Chapter 1943: Troubled Times

The location was set to Earth. The time was also set. The time coordinate. Not too far into the future, just at the right moment

He focused all of his concentration toward Earth, toward his feelings for Earth, toward his thoughts and memories of Earth.

It is fine if the location is a bit skewed. But the time must be right

“I believe I time it right” He is quite sure he cut off the time of the past.

So, that he would not accidentally travels back to the time of dinosaurs or any other point of time in history.

He picks up some things after seeing Odin shows him the entire timeline of Earth. Messing with the past, is a recipe for disaster

And all those entanglements could destroy his own existence if he is not careful

Azief at that time no longer wanted to mess with the past of Earth or the future of his own destiny

Going to the past, would change almost everything and that is not always a good thing. Even if he did not do anything, just him breathing in the past, could somehow change the future

Because the fact that he is there, from the moment he steps into it, the future had already changed

It is like that experiment of Archimedes.

The water in the bath tub is calm. If you don’t touch it, don’t put any mass into it, it would be natural. The sun would dry it out, the rain would add it.

But if something falls from the sky and smash head first into that bath tub, the water mass, the water volume would change.

It doesn’t matter how heavy the new mass and weight is. What matters is that it already changes

And once it changes, there is no turning back.

Even more so, if it’s a world without magic.

A world with magic has its own defense system.

A world without magic on the other hand…. let’s just say it would not be pretty.

Azief knows Earth before the Fall, have only a bit of magic. Not enough to withstand a descent of a being like him

So, he cut off the past when he was running before

And if he goes to the future, it has the chance of him locking that future. Creating the inevitable. He also learns that such a thing could happen

That by looking at the future, the future is then locked.

So, he was focused and adamant that he must return not too far into the future or too far in the past

As long as he arrives in the point of time after he had met Wargod, not too far away in the future, that is enough

“I am on Earth” Azief is sure of it.

“All of this is…Earth” he thought to himself.

This energy, this law and rules that feel familiar to him is like returning home. Every world has its own signature. Those who could manipulate energy to such fine level like him, could sense this signature

Just like every human is born with different fingerprint, every world also has its own fingerprint.

So, beings like him could instantly know whether a world is wrong or not the moment they feel their energy

Just like he knows that this is Earth. This energy, pure and unrefined. There is probably no place on the Omniverse that has an energy as pure as this

“if there is, it is beside the Creator” The only time Azief felt an energy as pure as the one on Earth is when he is beside the Creator.

Then he thought of it again and he smiles

“There is also below the tree” he thought to himself. Maybe, when he is beside Alsurt all those years ago, it is the same kind of energy

Though, at that time he was so weak compared to him right now so he could not have understood the purity of that energy

There is probably only a few beings and few places in the Omniverse that could emanate such pure energy.

“This is Earth” Azief is sure of it. What he is not sure is how much time had passed? Did he arrive at the appropriate time or did he botched the landing?

Though, that is not his immediate concern right now

“I need to move first”

He tries to moves his hand before.

But he notices that he could not feel anything from his hand

Before, he would have panicked.

However, Azief only sighed

It seems he knows what is wrong with him

“This would be a little bit gross” he thought to himself.

He turns his head and looks at his right side and he sighed

“I also lost a hand. I did not even notice it” he thought to himself.

His right hand was not cut. That would not be accurate to describe what happened to his hand

His hand was pulverized.

Not only his right hand. Almost half of his side of the body is now gone. But he is not bleeding. There is no red blood or golden blood.

There is just motes of light that is very hard to see leaking out of him.

Energies from his body leaking out.

He then look toward the left and he nodded.

The left side of his body is just like the right side of his body.

Pulverized. It would be gory if not for the fact that the cut is unbelievably smooth

And the fact it did not bleed make it not as gruesome.

“What a powerful destructive aura” Azief thought to himself.

The kind of aura that could dissipate his energy is the kind of power that could crush laws and rules of the world

Only when it reached such levels, it would pose a threat to him

After all, if one become an Essence Creation leveler and each time, they were attacked they would leak energy, then an Essence Creation realm leveler would not be so revered and feared across all Omniverse

Yes, when an Essence Creation realm leveler is injured, they leak energy.

But there is not many things in the Omniverse that could hurt an Essence Creation realm leveler.

Most of those who had reached a realm of power equivalent to Essence Creation realm rarely got hurt.

Some would never fought anyone that could match them in their lifetimes.

Because the distance between each galaxy is far away and even if one Essence Creation realm leveler travels to a different galaxy, it does not mean that the other galaxy is populated.

And even if it populated it does not mean there is someone in that galaxy that reached the same realm of power as an Essence Creation realm

Then, why is it Earth always find enemies that challenge them and Essence Creation realm levelers feel like nothing?

Because the kind of beings that came to Earth and make a mess of Earth is not normal beings.

It is like those in the final campaign went to the noob village and flaunt their powers and intimidate the noobs on the noob village

Even an ancient being like Odin is paying attention to this small rock floating in the dark space, not to mention the other beings.

All of them are ancient beings.

Azief is quite sure.

If Earth is not such an important place, if not for the significance of this small planet, Azief is quite sure, these ancient beings would never show themselves and Azief probably would live without such an urgency to upgrade his strength.

He might even exhausted his lifespan during and Essence Creation realm and never met a match

Because these ancient beings would not come out just to sightseeing. Most of these ancient beings have seen a lot of things

And they only need to send their avatars if they wanted to sightsee.

There is no need to accumulate karma, to entangle themselves in cause and effect like today

When they do come out, they have a reason for their actions

“The reason why this happen is because the entire Omniverse is about to be in chaos. Only then would they so eager to get out. Each one wanted to find a way to survive and each one wanted to achieve their own transcendence”

Azief smiles to himself.

Just like him. Knowing more things only makes him sigh even more and the burdens heavier.

But it is better than dying not knowing anything

Azief and other living beings is just unlucky to live in such an era. To some of course, it is a lucky world. Chaos means a rearranging of order.

But they did not know what he knows and what those other powerful beings knows.

Those who thinks this chaos is a ladder did not know the full story. It is mostly those who had just reached a type 2 or type 3 civilizations.

They think they have known a lot and already sits as the apex of the pyramid.

They did not know how truly vast this Omniverse is and how dangerous it really is.

It is because the thing that is about to happen touch upon the fundamental of the Omniverse itself that these supreme beings appear

This is the troubled times!
