel nervous for Maeve.”

“We all do,” Angelique said. “But she can handle herself. She’s the most capable of all of us when it comes to mechanics and driving.”

A woman walked upstairs from the lower deck and entered the dining room. She had short brown hair, brown eyes, and wore a leather jacket, a T-shirt, jeans, and boots.

Gladice reached for a butter knife. “Who the fuck are you?”

“Maggie Mayflower,” the woman said with Maeve’s voice. “I’m the best mechanic in the West. And I’m looking for a job.”

Louis laughed. “You look amazing, Mae-Mae. The disguise is perfect.”

Maeve looked at herself in the reflection of the darkened window. “Yeah, I do.” She adjusted her mask. “This thing is sticky though.”

Willa got up and inspected the mask. “It’s a silicone prosthesis. It’s the best we have. It will fool anyone who doesn’t touch your face. Just don’t let anyone get too close.”

“Or kiss me,” Maeve said. “That would be a disaster.”

“I’m sure you can handle that, Maggie Mayflower,” Gladice said. “You almost got me there.”

“I’m glad you’re convinced, Glads,” Maeve said. “Now, let’s try the comms.” She blinked. “They gave me a contact lens camera, saying it streams. Can you all see me?”

Willa turned her laptop toward the others. “Yes, Maeve. We can see through your left eye. The quality is excellent.”

“That’s good,” Maeve said. “I’m going outside for a test, then I’m going to Ashton on my Ducati.”

“Be careful, Mae-Mae,” Louis said. “We’re right behind you. And we have an overwatch team in position.”

“Copy that, boss,” Maeve said. “Maggie Mayflower out.”

She turned and went down the stairs. Louis watched the laptop screen. He saw Maeve’s view as she walked down the stairs and to the door of the RV. A guard opened it for her and she went out. He watched her walk to her red Ducati motorcycle parked near the RV. She got on it and tapped her earpiece.

“Testing. One, two, three,” Maeve’s voice said through the laptop’s speaker. “Can you all hear me?”

“We hear you, Mae-Mae,” Louis said. “Loud and clear.”

“Good,” she said. “I’m going now.”

Louis watched her put on a helmet and start the engine. She drove out of the parking lot and onto the road. The camera showed her view of the highway and the green fields.

“She’s good,” Gladice said, looking at the screen.

“She is,” Louis said. “Let’s go too. We have to keep up with her.”

“Maeve, are you carrying a weapon?” Savannah asked.

“I have a pistol in a hidden holster under my jacket,” Maeve’s voice said. “And a knife in my boot. And a grenade. Just in case.”

Gladice laughed. “You’re a true badass, Mae-Mae.”

“I try,” Maeve said.

Willa set up their destination on her laptop, connecting it to the RV’s navigation system. “Activate autopilot,” she said.

The RV started to move, the other SUVs following. Louis looked at the screen. Maeve was riding fast, her Ducati weaving through the light traffic. He liked watching her ride. She was confident and skilled.

“Do you think Hank will believe she’s a mechanic?” Cherish asked.

“He will when he finds out all of his trucks are broken,” Savannah said. “And all mechanics in town are in Vegas.”

“I hope he doesn’t ask her for a reference,” Willa said.

“He won’t,” Angelique said. “He’s desperate. He has a delivery to make. And a tight schedule. He’s not going to be too picky.”

“Plus, I made her a very impressive fake resume,” Willa said. “She worked for the Nevada Army. As a heavy-vehicle mechanic. And she has a clean driving record. I also created fake discharge papers for her.”

“You’re a genius, Willa,” Gladice said.

“I know,” Willa said.

“I like how the camera sometimes looks at her own boobs when she looks down,” Gladice said, pointing at the screen. “We should have had them add this feature to all our clothes.”

“I’m sure Louis will be delighted to spy on all of us that way,” Angelique said, her voice dry.

“I would,” Louis said, grinning. “It would be very spicy.”

“I bet you would,” Willa said. “You’re a pervert.”

“You love me for it,” Louis said, kissing her.

“I do,” Willa said, kissing him back. “But I also value my privacy. So forget about it.”

“Fine,” Louis said, sighing. “Let’s focus on the mission.”

They watched Maeve’s ride on the screen. She raised a middle finger to a car that cut her off.

“That’s our Mae-Mae,” Savannah said, laughing. “Always so polite.”

“She’s getting close to Ashton,” Willa said, looking at a map on her screen. “She should be there in ten minutes.”

“Okay, let’s find a good place to park,” Louis said. “Away from the town, but with a clear view of the main road.”

“On it,” Willa said.

Yamamoto’s voice came over the speakers. “Sir, we have a tail. Agent Powell’s car is following us again.”

“She didn’t see Maeve, did she?” Angelique asked.

“No, ma’am,” Yamamoto said. “She was parked near the hotel when we left. I think she just followed our convoy.”

“Let her,” Louis said. “She’s not a problem.”

“The problem is that she may get suspicious if we park in the middle of nowhere, away from the town,” Willa said. “She may wonder why.”

“Let her guess,” Louis said. “Maybe we are having an orgy in the parking lot.”

Gladice laughed. “We could. I’m up for it.”

“We are not having an orgy, Glads,” Angelique said, rolling her eyes. “We can pretend to have one, though.”

“How are we gonna do that?” Savannah asked.

“By stopping at anywhere we prefer, and doing whatever we want,” Angelique said. “We don’t have to explain ourselves to her.”

“Agreed,” Louis said. “Let’s stop by Jupiter Diner. The guards can have breakfast. And we can spy on Maeve.”

“Too bad I’m already full,” Gladice said.

“Too bad,” Savannah said.
