Lord: Stripped of My Inheritance from the Start

Chapter 378 - 360: Crescent Continent

Ronin finalized the personnel transfer with Lurans and Wiggin, then left Wushan Castle with Elron.

On the way back to the Wubei Territory, they first made a trip to the Wushan Town branch of the Silva Magic Energy Chamber of Commerce.

Upon learning there were only twenty stalks of Fury Flame Grass in stock, Ronin decisively bought them all. He also purchased forty Dream Flowers and twenty pristine Magic Crystal Stones to maintain the correct recipe ratio.

The Fury Flame Grass cost 400 gold each, the Dream Flowers 200 gold each, and the Magic Crystal Stones were discounted to 100 gold apiece.

In total, this shopping spree cost Ronin a whopping 18,000 Gold Coins!

It was a good thing he’d accepted the hundred thousand Gold Coins from Lurans. Otherwise, this purchase alone would have left him worrying about money.

The main ingredients for the Support Enhancement Potion were now in hand. Once Jenny prepared the Pure Water Essence, he could begin attempting to craft the potions.

Assuming a one hundred percent success rate, this quantity of ingredients could yield 200 bottles of Support Enhancement Potion suitable for Advanced Level Knights.

However, a one hundred percent success rate was impossible; not even the most skilled Mage could guarantee it.

According to the experience from Elron’s memories, a 50% success rate at the start would already be considered excellent.

Even after his proficiency improved, reaching an 80% success rate would still be exceptionally difficult.

As long as the Support Enhancement Potions were used for his own people instead of being sold, this venture would lose money for a long time.

But nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Ronin hoped the potions would have a noticeable effect on the few Advanced Level Knights in his territory.

Interestingly, barely two days after Ronin left, Miroslav returned to Wushan Town.

His first order of business was to check how much Fury Flame Grass and Dream Flower were left in stock.

He needed them partly to create a Magic Potion to alleviate Ossen’s Soul-Devouring Surge, and partly to try and deduce what kind of potion Ronin might be making.

But he was told that Ronin had already bought out the entire stock of Fury Flame Grass.

The old Dean was stunned. After a long moment, he chuckled and muttered, “That rascal. Don’t tell me he rode Lurans’s Thunderbolt Wind Chasing Beast just to get here one step ahead of me?”

He shook his head. “I’m not the kind of elder who snatches resources from his juniors.”

With no other choice, he could only urge the Chamber of Commerce to restock immediately. In the future, there would certainly be no trouble selling these two ingredients, Fury Flame Grass and Dream Flower.

’I have to spar with Lurans in three months. I’d better use this time to brush up on my techniques.’

Miroslav had been a Great Mage for many years and hadn’t been in a real fight for a long time. Many of his combat techniques had grown rusty.

He planned to spend the next two months “reviewing” his skills, then use the final month to visit Black Python City on business before heading directly to Wushan Castle.

Leaving Miroslav to his plans, Ronin saw Elron back to Swamp Castle, then flew nonstop to Shore City.

It was now the third of the new year. Ronin had already spent all his Attribute Points. His Knight Level had maxed out at the Meteor Level, and his Mage Level progress was now Great Mage (2867/6000).

In addition, he had accumulated 8120 points of Energy Essence.

He had come to Shore City this time to raise Ridder’s strength to the Silver Moon Level.

“How do you feel?”

In the forest behind Shore Fort, Ridder stood with his eyes closed, feeling the power surging through his body.

Ronin couldn’t help but check the man’s Attribute Panel:

[Ridder Main]: Silver Moon Knight · Fire (0/10000)

Advancing from Meteor to Silver Moon only required four thousand Energy Essence, but from Silver Moon to Proud Sun required a full ten thousand points—more than double the amount.

Ridder slowly opened his eyes. At that moment, his red hair seemed to burn even more vibrantly, as if he had been bathed in fire.

