Compared to his last visit, Ronin noticed that Swamp Castle was much busier. He saw many new servants bustling about in the courtyard. Some were tending to the landscape plants, others were repairing the roof, and still others were cleaning out the drainage ditches.

Ever since Chahar had become the Finance Officer, the position of castle steward had been taken over by Gallon, his former personal valet.

“My lord, you’ve finally returned!”

Ronin nodded.

’As the only presentable castle I have in the Wubei Territory, it really does need a good repair.’

“Carry on, everyone. And be careful.”

Ronin added, “Gallon, go inform Elron, Wilson, and Chahar. Tell the three of them to come see me.”

“Yes, my lord!”

Ronin went straight back to his study.

Although he had been away for some time, the study was still spotless, clearly cleaned every day.

With the Lord’s return, the castle servants seemed to have found their backbone, and the atmosphere was much more lively than before.

Since Elron was already in the castle, he was the first to arrive at the study.

“Rig Hodge?”

Elron said with a smile, “Besides Yusuf and Rig, I’ve also approved ten Professional Knights who wished to join, including an Advanced Level Knight named Damon. They were all drawn here by your reputation.”
