Chapter 2141: Good and Evil

Some people, the more they live, the more they could embrace death. They view it as a necessary process.

Just like entropy is the rule of the Universe, just like how certain things are natural and should not be disturbed. Life and death find a balance.

Existence and nonexistence, creation and destruction all of it has some kind of balance.

When this balance is disrupted, then all hell break loose and everything has to be reset so that a new balance could be found.

Many beings understand this.

But deities, long lived creature....especially powerful beings....they are used to defying the heavens, defying the order and they thought everything could be ignored.

Mortal sometimes is even braver than these deities and godly beings.

Their longevity is short yet in that short moment, it was like their potential is squeezed to the last drop, and those who could do this, focus on their thoughts and live their life fiercely, and seeking the meaning, of truth, of life.....when they are faced with death, while there is some fear, there is also some kind of acceptance, and they embrace death like an old friend.

But a Sovereign who self-detonate does not always mean that they are dead.

Some are more cunning.

When they do self-detonate, for beings like Sovereign who have all kinds of methods, sometimes it is more like a cicada leaving its shell

They weakened themselves to escape from a formidable enemies or to deceive something or someone. In a simple word, playing dead.

Of course, doing such things also take a toll and any beings doing this kind of method would undoubtedly become weak

And being weak they had to go to slumber. And so, they opened up their inner universe and they themselves become more like a Will.

And this Inner Universe then take place in space. Space is infinite. And so, there is always space in the Omniverse.

Then living beings would appear in this Universe not knowing what they call their vast universe is actually just inside of someone body.

what they think is natural calamity might just be the body sneezing.

When they see such a gap or abyss it might be the gap and abyss that is only two finger length but to the people living in this inner universe, they see it and thought that no matter how long and how far they travel they could not escape the abyss

Azief had such thought. Because right now, his Inner Universe is about to become very real.

And what did he do now that head such a realization, he smiles, and then he inhales and he exhales.

"Right now, all of that is not important. Just breath this bundle of luck and fortune" he mutters to himself as he chuckles

"God knows, I need all the luck and fortune I could get"

But just as much as he inhales the Immortal energy of this realm, this realm also benefited as he breathed out all kinds of energy from his body and added to the reconstruction of this Universe

And just like that he had passed the Immortal Steps. He did not feel much change probably because there is not much to change for him now.

Then he look in front of him and there is a smile on his face

"The last thirteen steps" he mutters to himself

In front of him is the last thirteen steeps

Only this last thirteen steps is very different from the thirteen steps he remembers

But he only smiles and shakes his head

There is no feeling of anxiety. No rush. No fear.

Each of the step is there. But each step is separated from each other by a great distance. The distance between each step could not be counted in the measure of kilometres, but in the trillion light years away from each other.

Azief seeing all of this only smiles and then he laughed.

A distance of light years....that is nothing!

The last thirteen steps.

Once he walks all of these steps he would reclaim back the power.

He knows what it means to walk all the way to the end

Supreme than the Heavens.

He closes his eyes and he thought back all of those years ago.

When he returns to Earth with his Divine Comprehension realm there was no one in the world that could restrain him.

Even in the Omniverse he could survive even Essence Formation realm beings

All of that is because he achieve perfection in his disk and because he walks these thirteen steps.

Fortunately enough he never met any Essence Formation beings when he was in Divine Comprehension realm

The unfortunate things however is the fact that most of his encounter are all beings that so outclassed him that even if he was in Essence Creation, it would have been useless

Walk until the tenth steps in this part of the Stairway, and you would have the title Supreme than the Heavens.

And if he walks the last three steps, he would have a chance to become a True Divinity in the future

Basically the chance of surviving a Sovereign tribulation is higher.

He shakes his head.

He did not need all of this. But he knows just because he think he doesn’t need it doesn’t mean that is the truth

Maybe someday he would look back at this moment and notice something he didn’t notice before

Or maybe he is just overthinking things

He smiles

He see the gap again.

And he sees the world inside that gaps, the universes, the parallel dimensions, multiverse, dimension lines and he smiles

Things he did not see before, he could see.

And it filled him with wonder.

It is no surprise then when someone reaches the realm of Sovereign, they really did not care much about the mortal pursuit of power

When you see so much wonder in the entire Omniverse, you could drown yourself seeking for answers.

And there would always be new adventure.

No wonder, Sovereign realm beings did no go around destroying civilization.

When you truly become undying and immortal, living almost eternally, then almost everything, even the most heinous sin that could be committed to you could be forgiven

The capacity to forgive of as Sovereign is boundless.

But well, when they are angry the kind of wrath they could inflict upon mortals are also quite terrifying.

It does not mean that just because a Sovereign is forgiving, they also could not be emotional. Most of the Sovereign greatest task is to restrain their own fatal flaw

When one reaches the Sovereign realm, they themselves could see their own weaknesses. They know their own fatal flaw.

And most Sovereign fatal flaw has always been themselves

Pride, wrath, envy, all of those sins and the problem of the heart and the mind

This kind of problem did not go away just because you become Sovereign. Instead, it is almost like the Omniverse created a balance.

The stronger you are, the more the will of the Omniverse affects your emotions. Hence, the greatest task of a Sovereign is to restrain their emotion.

Their love could be obsession, their hatred could become consuming, their sadness could be deadly.

But one thing is certain. No Sovereign is just going around destroying civilization if they could help it

Why?

Because when you see all of these wonders of the world, you recognize that without life, all of these wonders that is present in all of these universes would cease to exist.

Azief of course is still quite na?ve on this. He did not know something.

What he sees today, the wonder of the Omniverse, the life, all of this he did not see before when he became a Sovereign

Mindset determine what you see. Your heart and your mind determine what you see. The truth is what you want it to be

For mortal, the truth is the truth but Sovereign could make even a lie become the truth. They have truly the power to force people to accept lie as the truth

There is nothing more dangerous than the test of the heart.

And Azief did not see all of this before.

There is always a two side toe everything.

As much as there is wonder in the Omniverse, as much as there is life, beauty and kindness, virtue and all of that good stuff, there is also great terror, there is death, ugliness, cruelty, and all of the darkness in the world

It depends on what you choose to see and what you choose to pursue.

Azief did not know that he on the other timeline did not see all of this wonder. One might wonder, if he is tested with the same kind of test, what would he see at that time?

Would he see a world full of wonders and have the desire to seek the knowledge of the world? Or would he sees the ugliness of the world and driven by his justice cleanse the world with fire or water?

Those deities when they cleanse the world with water, fire and other divine fatal calamities.....were they driven by anger or driven by justice?

But there is no what if....again

Today, Azief look at the world and he choose to see the good in the Omniverse. Not because he did not know that there is no evil.

No, he had seen evil. He had become evil. And he had also seen kindness and good.

He sees people in impossible situation does things that prove virtue is alive.

And those so call people who think everyone is self-serving is simply a frog who live at the bottom of the well, thinking that it could divine the world by seeing a small patch of the sky

They believe since they are self-serving, everyone else is also like them

And those who believe everyone is kind ae like kind sheep living among wolves. Sooner or later they would get devoured

Evil and good arises from the hearts and no one knows who would always be good and who would always be evil. Life and death, time and space would see it all.

Azief chose to see both of these and try to embrace that there is evil. And there is good. And he himself knew that he would not always make the right decision

All he could do, is try to do the best he could to try to make the right decision.

Believing in oneself, believing in others, and believing in the world, the good and the bad.