VMMMM—

The air trembled as a surge of Fighting Qi erupted from beneath Ridder’s feet. He could now walk on the air itself, hovering briefly mid-flight.

This was the hallmark of the Silver Moon Level, and a testament to the power of Knights who reached it.

Furthermore, a Silver Moon Knight could feel the “Cognition Wheel” between their eyebrows. As its name suggested, it was related to the Sea of Consciousness.

In fact, a Silver Moon Knight’s physical Cultivation had already reached a bottleneck. At this stage, they began to focus on enhancing their Spiritual Power.

Breaking through the Cognition Wheel with Fighting Qi was a process that facilitated the growth of Spiritual Power.

It was said that once the Cognition Wheel was broken, a Knight could establish a Sea of Consciousness, thereby gaining a Mana Space. Their Spiritual Power would then skyrocket to the level of a Senior Mage.

At this stage, a Knight was also a Mage.

Similarly, when an Eighth-level Mage broke through the “Qi Wheel” to become a Great Mage, that Mage was also an Advanced Level Knight.

Ronin grew curious. ’I wonder… at the pinnacle of Cultivation, do Knights and Mages ultimately walk the same path?’

He suddenly recalled Franz, whom he’d met at the Kingdom’s tournament. Franz’s great-grandfather, Bellora Silva, had required him to first cultivate both Fighting Qi and Magic to the Sixth-level before choosing one to specialize in.

’Could this be related to the secret of becoming Legendary?’

After all, there was no detailed account of how one became Legendary. Even Ronin, born into a Marquis Clan, and Blanche of the Royal Family were ignorant on the matter.

’But if it really is related to becoming Legendary,’ he thought, ’then my current path of Magic and Martial Dual Cultivation seems to be exactly the one Bellora described.’

“Thank you for your gift, my Lord! I have gained so much from this advancement!”

Ridder’s words pulled Ronin from his thoughts.

After some questioning, Ronin learned that Ridder, just like Elron, had awakened a large portion of lost memories.

His memories included not only Shadow Lord Elliott and the site of their final battle, Flame Canyon, but also the name of the continent where it all took place—the Crescent Continent.

A continent shaped like a crescent moon.

“Crescent Continent?”

Ronin murmured the name. He had never heard of it, and none of the books Blanche had found mentioned it either.

“A continent beyond Orland?”

“I think… there’s a strong possibility!”

Ridder said thoughtfully, “In my memories, there is a place far more vast than the Crescent Continent, called the ’Star Continent.’ Perhaps that is what is now the Orland Continent?”

Ronin agreed with this theory.

’Perhaps the first Great Emperor of the Orland Empire renamed the continent after unifying the Star Continent.’

’What Ronin found strange, however, was if there really were two continents that had once been in contact, why was that connection now severed?’

’Was it related to the war that Ridder and the others fought?’

’Could the Crescent Continent have been sunk?’

Ronin planned to ride Carlos out over the sea when he had time and see if he could find anything unexpected.

Next, the two discussed Elliott.

Just as in Elron’s memories, Ridder’s also showed that Elliott and her servants were identical to Natalia and the others in the Mysterious Valley.

This served as firm confirmation that the Mysterious Valley was a remnant of Elliott’s legacy.

“Besides the memories, I also recalled a Secret Scripture and a Combat Skill.”

Ridder explained, “The *Heaven-Burning Secret Scripture*. Those with high Fire Attribute Affinity can cultivate it. By circulating Fighting Qi in a special manner, one can purify their Fire Attribute Fighting Qi. When combined with the Secret Skill, *Heaven-Burning Flame*, it can unleash tremendous power!”

Although this Secret Scripture and Secret Skill were Ridder’s specialty, Ronin clearly met the requirements to learn them as well.

His previous battle against Ramsay, where he had been at a disadvantage, had taught him the importance of mastering a Secret Skill.

He immediately instructed Ridder to transcribe it within the next two days so he could attempt to master it on his way to the Amethyst County.
