Chapter 1909: The Word Sincerity

He chuckles bitterly as he added

“but…..since I return back home, even if there is a tough fight, even if there was a few times that I almost get beaten, I never truly reached a point where I was exhausted out of all options”

It is his way of saying that since the time he acquired the flute, he never reached a point where his method is exhausted.

If he was arrogant person, it means he has tens of thousands of methods.

But how could Azief be arrogant when he knows there is so many beings in the Omniverse that is far stronger than him and each of their method is more deadly than the other

The only reason why he never reached such a point is because he knows when to fight and also because the protection of fate and destiny

That and also because of his Perfect Foundation.

Those who walk this path are all blessed by fate and destiny and at the same time, they could fight above their realms and all of their magical means are overbearing and overwhelming

Now, he even reached Essence Creation.

All of his foundation is perfect and if he reached Sovereign with all of his foundation perfect, there is not many Sovereign in the Omniverse that could match him and barring any ancient beings that existence since the creation of time, Azief could then traverse freely and without worries to every corner of the Omniverse

Even Chthonian creature would not be able to match a Sovereign with perfect cultivation. He would stand tall with beings like Zeus, Odin and even Sun Wukong and even the Sages

Sun Wukong hearing this and he nodded

He sometimes forgot that this child has walk the Supremacy Stairway and reached a further path.

Sun Wukong did not reach the end. Because of the calculation of Western Heaven, his fate and destiny was plotted against.

Since his birth, the heavenly Palace, the Western Heaven and even the Sages plotted against him

That is why even though there is a statue of him in the Western heaven and there is his story in the Heavenly Palace, he would rather stay in this mountain then goes to those places

This resentment and dislike is not easy to dispel. Cutting one destiny, fortune and luck is not something that could easily be forgiven

This child was also the same. In the other timeline, he should not have reached this level of perfection for this long

In this world, there is not many beings that could walk the perfection path until the end. Fate and destiny hated such kind of perfection

Because those who reached the end with perfection path, is free from calculation.

Those who could calculate such beings with perfection path would only be those that is above the Source Wall.

But in this timeline, this child has gotten the help of the Trickster, the Oracle and step by step he is walking the taboo road.

And even Wargod is coming out and is helping this child. This is to create momentum

A Sovereign that has perfect foundation and is flawless. There is not many beings like that in the Omniverse.

Azief then said

“Since that is the case, I never thought of using it. And you know, that when you are accustomed to a certain set of methods, you rarely thinks of using other methods” Sun Wukong heard this and he nodded

He could understand

After all, he, Sun Wukong also uses stick method to fight.

Even if one palm is enough to suppress all of his enemies, because he is used to using stick method to fight, he kept using stick method

Azief when he is fighting will use all of his method but because his method of fighting is not revolved around the flute, he would rarely think of using it.

“Those ten demons would not be able to supplant you. Especially as you grow stronger. Before, they might have a chance. But even if that were to happen in the past, I would have helped you”

“If you helped me, I would owe you. Then today meeting would probably not happen” And Azief smile

The flute is powerful.

But it also has a price.

And maybe that was the price Sun Wukong hope he would pay.

Then, the cause and effect could be resolved.

Hearing this, Sun Wukong shakes his head and laugh.

“It is not a bad thing to be cautious and to be calculative, child. But too much scheming, too much cautiousness is as bad as too little. Sincerity then become rotten”

“And cause and effect like ours, is not so easy to resolve like that” Sun Wukong sighed as he look around him.

“look around you”

He paused for a second like he is letting Azief look around first

Then he said

“I have lived in this mountain of clouds for millions of years. Before your kind even walk the Earth, I was there. Before stories about Divine Monkey, about rebellious monkey was written, I was already jumping around worlds and swims in the rivers of stars. I have been suppressed and I was oppressed and I ascend and transcend all of those things. In this Omniverse, I do as I pleased” And Sun Wukong laugh.

And Azief could hear the arrogance in Sun Wukong laugh, a heroic figure that seems to enlarge.

“There are some beings like Odin who schemes and plots and tricks people. People forget that in Asgard, before Loki had the reputation of being a trickster, Odin was first. That is why those two are quite close to each other and become sworn brothers. Though, in some worlds, storytellers said Loki was his son.” Sun Wukong chuckles

“I think it is a propaganda that some Aesir and Vanir did to estrange those two. Or maybe, Odin himself propagate that story to annoy Loki”

Then Sun Wukong looks back at Azief , his big eyes is staring at him.

And Azief look up and see Sun Wukong eyes.

Sun Wukong has golden pupil and just by looking at Sun Wukong eyes, Azief feel like his eyes is burning and he looks down and squints his eyes

“Then there is Poseidon, doing a roundabout method. Hades who hides in the background, laying out chess pieces silently and who knows how many others. The destiny and fate that you possessed is terrifying. They are not terrified of you….now. They are terrified of what you will become and the fate and destiny burdened on you. So, they scheme and they plot. But me?”

Smiling Sun Wukong opens his arm toward the heaven

“I do as I pleased, jumping through the Three Realms, free from the Five Elements!”

Azief raise his head again

“Then….the reason you did what you did?”

“Let me teach you a lesson that those ancient beings forget to teach you. Not all ancient beings do things because it benefitted them. Some beings do it because they simply wanted to do it. Sincerity…..should be appreciated and treasured. And not chill the hearts of the people who gave it to you”

“Sincerity?”

And Sun Wukong smiles

“Sincerity”

Azief savour this sentence for a second. Then he smiles. Then he chuckles. And then he laughs

And he nodded

“It seems there is a lot of things that I have lost. And forgotten”

Sun Wukong only smiles

Yes, Azief has learned many things in his journey.

He had experienced so many things, and encountered so many plots and intrigue that he forget that there are people who do things without thinking of profit and loss.

He had seen such stories.

People who decided to do what is right instead what is beneficial. Sometimes, it is rewarded.

Sometimes, it is not

But for the one doing it, whether he is rewarded on it, or not, did not matter.

The action comes from sincerity.

There are also people who make use of these sincerity to enrich themselves.

These people point toward the people with sincerity and make fun of them not knowing that they taint their souls doing it

And souls are very important.

Maybe not to normal mortals.

But for beings like them, those who have powerful soul all have little taint in their souls

Sincerity…it is the most coveted things and the hardest thing to get.

Profit and loss come and go but some sincerity sometimes only appears a few times in one life.

Azief himself sometimes do things because he wanted to do it. Not because there is profit and loss.

Maybe, he himself has become prejudiced. And he thought of his own past and the encounter of his own past.

Alsurt teaches him sincerely.

Because of that sincerity, Azief never forgets that one day, he would try to free Alsurt.

Then there was Azul.

A love so strong, it continued for eons.

A lover that spend eons to revive his loved one, to bring up a soul when there is none

All of those years that have swallowed universes and bring down all kinds of empire to collapse, Azul had never given up

Love so enduring not because it was destined.

But because Azul was so stubborn that he kept that love and destiny alive
