Yet after taking just two steps, he found that Chen Yueying had appeared somewhere else again.

Though the distance was short, Ye Liuyun stopped and started several times before finally reaching Chen Yueying’s side. He then grabbed her hand and pulled her close, so they would not be separated again.

Chen Yueying’s face flushed bright red when he pulled her close. She assumed Ye Liuyun was especially excited because he had found her.

“Fortunately, you’re not too stupid. You knew to wait where you were, or I really would never have found you!” Only after grabbing Chen Yueying did Ye Liuyun finally let out a sigh of relief.

“Were you really that worried about me?” Chen Yueying did not pull her hand away from Ye Liuyun’s. She merely smiled and teased him.

“This place is far more dangerous than you imagine. Fortunately, the area we’re in is still safe. If you were to reach a dangerous area, you’d be in real trouble on your own!

Remember, I’ll keep holding this hand of yours and won’t let go. Be careful not to fall victim to the secret realm’s illusions!” Ye Liuyun reminded Chen Yueying once again.

Chen Yueying took a moment to calm her excitement and came back to her senses. Ye Liuyun had reminded her twice to beware of illusions, so there was probably some danger related to them.

“How are you able to travel through this void maze without losing your sense of direction?” she asked, curious about it as well.
